DIY Custom Reclaimed Barn Wood Sign with LED Lights

- Authentic barn wood with a new lease on life as a LED-backed sign. I like the rustic nature of the wood against the bold colors of the LEDs. This is a DIY tutorial where you learn step-by-step my thinking and approach.
Remember that you don't NEED barn wood to make something like this. Use what you have, or find something new and make it look rustic. Either way, the process can be similar and the results will be a striking feature in your room!

That looks pretty fantastic. You’re getting fancier with every passing day!
Thank you! This one took a while to edit but I was trying a few new things here. Appreciate you watching and commenting!
Definitely learn something. Great work.
Thank you!
This has become my favorite new channel! Love Winston and how you show your mistakes. Thank you!
Glad you enjoy it!
Turned out awesome! And you know how much Rob and I like LED backlighting. 🤣
You are my muse 😊
OMG YESSS! This turned out so great & looks so good on camera too! Loved seeing the process from start to finish. ^^
Thank you! Yea I’m happy with this one 😁
AWESOME work
Thank you!
Which LEDS did you use this is awesome
Just bought a pack on Amazon I believe - something with a remote. It wasn't anything fancy, and the pack I bought had the small receiver for the remote signal. Pretty low budget overall.
Outstanding, that sign really looks amazing, I'm wanting to do something similar but mine will hang under a deck roof , over a set of stairs on my deck, just need to figure out how to protect it from elements
Maybe a Total Boat product?
Awesome job with the dowel pins....What's up with your printer. Just because HP stopped supporting it does not mean you can''t use it... UNLLESS...... it's broken
Love the hand made aspect of everything but would also love to see what you can do with a CNC router. They are much more affordable these days for the average DIYer
That's probably my next big purchase item - it's been on my mind for a while, just haven't made that leap yet. Thank you for your comment!
Is that frozen sausage for weight lol just kidding this turned out amazing. Love it
What kind of less did you use? They look of better quality than the ones I've used so far
I honestly don’t remember! - but they would have come from a big box store - color changing with a remote. They would not have been too expensive.
