I liked Deadpool 2 because it taught me to judge a person by his/her character rather than skin color. #RIPBlackTom Oh and the baby legs is the funniest/weirdest scene and my favorite moment in the movie.

I thought it sounded familiar but yeah I started laughing once I saw in the credits that they actually used the score from Logan cause Immediately knew which part of the film is was.
Yeh i loved it, was eating popcorn just expecting them to all do some badass landings and kick ass, i was only expecting that average guy to die in his landing, then what i saw just spat out my popcorn laughing.
Raghu Sharma That parachute sequence was the best thing in the movie. I must have laughed a good 10 ten minutes straight. This movie was thoroughly enjoyable. 9/10.
I didn't like it at all introducing characters and then killing them off for comedic effect is lazy writing and a waste of screen time, not to mention that they wasted Terry Crews, Bill Skarsgard, and the character of Shatterstar who is a MAJOR member of the X-Force in the comics and now they wasted him.
Cam Damelio Comedy is all about misdirection. It was funny because you didn't see it coming and it wasn't just the cliché of them landing like badasses.
Microfoot confession time: I never liked Russell even a little bit though. I'd have been fine with him dying. He was already hiding things in his butt and setting a school full of children on fire. I'm not saying he necessarily deserved to die at that point, but what a wanker.

ladygiggles the movie wasn't shot last week of course some the jokes will seem a lil old or late lol and i think they want to make $800m now and dc if the movie ages well 20 years from now lol. Nothing is objectively funny anyway
Irving Okang well since it wasn’t shot last week, maybe don’t add so much humor that will be dated so soon. I can’t imagine watching this movie 5-10 yrs down the line
cool review guys, but Christian for real! this is a Deadpool movie and like you said on the Solo review, this was for fun and there are no expectations, and DP is suppose to make fun of himself and should not take the movie so serious, Reilly you nailed it with your opinion I strongly agreed with you and Perry, I have so much fun with the movie, great job Collider, keep it up
Dennis missed the point of why he wanted to help the kid. When he met Vanessa in other life he came away from there thinking it was about the boy. He had to help the boy to join her again. And then he ends up dying protecting the kid and getting to be with her.
"It only takes 4 or 5 moments to be a hero" scene was absolutely fantastic. Breaking back to the 1st movie and then bringing it home in true Deadpool fashion with the soap dispenser joke.. I LOVED THIS MOVIE!!
Um, Wade did kill the guy who killed Vanessa. It was the guy he chased in the rain and then hugged, only to spin around and both getting plastered by a truck. Revenge complete.
I don't get the complaints about 4th wall breaking and some the jokes..um pick up a deadpool comic book and i dont even feel like he broke the 4th wall that much
Yes, but many of the films are based on the comics to begin with. With the right script, writers, directors, etc. I certainly think that it is possible. Even if you look at Infinity War which is itself based on a comic is not a literal adaptation. They changed some things here or there to make it more interesting and work better for the big screen. To think that they couldn't do the same for a X-men/Deadpool film is kind of odd imo.
I watched the movie yesterday with my GF and her co-worker. Both of them are born and raised Japanese ladies, struggling with English, not comic and film fans at all. I was worried that they would be lost on all the meta and talking humor. But I noticed they were lol-ing out at majority of the film's physical and contextual humor. It was a great time for all of us.
we try our best to not make her feel that way. but yeah I guess so. Japanese sensibilities are different but I wont discount the fact that she's a human being with feelings too lol.
No, you are the only person in the world who saw it. Out of the millions of people who went to go watch this movie, every single one of them missed that scene.
@17:00 Through one of his interactions with vanessa he came to the conclusion that in order to see her it had something to do with helping the kid. That’s why he was so motivated to help him. Because he thought it would get him back to Vanessa
I think Deadpool could work in a X-Men universe film similar to the Origins: Wolverine movie. He can crack jokes and be silly just not break the 4th wall, and if he does for example have someone say something like, "Hey, Deadpool's talking to himself again." Somebody else can say, "Yeah, he does that all the time." So basically, it's all in his head. After all, he's supposed to be a bit crazy from the cancer anyways, right?
