بھائی جان اللہ کی باتیں صرف قران کو سمجھنے اور تدبر کرنے سے ہی سمجھ آتی ہیں جو میں گذشتہ 14 سے 15 سال سے اپنی زاتی فلاح کے لئے کر رہا ہوں اور اس نتیجہ پر پہنچا ہوں کہ انسانی لکھی گئی عرب کہانیاں اور حدیثیں اور روایات سب ٹارزن کی کہانیاں ہیں جن کا حقیقت اور قران کریم سے دور کا بھی تعلق نہیں بنتا اور نہ ہی کتاب میں 14 سو سال پہلے والے من گھڑت عرب بیسڈ قصے کہانیوں کا کوئی ذکر پایا جاتا ہے۔ تمام فرقوں نے قران مجید کے ترجموں میں بھی بریکٹوں میں اپنے اضافی الفاظ لگا کر اصل عربی جملے کو چینج کیا ہوا ہے جناب شیخ صاحب پہلے مسلم سکالر ہیں جو قران مجید کو اپنی زاتی کہانی یا لوگوں کے بتائی اور لکھی حدیثوں سے ہٹ کر کلام اللہ کے خالص ترجمہ بیان کرتے ہیں جو میرے زاتی علم القران کے مطابق عین درست ترجمے ہیں۔ اللہ تعالٰی کی بات آج کرنا بڑی ہمت اور حوصلہ کی بات ہے میں شیخ صاحب کی کوششوں کا اس لئے قائل ہوں اس مناظرے پر غور کریں تو آپ دیکھیں کہ شیخ صاحب حاوی ہیں کیونکہ کلام اللہ کا سامنا کرنے میں مفتی صاحب کی زبان لڑکھڑاتی صاف نظر آ رہی ہے اور مفتی صاحب کھل کر حدیث کی کتابوں کا زکر کرے سے اجتناب کر رہے ہیں کیونکہ اندر سے انہیں بھی معلوم ہے کہ وہ انسانوں کی تخلیق ہیں قران مجید کو بھائی جان خود پڑھیں اور سمجھیں اسی سے حساب ہے اور اسی پر ہمارا عمل ہے محمد صلی اللہ علیہ والہ وسلم اور ان کے صحابہ کی 14 سو پہلے کی عرب کہانیوں کا قران کریم میں کوئی وجود نہیں ہے اور اگر ہے بھی تو وہ مترجم نے بریکٹس میں اپنی طرف سے اضافی الفاظ لگا کر کیا ہوا ہے سعودی عرب تو 2022 میں ہی سرکاری طور حدیث کی تمام کتب کو فیک اور جھوٹا قرار دے چکا ہے Please google 'Cancellation of Hadith by Saudi Arabia' حلانکہ حدیثوں کے خالق بھی یہی عرب لوگ تھے ہمارے اور دیگر ہمارے جیسے اسلامی ممالک میں اس سعودی اقدام کو سرکاری اور مزہبی حلقوں میں عوام سے اس لئے چھپایا جا رہا ہے کیونکہ ہمارے تمام زیلی مسلم فرقوں کی بنیاد اور تخلیق ہی حدیثوں کی کتب سے ہے ان کا وجود بھی برقرار نہیں رہ سکے گا جبکہ قران کریم میں اللہ تعالٰی مسلمانوں کا صرف ایک ہی فرقہ کا زکر کرتے ہیں اور وہ 'فرقہ ابراہیمی علیہ السلام' ہے۔ واللہ اعلم بصواب ⚘

This discussion is pointing out how most or all translations of the book of Allah, either don't translate all words and or insert words in the translation which do not exist in the original Arabic text. I hope that helps.
Sheikh Mohammad's arguments are very strong, many scholars have confused the original meaning of the book by inserting many new words in the translation (Tarjuma) of Quran Sharif. Sheikh Mohammad Sahab has a great hold on the Arabic language. Very good discussion.

The problem with this debate is that the sheikh doesn't care about historical, archaeological, or linguistic backing of the Qur'an. He, in his lack of proper training in classical Arabic, has misinterpreted the verses of the Qur'an and kept himself ignorant of the natural and scriptural history of the context of the revelation of those verses and quite stubbornly so because of which Abdel Baqy seems to have no impact on him. A simple comparison of facts with everything sheikh claims in the whole video shows that the sheikh is massively deviated from the reality and interprets the Qur'an according to his whims and more often than not horribly falls incorrect.

