i clicked the like button as soon as i seen that massive smile after you heard it turn over that first time. man what a feeling, great work sounds amazing!
Like the sound, but I decided against the thumper cam for something that's a more drivable. The thumper cam is great for a car that just needs to make noise at a show but their range is impractical. I used a Comp on my 351w that has 270/276, Lift .513/.513 and 110LSA. Part number 35-421-8. Got 400hp at 5200rpm 450ft/lb at 4000rpm
I always liked the “rumpety rump” sound of a cammed 302- and I don’t want to lose that building 351 with its different firing order …..your video is making me reconsider …. it sounds great!
I just finished up my 351w with the Edelbrock aluminum heads...runs sweet..the sweetest running engine I've ever had in the car...Love it....Thanks to Gary at Clarks Marine in Burlingame CA....
I'm currently building a 351w right now for my 1952 Ford F1 pickup. Brodix aluminum heads, 11:1 compression, big mutha thumpr roller cam, .030 overbore, forged bottom end, vic jr intake and 750 quick fuel carb, msd ignition. Now I know what mine will sound like! lol
Love it! I just bought the whole kit from jegs outch! expensive. What vehical did you drop her into? Also what horsepower do you think you atained with this combo? Mine is going into my 68 fastback had to put a boss 429 scoop on her for deck clearance under the hood! Good work mister!
