In this video I teach you how to make your own LED RGB cloud ceiling light. I was just enjoying the UA-cam algorithm when suddenly something caught my attention. It was one of those LED DIY TikTok CLOUD CEILING videos. It fascinated me, it intrigued me. So, I did some research and found out the best way that I could do this myself!
Anyone can do this with the right DIY mindset.
I love chilling in my room with this light on. It's bright enough that I don't even need my normal light anymore.

Thanks! I really needed this , hopefully I can do it in a week or so . Your video was really well made and helped a lot ! Thanks bro
Thank you for your comment! I´m glad it was helpful. 😁
Interessant en ... grappig, mooi gedaan!
Thanks for the blanket idea
very well explained, there surely are videos with more budgets and well decorated but this one is simply amazing!
Thank you so much for your comment!
this is actually really really good and the led lights idk where you got those but over all great build def doing this!
Thank you! It's a great project to work on, not too difficult and gives a beautiful result. I ordered the LED lights of a Belgian website but you can find similar ones on amazon. I heard a lot of positive reviews on the "Govee led strip".
Excellent idea and awesome 🤩 project. I loved LED lighting illusions. Thanks for sharing your video. I subscribed your UA-cam channel to support your YTC. Greetings from Canada 🇨🇦

@@diycreative2078 you’re welcome 🙏
Bro you have great talent .Push yourself to limit and you'll succeed big
Damn bro, you made my day! Thank you so much for your comment!
great video but the fairy lights that you used keep in mind that they get really hot so be carefull with those bcz cotton catches fire easily
Great video
Thank you!
Loved that ! Great job !
Thank you so much!
Hey man, thanks for the vid! I do have a question tho, you mentioned that you used polyester (which you can find in blankets etc) but where did you find the polypropyleen? I'm also from Belgium and the only thing I can find in foamy form is the polyester from blankets. Please tell me so I won't rip every blanket that I can find in the house haha 🙃
But again, nice vid! very helpful :)
Thanks for your comment! I found the polypropyleen inside pillows that I bought in the "Action". If you are from Flanders you will know that store for sure. 😁 They were super cheap, like 50 cent a pice. If i´m honest, you don´t really need it, you can do it with the polyester only. It will still look good. 😄 Good luck!
5:27 The cat is Chilling, wondering what you doing to the Ceiling
But you like, ain't you supposed to be helping, he's like, Nah, I rather be sleeping
You tell him, he's tripping, he says yeah, boy go get me some milk to be sipping 🎤
What a story, you could write a book! :p
Really like that, just think it will be impossible to keep clean how do you get spiders and dust out of it for instance.
Thanks! I have seen a grand total of zero spiders in the polyester. They simply are not attracted by it, so nothing to worry about! :) To clean it, is another issue. It has been up there for 9 months now and it still looks like new. So I wouldn't worry about that either to ;) It is worth doing!
Nice👏👏
Thank you! :)
Jacob zuma"in the benninging"😂😂
Hahah that´s one funny speech! 🤣
🤣
Not only did I do the cloud ceiling but also made a 4ft tall tornado 🌪 lamp
Cool! The tornado lamp sounds amazing!
@@diycreative2078 if you plan to do it, go with something that has chasing light mode, and use something small but strong as the base then poster board to make the cone 🌪 then ploy fill yourself a tornado
You're English is great
Thank you, I try my best! 😁
Fb market place has alot of free couches, alot cheaper to find free furniture and pull the polly than to buy it. Easy to wrap the furniture and pitch it to the trash later
That is a really creative idea! Thanks for sharing it with us. :)
Is it only me who sees the face in the clouds..?
I have two cats and predict your cat will be up there 😂
She tried but she can´t jump that high 😉
Please leave links on were you can get it on amazon and or what brands thanks
Thanks for your comment. I used a Belgian site so it will not be helpful for a lot of non-Belgian watchers. For the LED strip you can check out the brand "Goove" on amazon, as they have great reviews on their products.
Which one do you prefer if I use single cloud material, polyester or cotton?
Most people use polyester and it works great! :D
Hi, i was wondering if u did anything to prevent spiders making eggs and stuff up there because i heard that spiders love this type of place. Have you seen any spiders?
Hey, I hate spiders 😅 I noticed that other people were commenting that there would be spiders, but I can assure you that there are no spiders in the clouds, I don´t think they like the polyester 😁
@@diycreative2078 are u sure? There w'ont be any spiders and shit over here?
try spraying peppermint oil c:
I have this idea of making this kind of thing but on a canvas so that I don't ruin my walls since I am selling the house.
Great idea, I would do the same if I were in your situation! 😃
What gun was that. That you use to attached clouds in seeling
It is an electric stapler from the brand "Rapid".
Great setup but one tip, as a landlord if you rent and staple the ceiling like that say bye to deposit sry
Yes, exactly! I did mention this in my video. Don't do this if you rent a place unless you know how to fix the holes once you move out. :)
can i have a link to the place where you bought the led lights ty alot
I used: Lideka - LED strip 10 Meter (2x5) - RGB-IC - Dreamcolor. I live in Belgium (Europe) so if you are from the states, you might have to look for something else. A lot of people recommend "Govee led strip" on amazon.
If we do rent, how would you suggest we put the polyester on the ceiling?
I would make a wooden frame and hang it on your ceiling with a few screws. You will have more work, but this way you can also staple clouds to the wooden frame you have made. :) If you are not allowed to drill holes in your ceiling, you can still make a wooden frame with the polyester on top, but then simply place it against a wall so that you do not have to drill holes.
Does this work with TV screen effects and sound effects like Philips Hue ??
I think you should be able to connect you LED lights with your TV. You might have to look that one up tho :p
@@diycreative2078
Will this work ?
How did you zig zag them? Please and thanks
I just don't glue a little part of the strip and bend it. It's not perfect and sticks out, but with the polyester on top, you won't notice it! :)
what LED's did you use?