My two cents: First, I appreciate Shaikh's honesty in declaring that he can't speak Arabic, learned and understood Qur'aan through translations. That is an achievement. Personally, I have been in the same boat and learnt Qur'aan's Arabic through various translations of Qur'aan in Urdu and English. It is obvious that the guidance came from Allah and I could understand Qur'aan in Arabic. Now I can explain the verses of Qur'aan easily through Qur'aan's Arabic. While the Mufti did not refute and did not explain anything, he was asking Shaikh repeatedly to prove and Shaikh was bulldozing all the way through, even knowing or perhaps not registering that he was wrong on many points. It is quite clear that M. Shaikh was engaged in verbal gymnastics or playing semantics. It is important to know that literal translations (word by word) may not give the true meanings of a word or a sentence. There are deeper meanings. I am unable to comment on the entire video but would like to point out a few instances where M. Shaikh is wrong: a. 5:43 "وَكَيْفَ يُحَكِّمُونَكَ" has nothing to do with 'Haakim', 'hukum' or 'hukumat'. It simply means: How can they ask you for decision or how can they ask to judge? b. Kitaab means book in Arabic but it means revelations or scripture in Qur'aan. No prophet came with a book in his hands. Various words are used like Alwaah (tablets) laser-cut by Allah for Moses, 'Suhuf' meaning revelations or scripture revealed to Ibrahim and Moses. Qur'aan has also been referred too as "Zikr". c. Most of the words in translations are every translators' own choice, but the message must remain the same. For example, "We have not sent you but as a mercy to the mankind" is a literal translation and can simply be written as "We have sent you as a mercy to the mankind" in contemporary English. Meaning is the same. d. Shaikh is right on the point that Taurath (Torah in Hebrew) was not given to Moses. It was given to various prophets, with which they judged and decided matters. The Jews call the first 5 books of their Tanakh (The Holy Scriptures) as the Torah. Allah did not give all the 5 books to Moses. e. Shaikh is right on the point that Taurath (Torah) is the Law given by Allah. Muslim translators have not translated teh word but the Jews translate the Hebrew word as the Law. f. The argument on Nazil ilaina and Nazil alaina: Qur'aan was revealed to the Prophet and through him it was revealed to us. But we cannot say that it was revealed to us on 'Nazil" upon us. There was no need for Shaikh to play semantics here. g. Muslims are NOT Bani Israel. Bani Israel refers only to the descendants of Jacob (Yaqub) and his twelve sons. The Jews came from his son Judah. All may find it interesting to read Genesis 38, which looks like a story (Hadith) coming from some tribal scribe and inserted in the Bible. Neither our dear Prophet nor the Quraish came from the line of Yaqub and his sons. Hence, we cannot be called Bani Israel. Shaikh was wrong on this point. h. Shaikh was also wrong on the word "Ummi". Ummi means ignorant, illiterate, unlettered and unschooled. It has nothing to do with mother. The word "Ummi" stands on its own. i. "Baina yadaihi" literally means "between two hands" but it simply means "before it". Arabic phrases have to be understood. Qur'aan does not have two hands. Shaikh got it wrong. There was verbal gymnastics on that point. Qur'aan verifies only the truth in the past scriptures, in Arabic. And those scriptures came long before Qur'aan. In my humble opinion, it was no debate. One was asking to prove and the other was bulldozing his way. Salaams, everyone.