OK, I’m probably trippin’ but am I the only person who saw what looked like Jared Leto’s Joker in the wide shot of the prison as Wade and the kid first walk in? There was a dude with what looked like (at a glance) a white face, red lips and slicked back green hair. Could that be the most inside cheeky meta joke ever?
Domino stole the movie for me. Her powers were portrayed perfectly and the actress did a great job. The jokes weren't as funny as the 1st Deadpool, but overall it's an entertaining film.
I agree! I liked it better than the first as well. I felt that the first one was a bit unbalanced...and really though Cable’s character helped balance things with Deadpool. Very fun!
Best movie of the year so far up there with infinity war for me . Usually I agree with the team about movie but I expected everyone to be way more excited about this
Also, I agree with Kristian. The kid who played Russel was awkward and underwhelming. Didn’t ruin the movie, but I definitely did not like that guy. The acting was just weird and not good. IMO.
The DC jab was hilarious they finally got Juggernaut right. the hawk eye jab lol I needed more of a storyline from cable I loved the movie. the end credit scenes had me in tears. The best Easter egg for me was was the grey and black Deadpool costume from X-Force
josh brolin is easily the best part of the movie. a lot of the humor didn't land, and I didn't like the kid personally. domino was disappointing as well. overall a decent sequel, but no where near the first movies quality.
Caught a double feature of DP1&2 which lent to a fresh comparison of both movies. The second entry is not as consistently funny, nor quite as hard-edged as the first; Cable's motivations were more recognizably human than Francis' (Ajax) unapologetic, gleeful embrace of pure evil. The introduction of Domino, whose superpower may be the most subversively powerful one ever conceived for a superhero, is a welcome addition to the ensemble - wonderfully portrayed by the charming Zazie Beetz. Fun and entertaining throughout, I'd give it a solid "B"....
Love this show you guys always give informative logical perspectives and I just want to know who thinks it would have been better if the replaced Russel with negasonic. Actor did great as Russel I just think it's better if you maximize what was setup in the original and spend a little more time with cable and domino
My sister was devastated when Nessa died and I agree they used her so well to guide DP through "family". The X-Men cameo had me scrambling for the remote to go back and watch it again then I realized I was in a theater.
While i like Deadpool 2 it's certainly not as good as the first movie but i will say that Zazie Beetz stole the show as Domino she was fantastic and Yukio was also a scene stealer
I was in side stitches throughout most of this film. I live for the Fourth wall stuff, but I especially love that Julian Dennison's Russel got his Fourth wall / social commentary moment with "have you seen a plus size hero?" I also really like the through line about, in the beginning, Wade and Vanessa are talking baby names, and in the end they are joke about how terrible a name fire-fist is. It's such a pick me up film. I was having a terrible day when I saw it and I came out grinning. I liked DP, I loved DP2. I connected with the tonal changes.
I loved this film. I was a little dubious of where it was going at first but the jokes were amazing so meta and he just said what all comic book movie fans were thinking. Even my girlfriend loved it and she’s not into superhero films at all. he became an x men trainee. Even the through away lines were insanely good.
