Is Geoff Manchester jumping ship to UAD? I'm a fan of Izotope's Nectar, so welcome this. Just hope it supports DSP? I like to preserve my CPU for other things which can't be avoided.
Looks interesting and was excited to try, but the link to try it free doesn't work, or rather, theres no demo/try it free button on the product page. Also, not seeing it available to buy with the "choose any plugin" bundles...
Shame I can't try it, the "Try it free" button doesn't appear although Im logged in (I've been able to access Dream65 demo a few minutes ago). Is there something I miss ?
Good but overpriced ($199). I would go for Vocalshaper by W.A. Production bc it’s only $16 (yes!) and provides demud feature that reduces the muddy frequencies with only one knob. It also uses the algorithm of the famous LA-2A compressor.
$199.00 is a pretty steep price for this Plugin. It would be nice to have a plugin that condenses all the vocal tweaking into one Plugin. Still, I can do almost everything it does with my plugins that come with my Protools subscription without paying 199 dollars. My question would be, why buy this plugin when I can do the same with the plugins that come with Protools? Is it really that much superior than Protools Plugins, and why?
Maybe it's targeted towards people that don't know how to replicate all of it. Or to professionals that the time it saves by using the plugin pays it off.
I'm offended by that so-called hip hop example. That's not hip hop that's some wack trap/drill b.s. There's nothing hip hop about that. Next time please get a real MC. Someone who actually raps with substance using metaphors, entandres, and similies. Not some mumbling fool taklaking indecipherable nonsense...

Geoff is Izotopes loss and UADs gain.
Geoff gave the best mixing advice back in the day. Very excited to see him with UAD.
Thanks dude
Amazing UX design! Clear, informative, beautiful, modern and classic at the same time, and really well thought out. Big hand to whomever designed it 👏
We'll be sure to pass it along to the team!!
Big Geoff!!!! Love this guy!
Please do a full video on this for rock/metal vocals
My man! Awesome walk through here, top line rocks too.

Yeah, we're working on that, in the meantime you can demo Spark to try it.
Don't see a Free Trial anywhere in the link, just Add to Cart.

Looks like a great plugin. I just wish that people would stop to autotune every fucking performance, no matter what.

its the early adopter price. it'll go down to peanuts sooner than later like everything else

Sorry, you’re in the minority here, most people don’t care about old hip hop this is 2024. Make it yourself

That's not hip hop.
Exactly! That's some mumble b.s.
