I think the a6000 is for me. I don't care for 4k video at all, and I don't care for slow MO video at all. The difference in price makes the a6000 a much more appealing camera for me
You are absolutely right. The improvement to the still capability is not worth the extra cost. I am very disappointed with the this new one because I am not interested in video and held off getting an A6000
+CactuarKnight I understand what you are saying, but there were more improvements than just video improvements: - better autofocus system - improved EVF - better body build (magnesium-alloy vs plastic) - and a few more I cannot think of at the moment It is really up to you if it is worth it or not. If I already had an a6000 I probably would have waited a year or so to get the a6300 once the price comes down a little bit. However, I have been needing a new camera for a long time (coming from a very old Canon 20D) so the a6300 was very attractive to me. I have had it for a week and it is an incredible camera. You cannot go wrong with either camera though. I have used my buddy's a6000 and it is great too!
Let me give you guys a piece of advice. The price for the a6300 is more than double now, is it worth it? in my opinion no if your a normal person with average/normal use.... Its not a revolution when we compare the price differences. Innovation in the camera world is changing so fast lately, that we will see some interesting cameras in the near future. Thats why i say go with the a6000, and wait for the next generation cameras that will come within a couple years.
Which Canon are you upgrading from? I'm looking at the 10-18/4 and the 16-70/4 lenses to start with. I've got an old (like 8-9 years) 1D mark II n today :) It's big and heavy too.
Which one is better for Milky Way astrophotography helpme choose please,. Thank you

I am having a huge issue with my A6300 recording having this hum sound. I have watched tons of videos that tell you how to adjust the camera to get rid of this hum but I am not sure what the issue might be. I have a ring light and 3 fovitec box lights for my recording set up. If you might know how to fix this, please let me know.
I love my a6000 also. Haven't felt the need to upgrade to the a6300 and think it's still a perfect camera for my needs, especially travel and street work as you mentioned!
Dr23rippa Nobody talks about lenses that someone must buy also for the camera. Everything change then. Lenses, quantity, quality, and especially price play the most important role when choosing a new camera. I have seen dozzens of youtube videos and nobody talks for camera and lenses like a package. They still live in the 80s when a mechanical camera was an investment for years to come. Now the newest camera becomes obsolate after 2-3 years. Camera manufacturers must understand it also and lower the price. Allready many prefer their smartphone camera than buying something only for photos.
I watch your video for long time, since you talk about HX90V and RX100 mark 4, my RX100 m4 was broken, so I just bought a6300 yesterday, and... as you know I like big aperture and small size of body. now I have F3.5-5.6 16-50mm lens, But I feel much darker then F1.8 on RX100, also no much money to buy expensive lens, what lens I should get for good bokeh and take photo for people? I like 24mm F1.8, but too expensive, so any lens have wide view? and can take F1.8? why no any lens like RX100 of 24-70 F1.8 for the A6300? why the 24mm F1.8 so expensive, I hope have the same lens just like my RX100, then will be so nice. do you have any idea? please tell me? thank you so much!
Yes, but even better, but still can't zoom like RX100, F1.8-2.8 24-70 zoom lens is the best, but still don't have for a6300, so sad. and F2.8 24mm-70 so expensive, I don't understand why they don't make it.
RX100 3/4 is F4.8-F8 35mm equivalent all else being equal (it is not though). You can learn about equivalence elsewhere. The F2.8 24-70 for 35mm is kinda big already? If you want F1.8 24-70 for 35mm, it would probably double in size and quadruple the price. They can make it but you're going to trade portability and at the moment, I really value portability. Different strokes for different folks
hi, do you have a link to a lens for the 6300. im mainly going to be taking pictures only and of sunsets, beaches and other parts of nature. zoom is extremely important so i dont need anyting extreme but at lest 20x should be good
Great review. Appreciate your hard work! The a6300 is a slight upgrade over a6000 in terms of specs. a6300 offers 4k and a6000 is lighter. I can't justify spending that much more for a6000. In the end, it all comes down to how much you want to spend.
