- My first real attempt at a Compilation video, wanted to do one of my favourite Two Best Friends LPs.
I wanted to preserve as much footage as I could (mostly Boss Fights), which explains the extreme length of the video.

The best part is that, during the initial LP, I, in real life, also said "what!?" between Matt and Pat's. The players, the viewers, and the character were all equally baffled by Armstrong's speech.

That scene where Raiden cleans and then sheathes Sam's sword always gets to me.
He respected Sam enough as a warrior to do that for him.
Always makes this cynical, angry, tired old heart feel something.
The fact that Raiden didn't slice him into 200 parts like every other enemy he's faced until now also shows how much he respected Sam.
Just a clean stab to the heart, a great end to a good old fashioned duel between two samurai-ninja-cowboy men.

On ghandi in Civ, his warmongering was the result of an 'peace' stat looping around (since they applied max value in the code). This stat was beyond the maximum they allowed, so it looped onto the other end of the spectum and became extremely warlike.
Specifically, Ghandi's peace stat started at ten at the beginning of Civ II, but once a person adopted Democracy, they gain a point in the peace stat. However, since Ghandi had a ten already, it overflowed to 1. Later games fixed this, but as a homage, made his willingness to use nukes the maximum it will go.
It's an underflow by 2 on agression - it goes from 1 to 255. Out of 10.
I don't care what anyone says this will always be my favorite MG game. God this needs a sequel.

They could, just let Platinum do their thing, just like they did here, Kojima’s involvement with this game was at a bear minimum and with how he wanted out by mgs2 there’s really no need to bother him to come back again, Plat has shown that they can do right by MGS and it’s characters. But Konami is for the most part done with major AAA titles as they make 10x more in their gambling venues, but a guy can dream.
Just a reminder that Jack totally had a knife he could've used the whole game but never did.
I woulda loved backhanded knife combos for light attacks, sword for heavy.
I personally believe that any and all UGs fought to Rules of Nature are using the same mind of that RAY at the start, so when the GRAD reconfigures into bipedal mode it's just like "I'M BACK, IN POG FORM"

As goofy as Armstrong’s nano machines son stuff is, honestly the codec about it makes it Actually pretty rad. Armstrong doesn’t just have nano machines in his body, his entire body is made of nano machines that can harden into a metallic structure at will. On top of that he can also absorb nano machines into his body to replace any that he’s lost. Its still pretty fuckin goofy but its also kinda rad.

You do the big "I can't beat this guy!" fight at the start, and its obvious he has like super armor, instant reflecting bs.
But luckily Raiden picks up that skill, *super fast* and then you become the instant reflecting bs master.

Something really cool about the final fight music is if you drop your sword the lyrics stop playing. And there is a part of the Peacekeeper theme in it.

Chris Koloski I think what they are referring to is, they don't get a lot of marketing, so initial release sales tend to be fairly lackluster compared to large studio title releases. Maybe not so much now that they've gained some traction, like with Nier Automata, peeps seemed pretty hyped for it. Don't know if initial sales were higher than their normal though.
You should look at one of they're earlier games before they we're known as Platinum called God Hand, unfortunately IGN review bombed it and it never got the recognition it deserved
But they never sell, I think Astral Chain is doing alright but none of their games sell NEARLY enough copies

I was originally going to do the DLC as well, but they don't need to be cut. their length is perfect.
theres still 20% or 30% commentary that just drags over the episodes.
for you its perfect, but i wish i could sit back and watch the best bits from part 1 of story mode to the final parts of the the dlc.