جو میں گذشتہ 14 سے 15 سال سے اپنی زاتی فلاح کے لئے کر رہا ہوں اور اس نتیجہ پر پہنچا ہوں کہ انسانی لکھی گئی عرب کہانیاں اور حدیثیں اور روایات سب ٹارزن کی کہانیاں ہیں جن کا حقیقت اور قران کریم سے دور کا بھی تعلق نہیں بنتا اور نہ ہی کتاب میں 14 سو سال پہلے والے من گھڑت عرب بیسڈ قصے کہانیوں کا کوئی ذکر پایا جاتا ہے۔
تمام فرقوں نے قران مجید کے ترجموں میں بھی بریکٹوں میں اپنے اضافی الفاظ لگا کر اصل عربی جملے کو چینج کیا ہوا ہے
جناب شیخ صاحب پہلے مسلم سکالر ہیں جو قران مجید کو اپنی زاتی کہانی یا لوگوں کے بتائی اور لکھی حدیثوں سے ہٹ کر کلام اللہ کے خالص ترجمہ بیان کرتے ہیں جو میرے زاتی علم القران کے مطابق عین درست ترجمے ہیں۔

This discussion is pointing out how most or all translations of the book of Allah, either don't translate all words and or insert words in the translation which do not exist in the original Arabic text.

Sheikh Mohammad's arguments are very strong, many scholars have confused the original meaning of the book by inserting many new words in the translation (Tarjuma) of Quran Sharif. Sheikh Mohammad Sahab has a great hold on the Arabic language.

2۔ کونسی کتاب؟
3۔ اگر کتاب سے مراد قرآن مجید ہے تو کیا تمام انبیاء پر یہی قرآن مجید نازل ہوا یا مختلف؟
4۔ اگر یہی قرآن مجید تو کیا آیات بھی ہوبہو یہی ہیں یا مختلف آیات؟
5۔ اگر تمام انبیاء پر یہی قرآن مجید ہو بہو انہی آیات کے ساتھ نازل ہوا تو جب ان انبیاء پر سورۃ 33 احزاب کی آیت 37 نازل ہوئی جس میں زید کو بیان کیا گیا ہے تو یہ زید کون ہے؟
6۔ تمام انبیاء زید سے کیا سمجھے؟
7۔ یہ زید نامی شخص ان تمام انبیاء کے ساتھ کیسے موجود تھے؟
8۔ اگر زید سے مراد صحابی رسول اللہ زید بن حارث ہیں تو زید بن حارث ہر زمانے میں ان تمام انبیاء کے ساتھ کیسے موجود تھے؟
9۔ اس آیت میں اللہ تعالیٰ کس سے مخاطب ہیں؟
10۔ رسول کریم صل اللہ علیہ والہ وسلم سے یا کسی اور نبی یا رسول سے؟
11۔ رسول(نبی) اور زید کے علاوہ جس عورت کا ذکر کیا گیا ہے اس آیت میں وہ کون ہیں؟
12۔ اس آیت کا ترجمہ کیا ہے؟
13۔ یہ آیت کیوں نازل ہوئی؟
14۔ اس آیت میں ہمیں کیا سکھایا جا رہا ہے؟
15۔ کسی کام کو کرنے کا حکم ہے یا ممانعت؟
ان سب سوالات کے جوابات صرف قرآن سے ثابت کریں کیونکہ شیخ صاحب باقی تراجم، تفاسیر اور احادیث رسول اکرم کو مانتے نہیں ہیں۔ یہ سوالات صرف ایک آیت کے حوالے سے ہیں۔ابھی اور بہت سے سوالات ہیں۔ جزاک اللہ!

I listened to this debate and I was able to accept Mohammad Shaikh’s point that Allah’s book is only one and it’s given to all the prophets.
So when I see comments from people like you, I wonder if your real issue is that you just don’t enough intellectual prowess to under such simple ideas because they go against your programming.
So I will ask you to just prove one of your points from Quran that prophets were given different books.

اور جب ان (کافروں) سے کہا جاتا ہے کہ اس کلام کی پیروی کرو جو اللہ نے اتارا ہے تو وہ کہتے ہیں کہ نہیں ! ہم تو ان باتوں کی پیروی کریں گے جن پر ہم نے اپنے باپ دادوں کو پایا ہے۔ بھلا کیا اس صورت میں بھی (ان کو یہی چاہیے) جب ان کے باپ دادے (دین کی) ذرا بھی سمجھ نہ رکھتے ہوں، اور انہوں نے کوئی (آسمانی) ہدایت بھی حاصل نہ کی ہو ؟