Deadpool 2 was enjoyable and underwhelming at the same time. The plot wasn’t as memorable as the first movie’s plot. All of the characters were cool but none of them did much. Cable was badass but could have been used much better. He deserved more backstory and character development. Domino was cool too and her powers were shown well but as a character, she did very little but just be there. She barely reminded me of or felt like Domino from the comics. The “X-Force” team from the trailers had a funny plot twist that I won’t spoil. There’s also a certain character that wasn’t shown at all in the trailers that shows up and it was a delight. Although, that character could have and should been used much better as well. Overall, the movie could have been and should have been much better but I wouldn’t say it was a bad movie. It was just an okay movie at best. I liked the first movie. I didn’t love it like most but I would say it was an overall better film with a stronger plot that was simple and easy to follow. Deadpool’s 2 plot seemed like they had no idea what to do. It seemed like they chose what characters they wanted to include first then slapped together a plot to include them all. Even Deadpool made jokes about the lazy writing more than once in the film. Speaking of the jokes, some were very funny and some missed for me. There were a few too many Avengers references but a couple of them made me laugh out loud. Comedy is subjective though so yeah. In the end, I’d say Deadpool 2 is worth watching at least once. I don’t like giving movies number scores because I find them arbitrary. What I would say is Deadpool is a decent movie. Not bad. Not great. Just decent.
I agree with you. I'll add that to me it felt like a conventional comic book movie that didn't take any risks. It was funny at times, yes, but the plot was pretty flat and straightforward. I was entertained but nothing more. I'm sad that I feel this way because I really wanted to like this film. I had a feeling it wouldn't be as good as the first one because of the director. Not to say that he's a bad director, not at all. Just that his sensibilities don't fit the kind of requirements that a Deadpool movie has. I won't give it a numerical score either because each and every one of us has his/her own scale. I'll finish by saying that it was underwhelming.
One of my favorite jokes was when they were battling Juggernaut towards the end and when Deadpool was on top of him he said the lullaby that Black Widow gives to the Hulk.
I completely agree with Reilly, the movie was pitch perfect with it's jokes and forth wall breaks, it balanced the action with the comedy perfectly and still had a heart. The themes of redemption and belonging to a family was much more compelling than the theme of the first movie where it was about saving Vanessa and fixing his face, which I liked as well, but this was even better. Also, the complaint that there's too much forth wall breaking is funny to me, I mean, it's Deadpool, of course he's gonna comment on the CGI characters fighting, it would in fact be weird if he hadn't said that.
After rewatching the trailer last night (after seeing the movie) I can confirm the trailer engages in misdirection by having the X-Force members shown fighting in the trailer "The sun's getting real low big guy..." got a great laugh out of my thursday night showing
Matt Damon is also the king of cameos. He had a cameo in Thor: Ragnarok, the film Unsane(slightly spoiler for Unsane, cause I'm sure most People haven't seen that Movie since it didn't do well in the Box Office) & now Deadpool 2. I also believe he has a cameo in the upcoming Ocean's 8.
was ok. Not as good as the first, as expected, but certainly not bad. Domino was good. Hoping the end credit scene sticks because I didnt like what they did to Vanessa. Negasonic is getting hot too.
I really liked it. Humor was on point, insane amount of meta humor and references, shocked of X-force members' demise, and movie went by quick. I kind of thought a few jokes were misses. I can see what Harloff and Dennis were saying. Probably had my expectations a bit too high
T.J. Miller had a couple good lines in the movie actually. One was when he told Dopinder to use his "courage" to refill the sanitary napkin containers. And the other was when Deadpool had the baby legs thing and he kept saying that he's just "buttoned-shirt balling it" or something like that.
For me...I actually loved DP2 more than the first one. A lot of this has to do with the typical origin story/setup plot that was needed, but was already kinda old news to me. For clarification...LOVE Deadpool, but love Deadpool 2 slightly more. I found it hilarious...99% of the jokes landed, for me. The underlying story of Deadpool & Vanessa and then weaving in the redemption of Russell was perfect for a sequel. The easter eggs throughout the film are intense, and I know I will be seeing the movie 10 more times, to catch everything. Post-credit scenes were some of the funniest shit I have ever seen...almost died laughing, before leaving the theater.
