- Mobile and free to play games (especially browser-based titles) have gotten better with their micro-transactions over the years while also increasing substantially in quality. However, that doesn't mean there aren't a few examples, whether recent or in the past several years, of people spending exorbitant amounts of money on these games.
Heck, at least one guy suffered immense charges without micro-transactions. Let's take a look at 15 times players spent crazy amounts of money on mobile games.

with 2 million you might as well buy their stocks and be part of the company...
Ikr, with 2mill you couldve bought the company smh
@@BigSmoke-xh5hi not company but yh
They dont want that to happen
This vid pretty much proves why the mobile games market is a plague in gaming.
Mister Shadow It's only bad of the amount of great app games their are but hard to find that "one".
Theres hundreds of great mobile games
@@WhateverWhenever888 hundreds? You mean like 80 or less, there are not many good mobile games, if you think there really are, I'm kinda being harsh but then name 20 or more
Hey if people are willing to spend that kind of money then that means your country's economy is good isnt it?
@@BigSmoke-xh5hi clash of clans Minecraft roblox subway surfers grand order Cod pubg free fire sims mobile nba2klive
And I thought 10$ on an single game is a lot.. 😅
then you should never play clash of kings because this is where the big boy spenders are....even the broke people in this game will be giving like 200/400 dollars to play and ''have fun'' too bad im addicted
Same sort of thing with a game I play called king of Avalon you gather rss to upgrade your buildings and you can get rss faster by taking others I was a non spender for 2 years and barley got anywhere since I’ve spent a good £350+ I’ve managed to become pretty strong the only downside is it’s also addicting 😞
Another super addicting yet pointless cash grabbing game is Lords Mobile, been playing since the beginning, well about a month after it came out on app but still im not even good at the game but still ill still buy a 5 or 10 dollar pack every once and awhile for some reason i will never understand.....
Mano kriheli, lol, I hesitate when I see a 5$ package deal
Paying 10$ for a game is OK, paying 10$ in a free2play game is bad because you'll want to pay more.
2 million wtf
Braun Stokes Men ikr?
people do .
These people are ruining gaming
Moonlight Splash devs are supply and demand people buy shit and devs see money in it and like a STD it spreads its the people that pay that are the issuse
Moonlight Splash dont be blind to the why u are just looking at the how
Lazarious 542 most of the time it's the publishes fault. Sometimes dev like cod
good examples but still a tiny part of the market Bethesda has fallen so far in terms of integrity its shameful but on the flip side you can look at project Red for how they handled the witcher 3 or how titanfall 2 handled microtransactions its not that i dont agree with paying extra its just foul the way some company's are so money hungry.
Not people but "kid"
At GamingBolt's HQ
"Okay, we have the script for today's video, what do we do now?"
"Just talk about each entry and show the article."
"And what about the rest of the footage?"
"Just show the trailers over and over again"
Minrod Vils lmao
Bonus: Everyone in Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle and other Bandai games
so true lol
My friend once spent $300 on a mobile game. I know it isn't that much but this guy pirates his games and laughs at me for paying for my games.
Ren Amamiya you are joking right. He had enough money to spend on mobile games but not enough to but pc games.
Please tell me your joking, guy pirates games but spends 300 on a mobile game. Society is mad these days
Some idiots really doesn't know how to manage their money
30k over the period of a year that's nothing compared to today i've seen people that spend thousands of dollars daily!!! it's insane how the mobile games are just straight up p2w
You should see how many people have spent well over 10,000 PER PERSON (some have multiple accounts) in "Space Shooter - Galaxy Attack - Galaxy Shooter"
I personally know someone who has spent (and openly admits) to spending over $30,000 US dollars!
A woman was addicted to Candy Crush and uses her credit cards to purchase extra helps. As a result, she:
- lost her boyfriend
- lost her job
- lost her house
- lost her car
- was £75000 in debt
And if you think that's crazy?? One gamer spent over *$1 BILLION* - yes, BILLION - on purchasing gems on Clash of Clans.
Everyone gangsta Until Somebody spent 2 million dollars
VINCE WANTED TO BE THE VERY BEST,LIKE NO ONE EVER WAS
If you think any of them are crazy it's nothing compared to this person, there is an individual that spent $2M on Rise of Kingdoms and is the most powerful player in Rise of Kingdoms as in right now. He has 1 Billion power and millions of maxed troops
If a person spends $2 million on a game, there's simply no chance for you to beat them. You can play twice as long, do everything perfectly, and be raped by somebody who is crazy and rich enough to spend that much.