Apparently the rolling shutter on on the 6300 makes it unusable for video according to the "Bokeh" youtube channel. I simply can't believe that though. Can you comment on the rolling shutter? Thanks for the comparison. Just picked up the a6000 for my girlfriend. Can't wait to put it through it's paces!
I own an SLT-57 and it still does a lot for what the cody cost ($450). So I have several A-mount lenses. I need a backup camera for gigs as well as something small I can backpack with for shooting video AND landscapes. I think the 6300 is awesome but why would I choose that over an RX10 that does pretty much all of the same, and even more with slow motion? Considering it has that awesome zeiss lens affixed to it means you'd have to spend $600+ on a lens that could compete with it. Am I wrong? I haven't see the new RX10ii but on paper it looks awesome too. Sony almost has too many options.
I am trading in my 60D and seven lenses. Picking up this 6300 and the 85 1.4 [for now]. Been waiting/debating for a year, and it is time for me to switch.
+John Campbell awesome...just curious what made u decide to take the plunge so to speak LOL. I got the A6000 a couple weeks ago and loved it...so I returned it last week to get the A6300 which I received yesterday yay!
+Tiffany SouthernSweety I inherited the Canon stuff about three years ago, and I've been watching Sony race ahead of the pack. I realized I was going to take a huge hit on selling my stuff and couldn't justify the cost [even though I've outgrown the camera two years ago]. Right now, when I sell it all, I can transition to the camera/lens I mentioned for almost no cost out of pocket. I'm going to lose some versatility with my lens selections [going from seven to one], but it will open other doors for me - 4K video and low-light stills, specifically.
+John Campbell adding the 85 f1.4 while an awesome lens you would be no where getting the the benefits of such a lens on the a6000 or the a6300 its really designed for the a7r mkII neither of the a600 or a6300 resolve the resolution that lens can do just look at DXOmark and take the high end lenses and see how they preform on the a7's then look at how they really drop of in quality when put on the apsc bodies sony lenses designed for apsc out preform them

Awesome awesome video!.. I myself am stuck on which of the two I should buy and am beginning to see I should really go play with both cameras in person, side by side. it's a tough one for me but awesome vid nonetheless, keep em coming! Thanks
Love these cameras . Only think i dont like is the record button its so small and mounted in a strange place .

Should I get the a6300 with the 16-50 mm considering I already have the 30 mm Macro, 55-210mm and the Nex-5's 18-55mm or the a7ii? I'm making videos but photography stills important and will I benefit the full frame sensor in the 2 world? The 5 axis is very appealing but slowmo (Twixtor), and 4k... Hard to choose...
+Alexandre Châteauneuf If you have the 18-55 kit I wouldn't bother with the 16-50. I have both the 5n and a6000 and the lenses are pretty comparible (other than the zoom factor). I would go for the body only and buy the 18-105G
@TheDigitalDigest I recently purchased the a6300 and was taking a video in 4k, after recording I noticed the camera had split the file into smaller files all which were 4.19GB in size. Is this normal for this camera? I am new to this field and have previously only ever taken video with the camera on my smartphone which keeps the file in a single file. Thanks
hi, do you have a link to a lens for the 6300. im mainly going to be taking pictures only and of sunsets, beaches and other parts of nature. zoom is extremely important so i dont need anyting extreme but at lest 20x should be good
i have the NEX 6 and i haven't found any reason to upgrade to the a6000 or even the A6300 for that matter. If i were to upgrade id go for the A7 a few years from now
You can charge the a6000 with a power brick. You can't operate while the a6000 is charging but you can't operate the a6000 while the camera is plugged into the wall either. In Tony Northrups review, he mention the convenience of charging the a6000 with a mini power pack via USB.
Is the magnification of the viewfinder different? Or is it just higher resolution? Because I think the a6000's viewfinder image is too physically small
any competitors to the 6300 other than the G7(price wise)? The 6300 hundred for me is a perfect camera, the only thing that bothers me is the overheating after 20-30 mins in 4k.
