Nice review man, this is the most accurate review i've seen on youtube so far. Props to you. I got them like 3 days ago and the sound is not THAT muddy. Sure It's not crystal clear or anything like that but the IEM itself is not claiming to be clear. It's focused on bass and it's a basshead's dream in my opinion. If you listen EDM's, Traps, and generally Hip-Hop. Boy you gonna like how these sound. I love that it vibrates my ears. I have a question for you. I'm a BASSHEAD as you might have noticed :D I like how Hades sounds. And currently i'm saving up for the Scarlet Minis from FatFreq. If they are what people say they are, those will be my endgame IEMs. I know you tried them both. How does the Hades and Scarlets bass compare? Does Scarlets really have MORE rumbly, vibrating bass? Or they are just like Hades bass+clear sounding? How would you compare them? If they don't have significantly more bass i might just not buy them. I'm not looking for clarity. But if they have significantly MORE bass and sounding clear while doing it, i'll buy them towards the edn of the year. I highly appreciate your opinions and comment.
Hi there thanks for watching and for your kind feedback. Glad to hear you're enjoying the hades. The scarlet mini has a touch more sub bass extension but it's also leaner in its mid bass compared to the hades so it's going to sound much clearer, but it's still giving you a lot of punch and slam but if you didn't find the hades muddy then scarlet mini may have a bit less fullness to the bass notes compared to the hades. I personally feel the scarlet mini is a step up in terms of giving you all that bass but still giving you some clarity, the hades is purely bass focused, thick, heavy, overly filled bass notes that just covers the other frequency however with all this, experiences may vary but that's just my thoughts between the two. Not a budget recommendation but Scarlet Mini kinda punch in your face with their bass presentation, but I'm surprised there was nothing else beside Bass.
Would you consider the FiR Xenon 6 an upgrade from this? Looking at the graphs, the bass signature looks similar, but the Xe6 has better drivers and more treble to add details on top of the bass.
The graph may look similar, but the XE6 is simply levels above, the presentation is just much clearer and sharper. Honestly it's not much of a contest. It's more comparable with the 7hz Legato rather than the XE6.

That's kinda the point of the Maestro series, but it has a lot more treble than the 7hz Legato or even the QKZ Hades.
