    i'd wager hired advertisers would be even more susceptible to this kind of persuasion than the average person. they are basically being hired to not only be creative, but creative in a way that they are reasonably sure their work will please the customer (derren). so it is in their best interest to pick up on subtle ques that derren gives as the ques will clue the advertisers in on what derren is looking for.

    I think what derren brown does is he does a basic trick, like maybe he swapped the envelopes or something like that. But then makes the explanation something crazy complicated but not actually how he did it, which leaves your mind really confused

    • @goodmaro
      @goodmaro 2 роки тому

      The only way I could see its being done is if the envelope was some sort of spirit slate, which is a magician's prop for doing "prediction" tricks. That is, it would've been rigged with some sort of device for making the drawing by remote control while it was still folded in the envelope. But I think in this case suggestion actually was the means. He has at least one other video wherein suggestion worked on the UA-cam audience without our even realizing it.

    I think I figured this out myself when analyzing dreams. I often say dreams are an accumulation of things we see throughout the day that we don’t think about, or even really see. Walking down the street seeing a picture of a clown and then all of a sudden something in our dream has a clown. Sometimes it just doesn’t really mean anything. Just something we saw, but didn’t pay attention to, but somehow registered in our mind and it comes back at night and we often wonder why did we think of such random things and the reason is because it was there but we didn’t see it.

    Thank you for your videos. People at my work were using nlp on me to try and make me make mistakes and look stupid. I noticed everytime i went to the self check out in our break room at work to buy a drink, this guy jeff was right behind me and waiting until i took my credit card out and attempted to use it. He would interrupt the action and in a goofy voice say whats up steve. 3 days in a row. Everytime now i get a puzzled frozen emotion, it lasts for about a half hour to an hour of a foggy head and can't concentrate on my work. Every hour he would walk by my press and say the same thing in the same goofy voice. Everytime i get tye same feeling. I just started my job and actually downgrading from die setter to press tech. So i know the basis of the job and caught on fast and that is why he is doing it. Then i got a girl who attempted the same thpe of nlp. She walks up smiles and says steve you stole 20 dollars from my purse. Yada yada. I dont know her motivation as she never really anchored anything. But i know she kept looking at my left eye and left hand directly after she did that. Then she says im just playing. Anyway thank you again. But his explanations are something I find doubtful sometimes because if you or I tried the same trick we would surely fail. He is an amazing "mentalist", but I think he does a lot of pre-stage work. Similar to Victorian spiritualits which he know a lot about. When he revealed how he did the horse betting trick and then explained it is one I had already known about and it was even in a 60's "The Twilight Zone", and is actually illegal in the UK.
      The intrigue of the chess match was the most flummoxing. The technique was simple and I knew how he did all the trick but all I don't know is how he beat the only player that he was genuinely playing. Anyway I'll sush now.

We are so quick to forget the banning of subliminal advertising here in the United States because of the profound effect it had on the purchasing habits of those who were subjected to such practices, most notably in movie theaters and in alcohol advertisements. The true acid test however is to simply take a drive down any business street and to pay attention to the billboards, signs and markers you encounter along the way. It’s so simple.

  • @LeSuperGamer25
    @LeSuperGamer25 5 років тому

    It was the order you suggested the stuff that led them to it , after suggesting ONLY 30 mins , pressure applied then the retreat thing led by emmediate sight of grizzly bear ( size/snarl) then boom . All while derren stood up ( they sat ) , the paper was placed upsidedown on the desk afterwards to keep a visual of all sublimal messages . The panic of 30 mins kicks in and they are on the case , they end up doing the advert after a TOY was on the table and white pearly gates from the zoo drawing . Ok here goes after coming up with nothing .......... thats how its done .

    • @LeSuperGamer25
      @LeSuperGamer25 5 років тому

      They were that busy putting the advert together that they literally built up the whole thing placed on the last thing they thought . Then by domino effect they literally came to the last part which was when you walked in the door . Subconscious rewind claimed by trying to brainstorm the advert , while picking up the scent from the very begining , they have accidently tapped further back and then just sucked up the lot in perfect order of every last detail to the moment you walked in the door . They have thought it up themselves by soaking up every detail from the second you walked in to the moment you left . They gave you everything you asked for because they are the best of the best in sumbliminal advertising so tapped into the lot due to squeezing every angle possible . By the end no matter which way round it ends the same . The whole formula has a snap back reset at each end that triggers the forwards backwards subconscious rhythm ( metronome effect ) . The centre flip is beautiful . Cant tell you just how many levels this has been thought on ( kaleidoscope effect ) . That was what floored me by the beauty of it . The pivit point is key to hold it in place which is why ive got it and figured it out . When the penny dropped ( in my head ) , i realised my favourate toy as a child was a kaleidoscope . Music was my hobby . Then saw the connection and boom . Then realised i had tapped into the next bit . If it hadnt been for that i wouldnt have rumbled it . The whole thing was stunning . I was in a social experiment just now by realising im at the end of a brainfart while leaking oil all over the comment section . Next level , im not deleting it coz thats my gift to the test . Hope more people like me jump on the comment thread . . Cant stop the brainfart . Ive been doing this all week at home . Ive barely slept , im unhinged for it . It feels like opium . Ive been a heavy smoker for years yet barely touched any this week and dont know why it just seems beneath me . Ive never been able to understand the human mind but its fasinating and its fun to play with . I feel brand new .

    • @LeSuperGamer25
      @LeSuperGamer25 5 років тому

      You must have started from the centre point and work outwardly over and over and left to right to be able to put it together story wise and experiment wise .

    • @LeSuperGamer25
      @LeSuperGamer25 5 років тому

      At 5:00 the youtube experiment is on , what did it for me is the picture differences , for me something was off about the size difference with the water on each drawing . Just toooo many considering this is social experiment , so for whatever reason i decide to just look and take a step back . I knew you had specifically SAID we took ages putting it together and it took ages etc . Im looking and im thinking and im also thinking , is the experiment to see if a youtuber can spot a key point in which you got me ? You always no matter what do you own drawings and your water / blue difference was planted . Also your extensive work around it was because your a perfectionist was planted . If blue / water dominates the guys pic and red/ fear dominates derrens , then the only conclusion i can come to is that the real social experiment is for someone one to point that out . As simple as that . You ask me what i see . That is what i see . At 5:oo , freeze the clip get a cup of tea and sit for a bit .

    i deleted fornite because it kept prom[ting me to buy the battle pass but its not a yes or no answer it's "i want to buy the battle pass" or "back" but its the text that keep popping into your brain "i want to buy the battle pass"
    also, the smile kit advertisement saying your not happy with your smile in a very sneaky way its really disgusting and more people are finding out what exactly they are doing they think we are stupid or as sick as they are there will be lawsuits against these types of psychological attacks

    Don't tell businesses which pay Google to make UA-cam free that people immediately skip past ads and don't buy the product. I spend hours a day on UA-cam and I can't remember a single ad as there are so many. I see it as video loading time. Most people are like this yet ads still happen