This is such a big Dilemma for me, because filming is my priority and I just can't afford the 6300 :D My mind is telling me, that the 6300 is still an option but I would have to work for at least another year to get it... Looks like I have to stick 1080p60 for a while.
Shi Womino Yeah, I am very pleased with my a6000, it does it's job very well and XAVC is awesome. 1080p is more than enough and nearly every lens produces good images in this low resolution. The only thing bothering me is the frame rate. I would have liked those extra fps for nice slo mos..
Do you still the Sony A 6300 is better than a A6000? It is now a used camera market. these are the best sellers. I have both available to me. I appreciate your knowledge and experience. I use it for video (new at it) and detail products.
Thanks for this awesome review. So comprehensive, I appreciate that. I am researching both of these cameras for still and video. Your comparison makes a strong case for the a6300. You quickly mention the audio input for the a6300, which looks to be compatible with a Rode Mic (or similar) what does the a6000 offer as far as mic input?
Hello Sir. could you help me choosing a DSLR camera between Canon 760D and Sony Alpha 6000 or 6300. And I heard people saying that Alpha 6000 or 6300 heats up while taking videos in 4k? Please reply. Thank you. Or will you suggest any OTHER BEST DSLR Camera.
+Abdulrahman Alamoudi (بومكَرّم) If i'm corrent the A7R does not have an AA filter and the A7 does, so the pictures from the A7R will be sharper (also 36mp) HOWEVER, if you do not care about videoat all, the A7 is a hard deal to beat due to its current pricing; the same as the a6300
Just got my a6300 due to the 200 pound cashbook and compared it against my a6000 I use the g18 105 , zony 55mm 1.8 , zony 24mm 1.8, 32mm touit 1.8 ,and also 12mm f2 samyang for astro photography the only difference I can notice between the two in picture quality to my eye even when blown upto 100% is the colour rendition colour's not quite as natural on the a6300 but it does seem to have more pop in the colours as compared to the 6000 that is just my opinion i prefare more natural colours so for me at twice the price of the a6000 at its original price the a6300 is not be worth it as I am not interested in video and that is the only significant upgrade on the 6000 no difference with autofocus either it is though a better built camera very solid compared to the 6000 which feels a bit cheap compared but only slightly better built .
I was going to buy a6000 but I changed my mind when I heard that it overheats! I thought that the 4K in a6300 was the cause for overheating!! Does it really overheat when shooting videos? If so What is the recording limit when the overheating icon turns up? Thank you..
I own an a6000. The video capabilities are fine, the difference is that the a6000 maxes out at 1080 (HD), whereas a6300 can shoot resolutions up to 4K (which is really great). I bought the a6000 over the a6300 simply because: 1. this was my first purchase, so I didn't want to dive deep into a camera over $1000; and 2. the price is almost TWICE as much... that was simply too big of a difference. It's like buying an iPhone 6 and then realizing the iPhone 7 costs 2x as much.
Great video! Considering that i make lots of sport photography, specially professional volleyball, what camera would you advice me : A6300, A6000 or Canon 7D Mark II? Thanks a lot!
+tumbleweedfarm If you have the flexible spot switched on, you can immediately change the focus point with the controller. It is a bit faster. However, if you are in the normal focus mode, it will not work. It is a bit faster.
Pretty sure that's how I have my A6K set up... flexible spot, push the larger button on the back, adjust spot, half press shutter to set. Is it the same?
I have my Sony a6000 for 3 years now and i say its still a good performer. Now we have A6500 maybe a better focusing or 4k shooting, for day to day use or occasional use i'll stick with my A6000. 4k is over rated anyways.
hi, can you do a review of new fe 50mm 1.8 on sony A7 mark 1 or sony A7R mark 1? I need to see how is the focusing speed. Most of the review now only using mark 2 series. Thank you!