Please give me some idea to make my simple room to a gaming room please bro and reply me please 🙏🙏
Well, a gaming room is mostly lit up by LED lights. So you can start with the LED cloud ceiling like I did in this video, you can also watch my other video on how to make a LED corner lamp, that is also really cool. A gaming pc with LED lights inside is definitely a must ;) Take care bro
if my ceiling is made of concrite how i can staple the clouds?
That's a difficult situation. I would make a wooden frame and hang it on your ceiling with a few screws. You will have more work, but this way you can also staple clouds to the wooden frame you have made. :)

not a fire hazard at all lol
Polyester is flammable yes, therefore i would suggest using quality LED and Christmas light! If you do this, there is nothing to worry about. Take care.
How yo get the led lights to do that
You should buy LED lights that have these functions build in, so you can just change the settings with the remote or your app 🙂
Is your celeing made of concrete?
No it is a false ceiling made of plaster. 🙂
how is ith with dust ?
No dust, no spiders, no fires, just a really cool effect! :)
@@diycreative2078 thanks
!! you still have this ?
Is it safe?
Yes it is safe as long as you use LED lights. They do not get warm. :)
please don't staple the cat to your ceiling as well!! i know it has nice soft fibers but don't!!🤣
I promise I won't! ;)
Your cloud is dangerous to people with epilepsy
You can decide for yourself which colors and effects you want the lamp to display. In the video it seems intense, but you can put it on a more quiescent setting or only display one color if the party mode is too much for you. That way it is not dangerous. :)
🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ so bad 👎👎👎👎💯
Why so negative? You could learn something!
Thank you for your comment, I'm sure you could do better ;)
@@diycreative2078 Don't pay him any any attention he,s just Jealous good work very creative my man.
If there’s any chance to get a full pattern of the lights on the ceiling ? This looks really fire great work 🫣
Thank you for your comment! You can pause the video at 4:53 to see the way I hung the lights on the ceiling. 😁