This movie was so damn good! It got a 10 out of 10 for me! What a guilty pleasure! I wasn't disappointed at all, super funny, heart, fun and pure entertaining! Ryan is Deadpool all the way threw! I thought it was better then the first! I saw with a full audience and everyone was completely engaged! People laughed and clapped! My favorite movie of 2018! You love Deadpool or the first movie just go! All the characters worked! All the 4th wall was awesome, never felt like it was to much, that's what Deadpool does! So happy to see the old characters! Deadpool is a gem in the world of movie's and thank you Ryan Reynolds for making these Deadpool movie's entertaining and I believe the audience just gets it, not meant to be taken serious, just so much fun! Smiled ear to ear! I laughed all the way from start to finish! Yes, he pokes fun at so many things but it wouldn't be Deadpool without meta and 4th wall and T.J. Miller was just as funny, he didn't fall flat at all, the heart is still Vanessa and Deadpool! So must see!
Just saw it today. I really really enjoyed it, a lot of fun. I think the first one is a better film because the storyline was simple straight line done well. This one does have it's misses. It's biggest problem for me is that there was no great villain in this film. I wish they had made the mad preacher a bigger more well rounded character, we needed our heroes to feel like they over came some great villain. Loved Juggernaut, wish he had just a few extra mins. Dead pool is still in the a game and I'm looking forward to seeing more.
This movie was obviously not taking it self serious, yes they try to teach us small lessons but it’s a fantasy/superhero film so it’s not to be judged really big, theme is family, a lot of amazing spectacles and funny af nuff said, good summer movie
Loved the Black Widow, Hawkeye, and Hulk jokes. I missed the mural of Stan Lee and the Matt Damon cameo. I'll have to catch those next time I watch it.
I think they presented the idea of X-Force in a subtle but very effective way throughout this. Deadpool becomes an X-men trainee which he's done a few times in the comics and wasn't cut out for it. The concept of X-Force being a team that can do the things that X-Men and Avengers can't be. Dirty, gritty and cold-blooded killing machines if they need to be. Deadpool's talk with Colossus about rules and doing things that other's won't speaks to X-Force and I really hope Colossus is in the X-Force movie.
I was a bit upset with how Cable was used but there were some MAJOR LAUGHS (X-Force Death and Baby Legs) Really good Sequel that I think tops the original
Completely agree with Reilly, this movie to me surpassed the first and I liked that one alot but this definitely upped it and freakin Juggernaut! Also I thought the sstory structure was good wish it was longer though
I think Deadpool helped the kid so that when he finally did die he could be with her. That’s a pretty important part of the plot for the most of the movie, even if it did change at the end. He wanted to be w Vanessa, figured out how to do that by helping the kid.
Deadpool rolls with everyone and the frequency of his filth isnt as notable in the comic books. He works really well on his own, but he shines with other characters. To say it would "RUIN" Deadpool to cross him over is simply a gross exaggeration. He can be him and dial back the cursing and dirty jokes for a cross over and still keep his street cred. It's 100% not accurate comic book wise.
I really liked it, the humor was solid, funnier than the first but the story was there it wasnt just all jokes for the sake of it. So now we know what all those reshoots were then, cause Bedlam, Shatterstar and Zeitgeist all got mashed up, but in the trailer it shows them fighting. Im not disappointed though cause they were all abit too jokey tbh, and i was laughing my head off when they all fucked up their landings. Yeh i like the whole theme of family and i like the characters at the end, they make a good team, they could make a X-Men spin-off movies just with Deadpool's Fam here. I dont remember seeing Negasonic do much in this movie though. The X-Men cameo was blink and you'll miss it awesome. This is what i love about DP2, it does take the mick out of everything, they dont really even get that when Deadpool actually gives us the heads up on the Big CGI fight thats about to ensue, thats actually him taking the mick at us as the audience alittle, in our fanboyish expectation of the classic, typical OTT CGI battle between the two big characters. Im a big starwars fan and i do like my sci fi to take itself serious, but i love Deadpool2 because its very refreshing that it just takes jabs at everything, and everyone in Hollywood practically when it comes to movies and the franchises. One thing ive learned from DP1 and especially 2, is that as much as im a nerdy sci fi fan, you gotta just take a break from all these things, dont take everything too serious all the time and just relax and have a laugh, and i had a good time in the cinema i came out feeling good :)
I thought it was ok. I'm more on Dennis's side. What Kristian feared the movie would be is what I wanted it to be. I didn't think the story was very good (surprised no mentioned that it was a copy of Looper), and it kind of got in the way of the humor and the character relationships.