Great video .. I wish I can get this Camera but it is very expensive :( .. My budget is below 600 USD .. What do you think about the Sony a5100? Do you recommend getting it? a6000 still more than 600 usd where I live
+Rusty Nugget Thank you so much for your reply .. My budget is below 600 USD and I am looking to get a primary camera with an excellent photos and videos .. Do you have any recommendation? I appreciate your help.
orerororeo the only camera i'd recommend you stay away from is the 1200d. other than that i'd recommend researching picture/video samples of potential cameras
Good video, i have the A6000 and the A6300 definitely is the dream camera for this price. Question : everyone say that was NO OVERHEATING but how can we be sure it will not overheat at summer ? N.B. : and remove this AUTO WB ! (and sorry for my bad english)
the biggest thing i was wanting in this camera was IBS not 4K if you want a video camera buy a video camera and yes this camera over heats there are plenty of videos and reports of it you might be lucky and live in a cold climate but i live in Australia and my a6000 overheats just taking stills in the summer as the a7mkIi is only 100 bucks more has IBS and full frame and superior picture quality its more than likely the next upgrade for me i think sony has really missed the mark with this camera and there pricing is what made the a6000 such a grate camera now its basically the same as there a7mkII you would me mad to buy this over it the greatest thing about the mirrorless system is lenses choice and having no IBS on the a6000 and a6300 is a real missed opportunity you only have to look at the micro 4/3ds Olympus to see what an advantage it is every lens you put on it is stabilized
You could sell me a pen bro. Okay so I'm getting a Black Friday deal from best buy. Sony A6000 with a16-50mm lens, 55-21- lens plus a "free" 32gb memory card and bag. also 50% off extra sony battery. Running for $699. Compared to getting a 6300 because of the awesome 4K because video is very important to me, but at the most for the same price I'll probably bid one out on ebay...if I win. Am I stupid for wanting the 6300 body only? leaving me to buy a lens later on or getting the black friday deal is the better move?
Sir, you could put a body cap on those cameras. It was painful to watch the exposed sensor for 17 min (after you removed the lenses). No offense meant, review is good otherwise....
Just an idea. It gets boring looking at the same camera for long. Your video is like audio podcasts. To make it youtube worthy, please include more B-roll shots or visuals while you are talking.
Why must there be so many cameras to choose from!
+Isaac Carlton Good problem to have!
This guy has a great ASMR voice. If the content wasn't so interesting, I'd be asleep.
+Tom Ripley Haha
+Tom Ripley and if the hammer whack on his right thumb heals he could be a hand model too....
Best voice on the Net
Agree. I actually think that's a huge plus for this channel.
Agree about the voice - disagree about the content. I thought it was solid.
I think you just sold me. I love my A6000 but the new body and improved focusing capabilities make the A6300 so appealing. Thanks for the comparison!
I think the a6000 is for me. I don't care for 4k video at all, and I don't care for slow MO video at all. The difference in price makes the a6000 a much more appealing camera for me
+CactuarKnight with the money you save you can get some killer lenses ;) I have an A6000 and its brilliant!
Right exactly my point! I could put that extra dollar into a Zeiss lens or something :D
You are absolutely right. The improvement to the still capability is not worth the extra cost. I am very disappointed with the this new one because I am not interested in video and held off getting an A6000
+CactuarKnight u can shoot 4k and then select frames as images; they still look very good
+CactuarKnight I understand what you are saying, but there were more improvements than just video improvements:
- better autofocus system
- improved EVF
- better body build (magnesium-alloy vs plastic)
- and a few more I cannot think of at the moment
It is really up to you if it is worth it or not.
Watching this as a UA-camr without a camera is just painful at its finest
Let me give you guys a piece of advice. The price for the a6300 is more than double now, is it worth it? in my opinion no if your a normal person with average/normal use.... Its not a revolution when we compare the price differences. Innovation in the camera world is changing so fast lately, that we will see some interesting cameras in the near future. Thats why i say go with the a6000, and wait for the next generation cameras that will come within a couple years.
