Most of the actors in City of God (Cidade de Deus), the 2002 Brazilian film directed by Fernando Meirelles and Kátia Lund, were indeed members of the actual community or similar favelas in Rio de Janeiro. The person currently in this film is the actor Alfred Enoch, who is Brazilian-British and has already done Harry Potter and How to get Away with a Murder, there is even an incredible scene for us Brazilians in which he shouts: "This country is also mine!" won him many awards at our film awards!
