There is a quite nice game called Spacetail: Every Journey Leads Home, it is similar to Sheepy: A Short Adventure. There is a demo and a prequel which are both free. The game was created by a small indie company. I highly recommend it to you.
So.... MiniDisc actually predates CD's and has much better sound quality, but.... it was crazy expensive. A minidisc player in the 80's would cost you around $3000. However I used them in theater for track playback, and they have huge advantages that was not available on anything else until we made the move to full digital, like live editing, buffering, and track labeling. You actually plugged a ps2 style keyboard directly into the player and typed names for the tracks.
Man, I want to pay them just for watching someone else do a playthrough. What a cool game. PS that's a hell of a lot of effort on artwork for something that is free. Those details are crazy.

I didn't know that the game was a documentary of Paris underground. I don't understand why they were surprised to find the remains of an ancient civilisation there though.
I wish Metroid were built like this. The atmosphere is great. I would take this a step further.... a post apocalypse, add in-game locales, like a smith, apothecary, different animal characters you could choose. Beyond Sheepy.