Timmu, that's actually funny (in a good way)! I'm trying to decide between the A6000 or A6300 to replace my 10 year old Canon too :D
Which Canon are you upgrading from? I'm looking at the 10-18/4 and the 16-70/4 lenses to start with. I've got an old (like 8-9 years) 1D mark II n today :) It's big and heavy too.
Axl Verheul In what way? The A6300 is better on basically everything, even though the sensor has the same resolution.
Always best to stay behind the latest models to get the most value.
Ended up getting the A7 II with a 16-35/4 and an 85/2.
I'll have to find what that MR setting does to see if I'd miss it.
Which one is better for Milky Way astrophotography helpme choose please,. Thank you

Hi, great comparison,
just one minor thing to make clear, you can also charge the A6000 with a Powerback or a USB-Cable.
Like your videos :)
What controls do you have when filming? What does the dial control? ISO? Aperture? Shutter speed?
Your reviews are always amazing. Great job as usual.
+Joseph DAgostino Thanks Joseph!
I actually prefer the smaller and more lightweight a6000. It's better for street photography, travel, and candids.
I love my a6000 also. Haven't felt the need to upgrade to the a6300 and think it's still a perfect camera for my needs, especially travel and street work as you mentioned!
For street photography and travel none beets the fuji.
A6500?
Olympus for the better video

You can buy some cheap primes, see SEL20F28 or Sigma 30mm f/2.8. The 24mm 1.8 zeiss is better but also cost 3x as much

Hi from India
I am considering sony a6000 with dual kit zoom lens (16-50mm & 55-210mm) & sony a6300 with only 16-50mm zoom lens as kit lens.

I would spend those extra money for a 35mm 1.8 lens

Great review, I know I'm getting the a6300! The price is a lot more affordable now and it meets my needs.
will the price of the a 6300 reduce until July .i am planning to buy at that time
Does the a6300 overheat like the a6000 does when recording video?
Hi my primary focus is night shots on a tripod. I like taking pics of city landscapes is the a6000 good enough to make enlarged prints from?
Love these cameras . Only think i dont like is the record button its so small and mounted in a strange place .

hi,
do you have a link to a lens for the 6300. im mainly going to be taking pictures only and of sunsets, beaches and other parts of nature. zoom is extremely important so i dont need anyting extreme but at lest 20x should be good
So does the a6000 shoot 4k with the XAVC update?
nope
As always I like ur in-depth reviews 👍
+Gray Fox Thanks!
What does he mean about the reading glasses thing?
i am very new at photography. So which one of these cameras takes better quality pictures?
Which camera is best for photography under 1200 dollars
does the EVF even matter to someone who usually used the screen for photos?
i have the NEX 6 and i haven't found any reason to upgrade to the a6000 or even the A6300 for that matter.
+Michael Nguyen You can charge but not power the camera...the a6300 can be powered by an external source as long as a battery is in the body.
How are you setting up your lighting for this shot?
ist true top plate(upper area of the camera) a6300 not plastic like a6000?
+rujakandroid Correct. The entire body is magnesium-alloy.
i thought the a6000 recieved a software update allowing it to shoot in 4k
Is the magnification of the viewfinder different? Or is it just higher resolution? Because I think the a6000's viewfinder image is too physically small
Higher resolution
I cant decide, i want a camera for low light conditions and i think the a6300 will do better as im using an f4 lens.
how does the a6300 compare to the nex 6(thats all i can afford)
any competitors to the 6300 other than the G7(price wise)? The 6300 hundred for me is a perfect camera, the only thing that bothers me is the overheating after 20-30 mins in 4k.
i am travelling so which one is best: Canon SX60 HS , Nikon P900 , Sony DSC-HX400V ??
This is such a big Dilemma for me, because filming is my priority and I just can't afford the 6300 :D My mind is telling me, that the 6300 is still an option but I would have to work for at least another year to get it... Looks like I have to stick 1080p60 for a while.
