A proximal humerus fracture is a break of the upper part of the bone of the arm. Symptoms include pain, swelling, and a decreased ability to move the shoulder. Complications may include axillary nerve or axillary artery injury. The cause is generally a fall onto the arm or direct trauma to the arm.
Most proximal humerus fractures heal in about three months. During the first three weeks you may feel the fracture fragments shift as you move your arm

I have a humeral fracture at the shoulder, but the sling they gave me let my arm fall out, even though I put a gauze strip around it to keep it down. I was constantly trying to fix it so my elbow was in the corner, because it didn’t fit properly. I’m 4’ 9”, and I don’t think the hospital had a better one. Also, No one told me to keep my whole arm supported while I slept, so sometimes, it fell out and I was on my side.
Now it’s healing wrong and I have a tear and my shoulder is out of socket. This was 2 months ago, and I’m waiting another 10 days to go back for the last time, even though it’s not healing correctly.
I don’t understand why they didn’t immobilize my upper arm and shoulder!!

Sir shoulder joint fractured and dislocated. Doctors operated it through k wire and plate dali gai hai. Four months passed but I can't hold my arm in front movement and side movement. Hello my friend! I also had a fall on Sep 10th - dislocating the shoulder and fracturing the greater tuberosity. The fractured piece of bone was detached so they said I required surgery. Had surgery yesterday Sep 22 to reattach the bone with screws. Wishing you the all the best from America.

Sir, almost 5,6 years ago i fell down from motor cycle and my shoulder head was broken and dislocated. Doctor put down plaster on it. When opened plaster and made xray. The shoulder came down and doctor provided me sling belt. Later on, i went to local doctor who fixed the shoulder and plastered it. Sir my shoulder was stiffed. Thèrefore, i went to local doctor before 5 days who after injunction opened it but when xray it came down because the fixed piece of born not leaving the head into the socket. Sir plz advice me what can i do.

My question is here that can I join gym with the plates in my bone?? Or should I remove these plates by surgery and then join the gym??

Shuro ke hafte aur maheene critical hote hain, aapko arm ko sling me rakhna chahiye pehle several weeks me. A big warning agar aap smoke karte hain to please na karen, smokers ko average se 62% tak ka time ziyada lagta hai bone ko heal hone me versus un logon ke jo smoke nai karte.