There should be a legal limit to prevent these games from manipulating people and ruining their lives. It would be as simple as banning gambling with real money in games aimed for people under 18, and limiting the total money a player can spend to $1000. If there is a need to spend more, it means the game's balance is shit, and designed to ruin people's life.
There should just simply be no p2w microtransactions. Only cosmetic
Raped?
I spent $2k not on 1 game but multiple games. But the ones I spent on were closed down so I'd rather buy a bike for $500 and go to the park with friends rather than raging with it. I will never put effort on what I can't control and focus on what I can.
How could people be so foolish. I’m literally floored. Paying to be the best doesn’t mean you got there by skill!?!? So what’s the point!
Nick P. Most people don’t care what it takes to be the best as long as they become the best
It's not really about skill in some games it's about the gacha system.
We also have a number 16, and that's um... me.
I spent nearly 5000 NOK (almost 600$) on in-app purchases, and I regret a lot that I wasted that much money.
Most of the people here are rookies. There are entire guilds out there for specific games where members spend in the tens of thousands.
That's insane!
I've said this many times and i will keep saying it, I LOVE your channel because you don't do clickbait/10 minute videos/ random bullshit like that mo fo chaos. I wish all chaos' subs left him and came to you because you both basically do the same thing execpt you don't upload random bullshit!
You should look into the amount of money that people spend on Lords Mobile. There are heroes that are worth $11k EACH and heroes are not considered the end all be all to having a powerful account.
Some of this are weak bro and should not be on the list and worth mentioning. Like $1,000 on Mobile Game? That's is nothing.
Now the 2mils, that one just top the cake.
The highest amount of money I spent on a game was $20 dollars. I couldn't image spending money on a game like that. I play 3 games as of now. 1 of them I never put money on it and got ledgdary skins on, the 2nd I used too but I stopped after I lost tons of rare items due to a glitch and. The 3rd I sometimes I do. I spend roughly 20 dollars on it a year
My neighbor (10 years old) spent $2,000 on Clash Royale in like 3 days and his parents had to cancel their credit card
The top two should be Robux and Vbux.
I spend a few hundred dollars on a few mobile games and I still regret doing it. But there are people in all these games spending 1000s and thousands of dollars. Its nuts
I just realized that I spent money for games I don't play that much and I didn't spent a cent for the games that I love. Damn I'm a real asshole
Hell, I play with people who have topped about half of this list, some easily spending upwards of $20k or $30k over the course of a few years. I absolutely agree that p2w options in games are ruining gaming. Microtransactions are perfectly fine if they're only for cosmetic items, but spending money to win is just bullshit
Wheres the guy who spent 70k on fate grand order
The highest i spent for a month was $1k dollars and the total I have spent on multiple games throughout my life is $2k
That's nothing in rise of kingdoms there's thousands of kingdoms and each one has like 100+ people dropping $10-20k
ikr theyre talking about people spending 500 and 1000 like its crazy but this happens in rok lmao
Dont be foolish guys, people who spend this much ( on ios, didnt work as good on android) charged their money back man, i know people who spend 40-50k on games in like 2 years but actually paied 300-400. It was so easy to do back than, i maybe did it myself, you bought whatever you wanted for lets say 2k€, after some days, you went to the online page and charged the money back by clicking 1 button on each transaction. Your acc MAYBE ( back than they ddint even block you ) gets blocked for like 2 weeks, that meant that you had to acknoledge that you cant charge back your oders. After 2 weeks your acc was free again and you did the same process, man that was such a fun time, insane feeling if you saw " you purchase was succesfull" and you knew you get everything back.
Montana Banana haha yea ok
THIS NEEDS TO BE UPDATED!!!! LMFAOOOO
Gaming Streamer Darksydephil spent 60K on a mobile wrestling game WWE Champions where you try to win jpegs of wrestlers.
Okay im realizing after watching this that ive got a problem. I spent 12,000$ in 6 months in 2016 on a mobile streaming app and over 26,000$ on another mobile game in 2017
Lol. Officially a whale. But quite normal for a whale. Super whales are.. oh well. Could be spending in millions in some cases.
I spent 300$ in total because of add ons and games and I feel bad for it
I’ve spent $3500 but I’m also young, single, and make $60K yearly. I consider it a hobby so I’ve been happy and have beeen enjoying it for about 2 years. However it can become addicting so I have to delete the game every so often.
