Man In A Box Costume / Illusion - How to Make it!

- This is a version of the man in a box illusion costume. UA-camrs "Stevenhale", "Nick EP", and "thai0911" inspired the idea. My girlfriend and I strolled around our town on Halloween evening 2014, and the costume was a big hit. Even though I saw some great videos of this costume on UA-cam, they didn't really show the design details. I thought I would also demonstrate how we created it, in case anyone else is interested. Hope you enjoy.

i used a large wooden coat hanger, some bamboo garden canes for the body frame & a polystyrene head off ebay. Heated up the Metal hook on the coat hanger & pushed it into the head. Lots of gaffer/duck tape, came out brilliant. Looking forward to going out on Halloween, will be great :-)
Thanks! I used this idea to make a variation. The cardboard box was too weak to support the weight of the ''man", so I opted for a plastic box.

What i did was i just used a pillowcase and filled it with newspaper for the body

+Evultz A bit late here, but any supermarket-styled store (that seems like they have something for everything you may need) should have these items. If you don't have any supermarkets near you, perhaps ordering everything off of Amazon will be your best bet, especially if you have Prime. :)
