Best Metal band to emerge in 30 years. ALL Glory to LOVEBITS and all my brothers and sisters in The Wolf Pack everywhere. ALL FOR ONE AND ONE FOR ALL FOREVER MORE!
Asami sings in the low register a lot, but when she goes high, like at the end of this song, she really knocks it out of the park with that powerful voice of hers. I love this song so much, and love her interaction with the crowd too.
It's even better on songs like We The United. There you get to witness the devastating effect of tandem guitar solos. Miyako and Midori play into each other beautifully. If you have a chance, go find it, you will not be disappointed.
Hey John you have seen LOVEBITES before just the 1 song Epilogue with Travis and Suzy but it’s been nearly 6 months since the last reaction to LOVEBITES but it’s nice to see you and dolly get in on the amazing LOVEBITES they have some new songs like Glory to the world and winds of Transylvania both official music videos
this was an amazing wake up call at saturday noon. i remember telling my son that the next time we will see them at one of the big stages in the evening
interesting fact, they became the first (Japanese) female band to perform at Wacken. I think so far, you haven't reviewed their new MV called "Glory To The World" and "Winds Of Transylvania" I hope you add it in the reaction video queue. Thanks, great reaction video
LOVEBITES - Above the Black Sea lyrics: Age of oddities, suffocating with all of these strings pulling me Fit into the mold of this twisted world This is how it's ought to be Worshipped death and flight, sin to live the night Who are you supposed to be Higher and higher, higher than the Heavens Now's the time to pour your blood and heart into the sky Higher and higher, far above the Heavens Go beyond the silent clouds that promise nothing but the end Time to put an end to this nightmare Cause you have no choice in your hands Higher and higher, higher than the Heavens Now's the time to pour your blood and heart into the sky Higher and higher, far above the Heavens Go beyond the silent clouds that promise nothing but the end In a moment I'll fade away As long as he will bring us a new day I will take this in as my fate Just let me leave something proving my life In a moment I'll fade away As long as he will bring you a new day I am thankful this was my fate Just let me leave reason to my life ----- lyrics: asami music: miyako arrangement: LOVEBITES (miho, haruna, midori, miyako, asami)
I've been a fan of lovebites for awhile and their band name actually comes from a cover/demo of halestorms song love bites and so do I hence the name lovebites and this track I do believe is actually about the nuclear bombs dropped on hiromshima and nagasaki these girls are actually amazing love the reaction
You really want to be AMAZED ( again ) with The way those lady are going really far with the new group composition ? Just listen and react to the new Lovebites EP check out "Where's Identity" New sond and new way of making metal .Enjoy.
I am pretty sure the wolf hunterz have reacted to this band band before. Took you a while to get back to Lovebites and that is probably why you can't remember them. In any case, nice reaction 👍
Possibly their worst performance of this song (still great even with all the mistakes), but it was also very early in their career! If you can find a performance from Daughters of the Dawn, I highly recommend that one (or even the studio version). They are very well practiced and it shows because all of their most recent performances are next to flawless.
Intense is right, Dolly - the song is about a World War 2 Japanese Kamikaze pilot. As he nears his target, he knows he is doomed - whether he follows orders by sacrificing himself to complete his mission, or if he doesn't and is executed as a coward. He is hoping that he will be remembered for something other than this terrible act. They also do two songs about the atomic bombing of Japan - "The Apocalypse" and "Under The Red Sky". The band are not shy about confronting Japanese history.
you don't know what you're talking about you are confusing bloodstock with Waken. dude you are always saying some off key stuff and it's quite obvious you make this stuff up, put up or shut up
@@salsaucedo oh the freak with the attitude that puts down people that react to lovebites like you represent them instead of admitting you just want to feel supierior to others even though your knowledge as well as everyones is limited to what you find on line I knew you'd pop up after I pointed out your madness and anger issue ]:P good thing for me I don't listen to fools online that give themselves more importance than they are worth- I won't fight with you that wouldn't be fair to go to a battle of the wits with an unarmed man. ]:P
It's not optimal, but the sound of their Wacken performances isn't too bad I would say. Wacken has always been a bit hit and miss when it comes to sound.
@@cepho8349 reply I agree the Tokyo concerts are the best in my opinion for sound yes I was mistaking Wakken for Bloodstock as mentioned by someone else but I also don't live accross the pond so am not as familiar with the 2 places and how they differ.
The Wacken show could have sounded better, but I don't expect the sound to be the equivalent of Nightwish's 2013 performance. LOVEBITES was on a side stage and only played five songs. Sadly, they weren't going to have the best sound. It's still a fun performance, though.
these ladies are world class talent and they deserve worldwide recognition

They did it
Enjoyed the reaction. But John, you've reacted to this band before with Travis, Suzi, and your "cup of Joe". It was there song "Epilogue".
you're right! This was the first time for me and dolly together! That was a fun reaction with Travis and Suzi! You remembered!!!

Very Gary Moore in that intro solo.
Miyako is a huge Gary Moore fan

they're not ready for 'Winds of Transylvania'
7:41 Rachmaninoff ? Miyako loves to put some famous phrases of classical music into their songs....))
YES!
「Above The Black Sea」Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto No2
「Under The Red Sky」 Rachmaninoff Symphony No2
Love love all of you guys from wolf hunterz for reactions.... fantastic work
LOVEBITES - Above the Black Sea lyrics:
Age of oddities, suffocating with all of these strings pulling me
Fit into the mold of this twisted world
This is how it's ought to be
Worshipped death and flight, sin to live the night
Who are you supposed to be
Higher and higher, higher than the Heavens
Now's the time to pour your blood and heart into the sky
Higher and higher, far above the Heavens
Go beyond the silent clouds that promise nothing but the end
Time to put an end to this nightmare
Cause you have no choice in your hands
Higher and higher, higher than the Heavens
Now's the time to pour your blood and heart into the sky
Higher and higher, far above the Heavens
Go beyond the silent clouds that promise nothing but the end
In a moment I'll fade away
As long as he will bring us a new day
I will take this in as my fate
Just let me leave something proving my life
In a moment I'll fade away
As long as he will bring you a new day
I am thankful this was my fate
Just let me leave reason to my life

Now we wait for them to react to Swan Song live but with intro of course. That one will really blow their brains haha
They did it on their channel
Listen to that bass of Miho, it's crushing 🤟

the only live performances you should react to for Lovebites are the ones at Zepp Divercity
React NEMOPHILA, Monster, Oiran, Dissension, Kurenai, etc

I totally disagree, this is the best one I have seen on YT. Which one is better?

miyaco is the daughter of petrucci
It's not a positive song, Jon. Read the lyrics. It's heartbreaking. What I think you mean is that they never sacrifice melody.
This song about one Kamikaze 's sacrifice!
Hi React to SHOW-YA 1 band female to Heavy Metal Japanese (Fairy, Look at Me, Battle Express, etc)
In my opinion Love bites is 50 times better than nightwish
I recently found out that Above The Black Sea is about the kamikaze pilots of WWII
unfortunately the sound people messed up at Wacken the stuff done in Tokyo is a ton better and more even sound wise.