Me too i keep buying from all of these app games on my cellphone its addicting
Lords mobile and Rise of Kingdoms should be here.. There's a lot of people spending crazy amount of money in these games.
Tell me about it... I started playing Lordsmobile and it's crazy the money poured into this game
I've already spent like $400 on Puzzle and Empire within a week without realizing it due to special promo that is sponsored. Now not anymore since that's how they got me.
British pounds aren't euros...
I think I should stop spending so much money on games... I've already spent $4000+ on mobile games over 3 years
The UA-camr ssundee spent $12k on clash of clans. He started a new account and calculated how much was needed to start the game and instantly have everything.
Me who had spent around $2000 after watching this video: "Whew, thank God I'm F2P."
2000 wtf
Me too man
I spend my money on Roblox for roblox but now i stopped because it means addiction on games
Most I've spent on a single game is 120$
Yesterday I took one day break cause I felt like I spent to much on a mobile game and today I saw the South Park episode about mobile games apps and I realized I was caught i spent in total on all the mobile games I have played about 4K real shit like I could have used that money for other stuff and it took watching that specific South Park episode to realize that I need to stop this is an addiction fam and I will never play another mobile game ever again
In lords mobile, Bren chong and Don AA spends more than 3M dollars
I was waiting for them to show lords it didnt happen
obi wan Same
Yeah I wonder why they didn't show them
Similar story: I went to fix my iPad he wanted to know the CVV there was a tattooed man that herd it and spend - 10000 but luckily apple refunded the money and my mom blocked the credit card so he won’t spend money because it’s over he know the CVV and password because of the stupid shop
Moral of the story: don't play free to play games
A german Clash Royale Streamer called Trymacs spent over 13k euros (about 15k dollars) in Clash Royale.
Jason crogan was the legend 27
Logan M true
Its ok to spend 10$ but not more than that plz
I’m watching this for the sole purpose of making me feel better that I just spent £20 on gems in an app.....
you forgot about brenchong who spend over 2m in lords mobile
Lol $9,000 on game of war? What did that get you? An extra March of troops? Lol
if you spend money on mobile games i feel bad for u
Why? 😂😂 nothings wrong
There are three heroes in lords mobile that cost 11k$
Lol yeah...even the Basic PTP heros cost around $750
GamingBolt you guys really need to look into the players that play games from developer A Team. For instance Dark Summoner. Hundreds of players spend thousands of dollars every week, month, and year on micro transactions in that game. For instance a few years back I alone spent $5,000 US on DS in a 3 month period......
I spent like 100 $ on a game, fortnite. And now I regret to be it, cus I don't even like and play that game. Smh
Same its trash and I dont even like it anymore
Same
I did mobile games but I get bored with mobile games pretty quick make me delete the game as soon as I get
Unpopular Opinion: I love playing Kingdom Hearts Union Cross X and I don't mine dropping 15 dollars on VIP stuff each week (I have a really good job at a warehouse) because you get really good stuff (unless no event pops up then I don't spend money), but there are ways around this and still be a Top Tier player. It's called being good and thinking what you need to do. Plus the game is canon and will be apart of KH3, so while I have played all the games, I need my KH fix and this canon story is filling that gap (it updates every other week or 3 weeks with new things from japan, plus it has a few more years left, even after kh3)
Take note that you are only paying for gems/which have been cut in half in terms of real money, because they literally hand out gems to everyone each day through errors and logging in, plus handing over gems just for doing free stuff. Everything else like story/events/multiplayer/Colosseum are free. FUCK, THEY ARE HANDING 3000 GEMS JUST FOR LOGGING ON TWITTER AND BLOGGING/LIKING THEIR CURRENT POST IF THEY REACH 10,000 likes, which is so simple and easy (and a good mickey broom medal)
Why do you feel the need to put "unpopular opinion".
Lolasaurus because it goes against the videos theme and what people want
Comrade Robbie "yawns"
If it were 15 bucks a week on any other mobile game, I'd say its not worth it, but this is Kingdom Hearts so it definetly is worth it.
Ewww.......A Furrie. Go to Gulag
Not gonna most of these games are hot garbage. I still don't know how you can spend money on these.
where is dokkan battle? they charge 2.50 cents per card
I have only bought a pet in Among Us for 3$.I don't need such a little money and a pet will make me happy
I’m watching this so I don’t feel bad about dropping $4 on leaf tickets in animal crossing pocket camp
Yummy has spent more than a million in Mafia city, I'm sure of it.