I agree with the panel in saying that Deadpool shouldn’t be in any of the actual X-Men movies because his fourth wall breaks will ruin the story. Although I would be ok with a Deadpool cameo/smaller role and maybe he quips at things that don’t have to do with the X-Men, like your average funny Deadpool but not poking fun at problems with the Studio or franchise
I enjoyed watching it at home, but it was little over the top for me. I will say that it felt closer to what DP is in the comics, though. Some fun action scenes, some creative stuff along the way, but a bit heavyhanded in what it does best. The whole time I kept thinking "if this was a tv show, this would be amazing, but as a movie it's a little loose." I'm not sure if that makes sense. I had fun, though.
they managed to put a Legion (FX series) easter egg in the movie by casting the kid that played young David Haller in Season 1. don't care if it was intentional or not.
the young kid eating cereal in the mutant rehab center that Deadpool quickly converses with after being thrown through the building by Juggernaut is the same actor who portrayed a young David Haller in Season 1 of Legion on FX.
I loved loved the movie. One thing I was worried about was it being more of an X-Force movie and not a Deadpool movie, but I think they balanced it perfectly. The jokes were hilarious, I thought a couple of T.J Millers jokes were ok. I'm not sure if I like this one more than the first one yet I think I'll have to see a couple more time before deciding.
Interesting and fantastic, was hoping to see the teleport belt brought in, maybe that will be a nod in what ever comes next. Loved the movie and now just want my DVD copy!!
I don't know if I agree with Christian and crew on Deadpool not being able to work with the X-men, etc. They are able to mix Deadpool up with other characters in the comics. I think it just would take the right writing and script to balance them. Deadpool and Spiderman is a pretty good read for instance. Hell Deadpool and Thanos share panels in a comic book. They can quite easily dial things back to make a crossover work in my opinion. Deadpool can still be deadpool and share pages/screentime with an X-men he already has in Deadpool shared screentime with Colossus. To say he wouldn't work is kind of strange when he quite clearly already works with the limited number of X-men we have seen, i.e. Colossus, Negasonic, etc.
The Essex House felt like a huge nod to Nathaniel Essex, epsically with the people there running experiments on mutants and doing all kinds of things to them, and I don't know if they are going to have him in a future film. Heard there was talk that he would be featured in New Mutants, but that it got changed.
Did anyone pick up on the score during the Juggernaut scene? The chorus was saying “Oh holy shit, Juggernaut is here” or something along those lines. Fucking brilliant!
Yes I’m totally biased, but I love Reilly, cos he connected with this movie like most Deadpool fans did. Lot of respect for the rest, it’s all opinions, but I will always lean towards the ones who share my view (obviously).
Deadpool didn't sacrifice himself for the kid really, it was more about his own death-wish. But if his death could mean something at the end, that was simply an effect of him wanting to do right by Vanessa. Remember, he tried to kill himself to be with her.
I agree, dont bring Deadpool to X-Men or MCU, unless the MCU uses him like one time or sum, but I actually wanna see a buddy film, where Spuderman goes to the Deadpool franchise, and we actually get to see a semi non cannon Deadpool and Spiderman movie
I died when Deadpool said Suns getting real low to Juggs
Lmao I laughed hard at that too. Cant believe barely anyone recognize that from the Hulk/Black Widow.
Colossus vs Juggernaut. That's like a nerd wet dreams coming to life.
For REEEAAALLLLLLL !! !!! ! ! !! !
And what's his legal middle name again ??? HAHAHAHA
Too bad the fight was dull.