Shi Womino Yeah, I am very pleased with my a6000, it does it's job very well and XAVC is awesome. 1080p is more than enough and nearly every lens produces good images in this low resolution. The only thing bothering me is the frame rate. I would have liked those extra fps for nice slo mos..
singularity_is_unstoppable it doesn't. Have to take a huge step down to the a5000 or a5100 which aren't near as good as both of these
Can you add a rode micro on the a6000?
Do you still the Sony A 6300 is better than a A6000? It is now a used camera market. these are the best sellers. I have both available to me. I appreciate your knowledge and experience. I use it for video (new at it) and detail products.
Currently have a Canon 60D, is the a6000 worth of replacing it?
Thanks for this awesome review. So comprehensive, I appreciate that. I am researching both of these cameras for still and video. Your comparison makes a strong case for the a6300. You quickly mention the audio input for the a6300, which looks to be compatible with a Rode Mic (or similar) what does the a6000 offer as far as mic input?
Would you advise the a6000 for makeup videos & pictures in quality and performance?
Hello Sir. could you help me choosing a DSLR camera between Canon 760D and Sony Alpha 6000 or 6300. And I heard people saying that Alpha 6000 or 6300 heats up while taking videos in 4k? Please reply. Thank you. Or will you suggest any OTHER BEST DSLR Camera.
in term of picture quality; Does it worth it to spend more $400 on the old a7r compare to the a6300?
thanks for this video; I enjoined watching it.
+Abdulrahman Alamoudi (بومكَرّم) i would go with the a7 just simply because its Full Frame
Going to keep my a6000 that I just got off eBay for $350. I add a g lens 18-105 and the 35m 1.8. Very happy. Going to get the 6300 after the 7000.
+scamhealy I just got the 18-105 lens with my a6300 and it is a great lens. Enjoy! (and good price on that a6000!)
I was going to buy a6000 but I changed my mind when I heard that it overheats! I thought that the 4K in a6300 was the cause for overheating!!
Does it really overheat when shooting videos? If so What is the recording limit when the overheating icon turns up?
Thank you..
no over heating ????
I just ordered the A6000 :( I hope it's still a good choice. It'll be my first SONY and mirror-less cam. I owned a Canon 7D before btw.
Does the 4k video recording have a different time limit ?
Lots of people reporting overheating with 4k video on the A6300 now.
Bro why they donot put microphone port and flip screen for vlogs??
a6400
Is there anything wrong with the a6000 video capabilities?
I own an a6000. The video capabilities are fine, the difference is that the a6000 maxes out at 1080 (HD), whereas a6300 can shoot resolutions up to 4K (which is really great). I bought the a6000 over the a6300 simply because:
1. this was my first purchase, so I didn't want to dive deep into a camera over $1000; and
2. the price is almost TWICE as much... that was simply too big of a difference. It's like buying an iPhone 6 and then realizing the iPhone 7 costs 2x as much.
sir i think a6000 does has usb charging
Great video! Considering that i make lots of sport photography, specially professional volleyball, what camera would you advice me : A6300, A6000 or Canon 7D Mark II? Thanks a lot!
Loved your review , very relevant .....!!!!
the new A6500 is out ... what are your views on that ... should I spen on the 6500 or tke the 6300 .
What video camera did you shoot this with ? The image quality is excellent.
Which one is better for photography a6300 or a6000
Should i get the a6300 used for 750$ with 3 lenses and 2 batteries???
RibCracker yes
What camera and mic did you use to record this video?
What did they change from the A6K about choosing the focus points?
+tumbleweedfarm If you have the flexible spot switched on, you can immediately change the focus point with the controller. It is a bit faster. However, if you are in the normal focus mode, it will not work. It is a bit faster.
Pretty sure that's how I have my A6K set up... flexible spot, push the larger button on the back, adjust spot, half press shutter to set. Is it the same?
no, if flexible spot is chosen, you don't have to push the center button anymore.
