Rafa Benitez is a LFC legend and Rafael Benitez is a Newcastle legend too
don't forget valencia
Don’t forget Everton
Dont forget Napoli and Chelsea (win Europa leugue)
It was definitely one of his biggest achievement as a Liverpool manager even he won the UCL in his very first season defeating the strong Chelsea in semi final and then AC Milan in final which is an impossible achievement.
u forgot about capellos juventus YNWA
@@simonek.1853 Huh yeah the stunning goals scored by sami hyypia and Luis Garcia.
Too bad it ended ugly for him
@@gnimnuh6570 Well I know it ended bad in 2010 but still had good time at Liverpool.
I think back then beating Jose's Chelsea in the UCL semi finals was a monumental moment cause in the PL that season they only conceded 15 goals.
Honestly I dunno how rafa can think back to this special moment and still go to Everton
And will get sacked by them
Ruining his legacy..
@@fredericcjm7 not in the slightest
@@saz19s8 you called it
@@fredericcjm7 it confirmed his lagacy that he was a Red at heart!
I don't know if it was Rafa or Gerrard who boosted up the players for that 2nd half
But this man surely is a football legend
Rafa and that team gave me one of the best and most memorable nights of my life as a 14 year old boy. I will always appreciate it.
Yes, but you have to ask yourself, where was Paul Pogba in all of this? He’s a 100m player.
:Graeme Souness
How on earth did that team win the champions league:)) fair play to them:)
It’s about the team spirit
Benitez was a genius of adjusting tactics to stifle the opposition even with the poor quality of the team. It only failed during the first half vs Milan but then he changed it and a miracle happened.
@@advenco344 He's not doing that at all at Everton. He's sticking to a 442 and not changing tactics at all.
@@sukhdevr3489 well the game has changed since 2005 plus he’s got a lot of injures to key players right now.
@@sukhdevr3489 2000s was last major era of 4-4-2
Liverpool are magic, Everton are tragic
🤔 😂
Hahahaha 🤣😂 don't go really hard on Everton they are our rivals but they deserves some respect and I'm looking forward to tonight's game.
@Up the Toffees Yeah yeah we remember that last season Everton won at Anfield 2-0.
At least ur rivals are easy to beat.
@@BigSmokeMUFC No it's not that easy as everyone thinks
What makes this video even more strange is that rafa is now the manager of everton fc who are liverpools rivals from across the river mersey.
Wow 👌😎😃😍😘🤩😱🤔🤗😬😮
Not across the river. 2 minutes away, across Stanley park
Factos 👍 👀
The timing again lol
I think IS one of the best managers in History
stone cold winner
Welcome back to NUFC ..next season
The last elite manager in europe
I think Rafa started losing it once he signed for Real Madrid. But the biggest crime i think, was the beard.
Come on, he won goatee of the year with that beard 😆
Everton should have got Eddie Howe.
Newcastle should have got Rafa.
Rafa looks out of place at Everton.
He look like Anupam kher
Rafa might be the next PL manager to get sacked this season 😳
The Everton owner (Moshiri) said he won't sack him and he'll give him the time he needs to rebuild his squad
Didn’t win this game Gerrard was off 2 Chelsea
Before Rafa Liverpool was Tottenham
Illiterate people can't remember 2001
@@g-1393 ok
Before Rafa Liverpool had 18 league titles, 4 champions leagues, 3 Europa leagues, 6 fa cups and 7 league cups. Spurs don't come close
What about Gerard Houllier?
Gerard pretending to play it cool in the background - oh is there even a camera there I hadn't noticed - but he knows exactly what he's doing. Assiduously lining up his post match boast
he was going to be interviewed next , what you on about
Why wouldn’t he boast about it?
Pure luck getting that goal that didn’t cross the line vs Chelsea. Then this 3-3 comeback to win on penalties. The biggest fluke in champions league history
Cry more
Mate at least we won it in 2012 and again in 2021
If they didn’t give the goal then Cech would’ve been sent off and Liverpool would’ve had a penalty.
@@rohithraman6488 How do those CL wins relate to his comment?
@@sukhdevr3489 I was thinking that this person was bitter about the 2005 semi final, and I was saying chill at least we won two afterwards
Honestly, he's a very overrated manager who's largely built his career off this one achievement.
Valencia anyone?
Literally won the league at Valencia before this ahead of Madrid and Barca
@@mmw4990 Yes, and that's impressive but it was this which really made people sit up and take notice. He didn't do much else at Liverpool - well, in the league anyway - and since leaving them he's failed at a treble winning Inter and at Real Madrid and only really succeeded at Chelsea (and even then only as an interim) and at Newcastle - and even that last one is debatable given his average league position wasn't much better than Bruce's.
Two league titles in Spain that proceeded this trophy, and breaking the Madrid Barca monopoly on a budget, must be too much for your pea-brain to remember then, eh?