MultiPlatGamerGuy indeed, i thought black tom was his final villain.
that xmen cast cameo though, took me by surprise
Went by soooo quick didn’t even get to see who was all there! Loved it though 😂😂😂
except I was a little confused about why they were the younger cast, doesn't deadpool take place present time?
thevanishingflame yes!!! First thought that came to mind.
I loved how they all looked so annoyed at Deadpool before Beast shut the door. I was howling with laughter at that scene.
Rown Aerith it was so quick I only saw Beast and Quicksilver
I liked Deadpool 2 because it taught me to judge a person by his/her character rather than skin color. #RIPBlackTom
Oh and the baby legs is the funniest/weirdest scene and my favorite moment in the movie.
"You killed Black Black Tom!"
@ZECTCustomUnit I actually thought Deadpool was a SJW in this and that Cable served the more grounded voice
Loved the Xmen cameo, Brad Pitt cameo, end credits stuff, really liked the movie a lot.... and Did ANYONE notice that the music that deadpool was dying to was THE MUSIC that Logan actually dies to in Logan??? I thought it sounded familiar but yeah I started laughing once I saw in the credits that they actually used the score from Logan cause Immediately knew which part of the film is was.
TheFlickinCritic bro I said the same shit lol
he also said "papa" like Laura did, but as part of Papa, Can You Hear Me- Barbara Streisand.
Deadpool 2 is kinda spoof version of logan
That "I'm batman" line KILLED!!
Honestly that x force parachute scene was pure gold 👏🏽
Yeh i loved it, was eating popcorn just expecting them to all do some badass landings and kick ass, i was only expecting that average guy to die in his landing, then what i saw just spat out my popcorn laughing.

...calling Domino, "Black Black Widow" made me laugh the most.
They didnt mention the James Bond style opening credits
i really liked that they did that
“I spit acidic vomit. Want me to show you?”
“No no that’s ok. We get it, we’ve all eaten at Arby’s”
Arby's: We have the meats. You'll have the shits.
The whole “putting Russell on the right path” thing was very Mystique in Days of Future Past.
it kinda reminds me of the xforce comic's Deadpool, Kid Apocalypse relationship.
Exactly what it reminded me of too.
Microfoot confession time: I never liked Russell even a little bit though. I'd have been fine with him dying. He was already hiding things in his butt and setting a school full of children on fire. I'm not saying he necessarily deserved to die at that point, but what a wanker.
Yeah I’m surprised they didn’t address that.
It remind me of Rain man in the Looper
Greatest mid credit scene in the history of mid credit scenes.
Bryan Kruse couldn't agree more, man!
If only Kathleen Kennedy and Disney-Lucasfilm could laugh at themselves like that, and throw in some cameos actually jokingly addressing all the fuck-ups they've made so far in the Starwars franchise. The fans would forgive them in a heartbeat if they did.
heard rumor they almost did chris evans cameo as the human torch. that would have been awesome.
Not surprising that reilly who is the most comic book savvy of the 4 up there liked the movie the most..i feel DP2 was better than the first as well
Dennis is a comic book head too
Irving Okang I read a whole lot of comics, and I actually think DP1 is a better movie than the sequel.
I still thought it was a lot of fun though.
EwanMakeMovies it has been a while since I've seen the first, probably have to watch em back to back
ladygiggles the movie wasn't shot last week of course some the jokes will seem a lil old or late lol and i think they want to make $800m now and dc if the movie ages well 20 years from now lol. Nothing is objectively funny anyway
Irving Okang well since it wasn’t shot last week, maybe don’t add so much humor that will be dated so soon. I can’t imagine watching this movie 5-10 yrs down the line
Brad Pitt now joins Batista and John Cena as the invisible men
I love the James Bond-ish opening credits. They stepped it up from the first one.
cool review guys, but Christian for real! this is a Deadpool movie and like you said on the Solo review, this was for fun and there are no expectations, and DP is suppose to make fun of himself and should not take the movie so serious, Reilly you nailed it with your opinion I strongly agreed with you and Perry, I have so much fun with the movie, great job Collider, keep it up
Abinadi Gonzalez Kristian, not Christian

I'm BATMAN!
