10:45 It says Ostap Bender after a character from old (1928) Russian satiric novel, The Twelve Chairs by Ilf and Petrov. Devs are Russians and that's actually quite a neat Easter Egg.
The UV markings above Bender says "Ostap" which is the protagonist of the novels The Twelve Chairs (1928) and The Little Golden Calf (1931) written by Soviet authors Ilya Ilf and Yevgeny Petrov. For a non Russian game, this is as obscure as it gets.
You didn't recognize the name tag? It says Stanley. There are "games" within The Stanley Parable where there are buttons to press, and you can go to Button Heaven with many buttons to press. You really need to play The Stanley Parable Ultra Deluxe, it's brilliant and much like this indie game.
That puzzle is based on how many of each number there are. 1 = one one = 11 11 = two ones = 21 21 = one two & one one = 1211(ans) 1211 = one one, one two & two ones = 111221 And so on
i know it's a hard pattern to discern and i also had quite some time figuring it out the first time i saw it but i was screaming about it the entire time on it
Oh hey, I’ve seen that strange series of numbers! I saw a video from… I think it was Red Pen, Blue Pen? It’s the “write what you say” sequence. For instance, 100 would be 1 one, 2 zeroes. The first entry isn’t “a one”, it’s 1one. That’s your second entry, which is then 2 ones. You then use that to make the next entry, and so on. Interestingly, that sequence is made entirely of 1, 2, and 3, so try it when those are the only options.
I saw that too, when I saw it in the video I was like no way, but it works. The missing number is 1211. I wonder if the creator of the game saw that problem too
Spoilers for everyone else: it's called a look and say sequence. The next number in the sequence is formed by saying the amount of each digit, and then the digit. So 1 becomes "One one". The next number is 11, which is "two ones", so 21. Then "one two one one", or 1211, etc etc
PLEASE DO MORE. Also a red book appeared in the bottom right corner. I MUST KNOW WHAT IT DOES!!!! I won’t be able to sleep if you don’t keep your playing.
"Two fingers, right in there" 2 seconds later "BRRRRRRRRRRRR VIBRATE BRRRR" "Can i hammer this.?" "Theres something to insert there" "I have not played with the hammer enough" "This time we're gonna smash it"
There's a 3D/VR (VR optional) version of this game that shares a lot of the endings (with some tweaks to keep them fresh) as well as some new ones exclusive to that version.
0:27 SPOILERS BELOW: That's a famous sequence that develops just by reading the numbers. It starts with one, then you read it as one 1 to get the next line (11). Continue reading the numbers: 1 one 1 = 11 two 1's = 21 one 2 one 1 = 1211 (the missing number, which you should be able to input on one or more of the keypads, probably the one at 1:23) one 1 one 2 two 1's = 111221 three 1's two 2's one 1 = 312211
just in case you didnt notice, since you didnt point it out, the one with the future and past was a back to the future reference, look at the picture for the ending and the date
on the morse bit under the blacklight, there are symbols on the buttons as well. But yes, I would love to see you complete this game, please post another video
The 1=11=21= =111221=312211 thing is the digits in 1 there is 1 1s in 11 there is 2 1s in 21 there is 1 2s and 1 1s in 1211 there is 1 1s 1 2s and 2 1s then 3 1s 2 2s and 1 1s
This is one of my favourite capsule games. Fair warning: one of the endings involves doing every other ending in the minimum number of mouse clicks. If you can get that ending in a video, it will be something special.
Day 38 (I think) of asking RCE to play Creeper World. It's a series of RTS game about fighting floods and managing resources. There's also loads of community content. CW3 and CW4 are both really good choices. CW4 has a custom Colony map that's very highly rated (number 6 highest-rated custom map) called The Wave, where you have to prepare for and fight off a huge tsunami. It's very challenging, but also quite fun.
Can't tell for certain this is what was, but the future ending with the destroyed city and the broken moon reminded me a lot of a game called "Don't Escape 4"
“Some humans would do anything to see if it was possible to do it. If you put a large switch in some cave somewhere, with a sign on it saying 'End-of-the-World Switch. PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH', the paint wouldn't even have time to dry.” - Terry Pratchett, Thief of Time
I actually just saw a video on the answer to the 1=11=21 code yesterday. 1 has one 1 (11) 11 has two 1s (21) 21 has one 2 and one 1 (1211) So 1211 is probably a code somewhere
The 6 turned red on the bottom right panel and you have a 666 which would prob be a devil ending also you should try upside down star on the big panel to the left.
This is a classic! Really neat experience of a game.
When you hit all the buttons you got the Stanley name badge, it's a nod to the stanley parable because his job is pressing buttons. You also sometimes get the papers please easter egg

Hey Matt, the 1 = 11 = 21... code? Trying saying it out loud, one digit at a time!
Spoilers for everyone else: it's called a look and say sequence. The next number in the sequence is formed by saying the amount of each digit, and then the digit.
So 1 becomes "One one". The next number is 11, which is "two ones", so 21. Then "one two one one", or 1211, etc etc