+Pieter Batenburg Do you need to press the controller right/left/up/down button to move the flexible spot or just rotate the control wheel?
It works as this. If you have the af on flexible spot, the controller can be directly used.
can you just iso and shutter speed?
also how is it for video?
Thank you. Btw, can you add filters?
Just what i was looking for, great inf. a6000 on my wishlist
so the a6300 has a mic in?
yes
Nice review I'v just brought the a6000 and to be honest the a6300 was a little to expensive for me at this time ..
What did you use to film this video? (Camera, Lens, Lighing... etc.)
How about a6300 and a7ii.
+MegaPkdevil They have a comparison with a7rii now.
is the a6000 in 2017 a good choice?
mufflern yes, better to spend those extra money for a 35mm 1.8 lens
Impressive review so far.
i want the camera i buy to have slow motion video, good low light and fast focus
Raymundo Gonzalez did you decide on the 6300? That's what I'm leaning towards now
I have my Sony a6000 for 3 years now and i say its still a good performer. Now we have A6500 maybe a better focusing or 4k shooting, for day to day use or occasional use i'll stick with my A6000. 4k is over rated anyways.
Can someone explain me a simple difference between this two cameras? Why a6300 Is More expensive than the a6000
hi, can you do a review of new fe 50mm 1.8 on sony A7 mark 1 or sony A7R mark 1? I need to see how is the focusing speed. Most of the review now only using mark 2 series. Thank you!
Great video .. I wish I can get this Camera but it is very expensive :( .. My budget is below 600 USD .. What do you think about the Sony a5100? Do you recommend getting it? a6000 still more than 600 usd where I live
+orerororeo a6000 is significantly better than the a5100. the a5100 is more of a secondary camera
+Rusty Nugget Thank you so much for your reply .. My budget is below 600 USD and I am looking to get a primary camera with an excellent photos and videos .. Do you have any recommendation? I appreciate your help.
orerororeo 700d or d5200. i think the canon would be better if video is a big deal, though the d5200 would be the better stills camera
orerororeo the only camera i'd recommend you stay away from is the 1200d. other than that i'd recommend researching picture/video samples of potential cameras
thank you,, hope to find a great camera soon
Good video, i have the A6000 and the A6300 definitely is the dream camera for this price.
Question : everyone say that was NO OVERHEATING but how can we be sure it will not overheat at summer ?
N.B. : and remove this AUTO WB ! (and sorry for my bad english)
Great review, subbed
the biggest thing i was wanting in this camera was IBS not 4K if you want a video camera buy a video camera and yes this camera over heats there are plenty of videos and reports of it you might be lucky and live in a cold climate but i live in Australia and my a6000 overheats just taking stills in the summer
as the a7mkIi is only 100 bucks more has IBS and full frame and superior picture quality its more than likely the next upgrade for me
i think sony has really missed the mark with this camera and there pricing is what made the a6000 such a grate camera now its basically the same as there a7mkII you would me mad to buy this over it
the greatest thing about the mirrorless system is lenses choice and having no IBS on the a6000 and a6300 is a real missed opportunity you only have to look at the micro 4/3ds Olympus to see what an advantage it is every lens you put on it is stabilized
A6300 is weather sealed where as A6000 is not.
I love the 4k mode. It is rather brilliant. If have uploaded two small films in 4k on my channel.
Sir, you could put a body cap on those cameras. It was painful to watch the exposed sensor for 17 min (after you removed the lenses). No offense meant, review is good otherwise....
MFT or Sony A6300 that is the question...
Great Stuff, thanks!
Thanks very much, this was very useful!
Just an idea. It gets boring looking at the same camera for long. Your video is like audio podcasts. To make it youtube worthy, please include more B-roll shots or visuals while you are talking.
I want the a6300 so much! buy I do not have the budget :(
Even a6000 is at the limit of my budget (with zoom h1)