My name is Jeff
officialpartychannel I'm Martha
I don't get the complaints about 4th wall breaking and some the jokes..um pick up a deadpool comic book and i dont even feel like he broke the 4th wall that much
Yeah I mean, breaking the 4th wall is kind of Deadpool's thing.
It's a movie, not a comic.
Linkman247 i chopped his comment up to trolling lol
He had to save the kid in order to see Vanessa and that was awesome!!
Yes i agree, and also cause he loved her and would do anything she wanted, he listened to her about the kid.
The first prison wallet joke killed me. “I can hear you rummaging around in there”. Ded.
Gogo That’s a really good sign in terms of the film’s international box office.
we try our best to not make her feel that way. but yeah I guess so. Japanese sensibilities are different but I wont discount the fact that she's a human being with feelings too lol.
Did no one notice Brad Pitt as the Vanishing man?
Thanks! I was trying to figure out where I didn't remember seeing him. I didn't realize that was him.
No, you are the only person in the world who saw it. Out of the millions of people who went to go watch this movie, every single one of them missed that scene.

More Zazie Beetz? Yes please!
I LOVED DEADPOOL 2 probably better than the first one... I agree, "It was pitch perfect"
Paul Rizzo dude I saw that too! I was like, “is that the fucking Joker?”
I KNOW RIGHT!?!?
I am with Reilly on his take. The Marvel and DC jokes were hilarious. You’re welcome Canada!
Domino stole the movie for me. Her powers were portrayed perfectly and the actress did a great job. The jokes weren't as funny as the 1st Deadpool, but overall it's an entertaining film.
G.V. Wow! I feel sorry for you... NOT!!!
I wasn't asking for pity in my review of DP 2 - but thanks anyway?
I liked DP2 better than the 1st I know crazy right but I did!
i havent seen it yet but cable tells me ill like it more than the first too.
Yeah it’s better than the first movie
It's okay, I did too lol
niccomakk me too I wanna see more.
I agree! I liked it better than the first as well. I felt that the first one was a bit unbalanced...and really though Cable’s character helped balance things with Deadpool. Very fun!
holy shit I missed matt damon part...gotta see it again
Malaik Azzawan It was Brad Pitt mate.
Matt Damon was in Thor the third Thor.
Actually Damon is on DP 2 too. He's the farmer that was tazed by Cable
I caught Brad Pitt but yeh didnt see any Damon.
Boczell0 yup
Best movie of the year so far up there with infinity war for me . Usually I agree with the team about movie but I expected everyone to be way more excited about this
Also, I agree with Kristian. The kid who played Russel was awkward and underwhelming. Didn’t ruin the movie, but I definitely did not like that guy. The acting was just weird and not good. IMO.
This movie was straight up the plot of Looper in a lot of ways and T2 but it was still really great
You can see juggernaut chilling on the side of the pool alive like its a hot tub when they leave the ward at the end of the movie.
I notice that too
Going to have to look for that...was waiting for a post credit scene of him coming out of the pool.
As a comic book Deadpool fan, I liked it a lot. I don’t care for movie plots and writing, I enjoyed it!
At the end of the movie, when Deadpool has gray powder on his suit, it reminded me of his X-Force suit in the comics. He’s just missing the red eyes.
HAHAHA I was laughing so hard when the "x-force" died parachuting in!!!! soooooo good!!!!!!!!
My sister was devastated when Nessa died and I agree they used her so well to guide DP through "family". The X-Men cameo had me scrambling for the remote to go back and watch it again then I realized I was in a theater.
The amount of Domino and Cable in the movie was perfect, their scenes were great and they left us wanting more of them for the future.