This video is very Informative and full of Knowledge no doubt. Muhammad Sheikh sb was discussing Quran and Allah Pak whereas Mufti sbi was preferring people (Ulemah) upon Quran again and again. I wish to meet Muhammad Sheikh sb but Allah knows better how can i meet him. Either it is possible or not in my life. First time in my life i have found such a person who is preaching the true spirit of Quran. The problem with this debate is that the sheikh doesn't care about historical, archaeological, or linguistic backing of the Qur'an. He, in his lack of proper training in classical Arabic, has misinterpreted the verses of the Qur'an and kept himself ignorant of the natural and scriptural history of the context of the revelation of those verses and quite stubbornly so because of which Abdel Baqy seems to have no impact on him.
A simple comparison of facts with everything sheikh claims in the whole video shows that the sheikh is massively deviated from the reality and interprets the Qur'an according to his whims and more often than not horribly falls incorrect.

My two cents:
First, I appreciate Shaikh's honesty in declaring that he can't speak Arabic, learned and understood Qur'aan through translations. That is an achievement. Personally, I have been in the same boat and learnt Qur'aan's Arabic through various translations of Qur'aan in Urdu and English. It is obvious that the guidance came from Allah and I could understand Qur'aan in Arabic. Now I can explain the verses of Qur'aan easily through Qur'aan's Arabic.
While the Mufti did not refute and did not explain anything, he was asking Shaikh repeatedly to prove and Shaikh was bulldozing all the way through, even knowing or perhaps not registering that he was wrong on many points.
It is quite clear that M. Shaikh was engaged in verbal gymnastics or playing semantics.
It is important to know that literal translations (word by word) may not give the true meanings of a word or a sentence. There are deeper meanings.
I am unable to comment on the entire video but would like to point out a few instances where M. Shaikh is wrong:
a. 5:43 "وَكَيْفَ يُحَكِّمُونَكَ" has nothing to do with 'Haakim', 'hukum' or 'hukumat'. It simply means: How can they ask you for decision or how can they ask to judge?
b. Kitaab means book in Arabic but it means revelations or scripture in Qur'aan. No prophet came with a book in his hands. Various words are used like Alwaah (tablets) laser-cut by Allah for Moses, 'Suhuf' meaning revelations or scripture revealed to Ibrahim and Moses. Qur'aan has also been referred too as "Zikr".
c. Most of the words in translations are every translators' own choice, but the message must remain the same. For example, "We have not sent you but as a mercy to the mankind" is a literal translation and can simply be written as "We have sent you as a mercy to the mankind" in contemporary English. Meaning is the same.
d. Shaikh is right on the point that Taurath (Torah in Hebrew) was not given to Moses. It was given to various prophets, with which they judged and decided matters. The Jews call the first 5 books of their Tanakh (The Holy Scriptures) as the Torah. Allah did not give all the 5 books to Moses.
e. Shaikh is right on the point that Taurath (Torah) is the Law given by Allah. Muslim translators have not translated teh word but the Jews translate the Hebrew word as the Law.
f. The argument on Nazil ilaina and Nazil alaina: Qur'aan was revealed to the Prophet and through him it was revealed to us. But we cannot say that it was revealed to us on 'Nazil" upon us. There was no need for Shaikh to play semantics here.
g. Muslims are NOT Bani Israel. Bani Israel refers only to the descendants of Jacob (Yaqub) and his twelve sons. The Jews came from his son Judah. All may find it interesting to read Genesis 38, which looks like a story (Hadith) coming from some tribal scribe and inserted in the Bible.
Neither our dear Prophet nor the Quraish came from the line of Yaqub and his sons. Hence, we cannot be called Bani Israel. Shaikh was wrong on this point.
h. Shaikh was also wrong on the word "Ummi". Ummi means ignorant, illiterate, unlettered and unschooled. It has nothing to do with mother. The word "Ummi" stands on its own.
i. "Baina yadaihi" literally means "between two hands" but it simply means "before it". Arabic phrases have to be understood. Qur'aan does not have two hands. Shaikh got it wrong. There was verbal gymnastics on that point.
Qur'aan verifies only the truth in the past scriptures, in Arabic. And those scriptures came long before Qur'aan.
In my humble opinion, it was no debate. One was asking to prove and the other was bulldozing his way.
