I've just added a new second lathe to my workshop and need to add some new scrapers, I wonder who is bringing out a new range🤔😄. Daughter -in-law is adding some of my pieces to sell at her craft stand at a number of events over the next few weeks, I might actually make some money back, so I'm busy making things, it will be interesting to see what sells.
Wow a lot of work but now the bumpy road you’ve all been on will start to level out- I’m glad as you said the children are happy it must be a weight off both you and your wife to know you have the support of your mum and brother to ease the way forward for you all. Well, there your are! a rought month but surely an important step to move forward. You have done a great job in a very short period of time. I understand your questioning about the white, in my shop it is very hard to keep it bright with the wood dust that always remains. I am envious of your dust extractor outside, I cannot do it here (In Quebec our winters are really cold) and my neighboors woulp surely complain for the noise (even in a small enclosed room that would surely not be accepted by the citie's urban rules). Same for my air compressor that is stil more noisy! Rest somehow a little bit, it's necessary to stay in shape longer. Home sweet home for your family, Great!

WOW! Tomislav, you have done so much work since we last saw your new space. Very well done to all that helped you. So much to do, and to make your new home something lovely to live in. You must have a very undersanding wife, I hope she will be happy with the new place when it is all fixed up. It certainly is good that you can do all the work yourself, and what a good job you are making of it. I like the black paint with the natural wood, but it is a very good idea to paint some walls white, just to make the place look lighter, especially during to long dark winder days. When I had a lumpy and bumpy period I was told "The Blue Sky is always there, its just some days are cloudy and it hides" Now you have a new workshop you can go in there on the cloudy days and make Blue skies for your followers who will thank you and support you as they try to turn bits of wood into more bits of wood😊

Never have I seen so much work accomplished so quickly by so few. You and your family are amazing. I wish that we could send pictures to you on UA-cam. When I first got the shop I have now I painted the ceiling white and painted one wall. Then I decided I prefer the bare wood so three walls are natural brown. Woodturners just like wood to look the way it is 😊 We are all looking forward to finding out what is in the boxes! Thank you for taking time to show us how things are going.
You are progressing well! The saying here is "happy wife, happy life" I'm glad you are in more comfortable surroundings. That will make all of your work have more energy. I recently traded a stack of oak lumber for a stack of freshly cut hardwood log sections. That was exhausting for an old guy like me. I can't imagine what your family must feel after moving an entire shop AND household! I'm looking forward to your shop tour!

Thank you soo much 🤗 Its next door dog but she really like my older boy, she would screem anytime she sees him.... Its a upgrade for sure, a bit more space but a two separate level shop really makes separeting work easy and efficient.... Can't wait to finish electrical work to be back in bussiness.... That could be early next week so if you need anything or decided on whats next order I'll be gladly start first order in new shop 😀...you shall have the honors☺️

I bet you are exhausted after the move. People do not realize how hard it is to set up a shop and have everything correct the first time. I know I have made major changes at least 3 times over the past 15 years. As your work changes the shop has to grow and change. So, don't stress as long as you can work comfortably and have most of your tools close to the work area. Great job so far.