You should check how much top player in Lord Mobile spent. 11k usd hero. Not mentioning the gear they used around 10-20k to max out. Castle skin worth thousand of dollar to max. I’m sure it will be top 1 on your list XD
I didn't spend a cent in my life in a game and i am good gamer i mean i buy the games but not spending real money in it wtf
And I thought me spending $150 on a game is crazy enough...
2 million on a shit game???
Wtf
I would want GTA6 early for that price amirite
Game of War fire age is the only game I know that the ads have more game play on them then the actual game
I’ve probably spent $1000 on online games in 10 years on different games
Ask those players playing idolmaster franchise. They throw money and times for it,a Korean player in million live Theater day even hospitalized when playing anniversary event.
Kingdom guard. Some players spend 100$ like nothing... But really soon...
9000 bucks, games as rise of kingdoms, lords mobile and mafia city see that as a casual. The game got me to spend 1.6k in 3 days, then I thought what am I doing with my life and stopped spending
ME:GETTING PROBLEM FOR SPENDING MONEY ON ROBLOX
RICH:SPENDING MILLION DOLLARS, WAISTING MONEY
I gotta admit, I've played fortnite since day 1 and have spend probably over $2000 on it and I've also spent hundreds of dollars on gacha games like azur lane, fate grand order, bang dream and a lot more
Hey, are you still spending on fortnite? I've been spending on codm since covid.
I’ve spent $3,500 on cod mobile and have loved every minute since 2021. I make around 60k, am single and early 20’s. I consider it a hobby and am in the perfect time to do it before settling down since my finances will obviously have to be cut back much more then!
These people are SOOOOOOOOO being exploited.
If these people got so much spare cash to waste on this then send it me instead it would help with autism and mental health issues
etc
I just came here after watching russoplays, he spends any amount of money buying everything and completes last stage in minutes and plays another game same thing.
Lords Mobile - Bren Chong, 2m $ in half a year and still going
He was sponsored by Synergy
some guy spent $60,000 in roblox
guys, just check out the lords mobile game, they have over 100 players that spent more than 1 mil dollars on this game, and the most that was spent on 1 account is more than 10 million dollars!!!
He should have included widowmaker from strike force this guy spent something like a million dollars on it
Honorable mention goes to Daigo in Fate Grand Order.
6:24 it’s not euros it’s British Pounds
6:54
There are no excuses to call British Pounds euros now
@@thehovergoat99 bruh look at the title of the article he is showing...
Razaziel
I know, he still said euros anyway
I think that mobile games should be differentiated from actual video games unless they are made by the same people
Got you m8. I already got a new name for them. "SCAM"
Lolasaurus yup
*15 Times GAMERS Spent CRAZY Amounts of Money On Mobile Games*
The title is pointless. A $0.01 purchase on a mobile game is madness.
Now do the highest codm accounts. I personally know people who spent over $30,000 in it.
bruv, in FE: heroes, orbs practically grow on trees
lmao in rise of kingdoms 7k is close to nothing ,if you want to be on the top you have to pay A LOT(whales in this game have spent something on the line of 200k)
How does he not know what a great British pound symbol looks like.
Used to play a fantastic Chinese made game. there were 3 players that payed to win. I followed one and realised that for him to get to the level he was he had to spend over 30k ... Than someone from another kingdom said that the devs plant players with almost infinite resources. Their growth than encourages other players to spend big .. .this person told us that showed us screenshots of the suspected plant that was in his guild on the other world. I'm now playing another game by the same developers. Also a beautifully built game, but the worst p2w I've seen. 3 weeks in and someone is already maxed out everything. Considering it takes 3 months to upgrade the buildings to the last level I can't imagine how much this guy sunk ... unless the plant thing is a real thing.
You better not hate on my precious candy crush
Candy crush is trash.
Miles S. Hacks, hacks everywhere.
If you wanna know what the real spending is then check the spending on game called storm of wars for real
There is a knights and dragons player named Stijin DPS who spent over 700$ I'm surprised he was not on he list
The first 2 people spent thousands of dollars
Honestly $700 is pretty insignificant. I play with dozens of people that spend more than that every month. It's absurd. One guy I know just spent $2200 in 1 day because a new set of extremely powerful items was added to the game, buying x amount of the in-game currency (Totaling about $2200) was one of the requirements to get them
I expected FGO to be here
I spent over 20,000 USD on call of spartans over 5 years so I don't know
A player in my server on Zombie Seige spent around 20 grand ina couple months. I cant play that game.. we know because of how fast they grow power and troop numbers.
