A humerus fracture is a break of the humerus bone in the upper arm. Symptoms may include pain, swelling, and bruising. There may be a decreased ability to move the arm and the person may present holding their elbow.
The humerus is the long bone in your upper arm. When broken it needs specialised care so that you can cope with the problems it brings. It will take a minimum of 12 weeks to heal.
A fracture of any of the bones in the shoulder can greatly impair your mobility and cause severe pain. Shoulder fractures occur as a result of trauma or injury to the shoulder from a fall, sports injury, car accident or any direct blow to the shoulder.

Sir I'm 19. Went through an accident in which my shoulder dislocated and there was a fracture in proximal humerus. Last week I went through a surgery in which they fixed a plate. There's one question in my mind that can that shoulder be dislocated again? And also sir can you release a video of exercises patients of such surgery should do after surgery. Like, surgery ke kitne time baad krni hai, sling ko kitna time rkhna hai, konsi movements avoid krni h. 🙏🏼

@@MaverTech no bro it wasn't painfull at all. The surgery went good. Yes post surgery, few days went difficult as shoulder couldn't hold its own weigth but then it becomes better with the time. It's about two n half months since i went through surgery. Now I'm feeling good man. I can do day to day work properly. Yes will regain full range of motion in few more months bro. So nothing to worry about !

I broke my Proximal humerus 5 days back, Injury is two part but doctors in bone and joint hospital advised me that if they will go for surgery that might damage the remaining fixed but broken pieces.
I'm 20 years old I met with an accident,Now I'm in dilemma will this bone heal upon its own just by using braces or not...