While i like Deadpool 2 it's certainly not as good as the first movie but i will say that Zazie Beetz stole the show as Domino she was fantastic and Yukio was also a scene stealer
Christopher Woodburn Domino was shit! She’s supposed to be an albino, as it’s part of her mutation!
ZECTCustomUnit Ahhh fuck them they're morons
The "CGI" Joke was for the critics that say that shit literally every super hero Movie. And you people over think the jokes WAY too much
I fuckin died of laughter when Wade had baby legs
I was in side stitches throughout most of this film. I live for the Fourth wall stuff, but I especially love that Julian Dennison's Russel got his Fourth wall / social commentary moment with "have you seen a plus size hero?" I also really like the through line about, in the beginning, Wade and Vanessa are talking baby names, and in the end they are joke about how terrible a name fire-fist is. It's such a pick me up film. I was having a terrible day when I saw it and I came out grinning. I liked DP, I loved DP2. I connected with the tonal changes.
That last scene where he's dying, I was so bored that I was like "Just die already!" never thought I will think like that after 1st movie.
Agreed
Hey big guy. The sun is getting low.
Madelyn Pryor is Cable's Mother not Jean Grey.
Plot was so mediocre. Movie was entertaining. No way near to the 1st movie.
After rewatching the trailer last night (after seeing the movie) I can confirm the trailer engages in misdirection by having the X-Force members shown fighting in the trailer
"The sun's getting real low big guy..." got a great laugh out of my thursday night showing
X Men cameo and Vanishing Man = Brad Pitt cameo were THE BEST!
Domino and Dopinder were great. Loved the mid credits scene. And the Martha and DC jokes as well.
"You sure your not from the DC Universe" was hilarious because Josh Brolin had a bad experience with Jonah Hex.
Raghu Seetharaman That movie also starred Megan Fox. Great model, not such a great actress.
You find that hilarious? No set up or punchline. It’s just a stupid reference.
Yes! Domino was awesome !!! When Deadpool freaked out she was already got into the truck lol 😂 still in denial about her mutant powers lol 😝
I agree with Perri about Russell. He was probably my favorite new character in the film.
"Who knew it would be so windy?"
"Everyone..... Literally Everyone knew about it."
Great review guys tell Collider heroes to lighten up their dp2 review and have some fun
The death scene went on for too long for me personally. I know it is satire, but it didn't work for me.
Kent Graber Agreed
I couldn't stop cursing when the movie ended for about an hour so, this intro is me
Deadpool rolls with everyone and the frequency of his filth isnt as notable in the comic books. He works really well on his own, but he shines with other characters. To say it would "RUIN" Deadpool to cross him over is simply a gross exaggeration. He can be him and dial back the cursing and dirty jokes for a cross over and still keep his street cred. It's 100% not accurate comic book wise.
ZECTCustomUnit exactly. People act like he is a one dimensional r rated character when he is absolutely an Everyman character.
I liked it but the first was better I'd say 6 out of 10 for me.
I was the only person in the theater who laughed at the feet reference
Randall Paints same! Haha everyone gave me weird looks, I see you fellow sweatie!
The people in my theater literally couldn’t breathe cuz they were laughing so hard 😂
Was Juggernaut saying he wears the helmet to protect himself from his brother? Maybe professor x? Crazy!!
they managed to put a Legion (FX series) easter egg in the movie by casting the kid that played young David Haller in Season 1. don't care if it was intentional or not.
MKSongbird good catch!! I missed that!
the young kid eating cereal in the mutant rehab center that Deadpool quickly converses with after being thrown through the building by Juggernaut is the same actor who portrayed a young David Haller in Season 1 of Legion on FX.
MKSongbird ohhh shit your right.
Oh shit good eye! That’s awesome!
I didn't love it as much as the first one...but I'm still going again.
DOUBLE TOASTED VS WILDBERRIES (You know it makes sense).
HAHA "they don't make plus sized superhero suits"!
