I remember playing this game. It gripped my life for like 2 months. I pretty much got through the whole game minus some of the extremely late game stuff that took forever. It's worth a shot since it's nore interactive than other idles and there's some really fun platforming sections.
yeah the late game stuff actually adds a lot to the game but its a pita to complete when everything takes trillions of souls to unlock 1 thing then ultra ascend and start from 0 again each time
Haven't played this game in years. I wonder if there is a major update or something for them to do paid sponsored videos lime this. Might be worth checking out again
I love Idle Slayer! The art style is awesome, the progression is satisfying, AND they recently had a Shovel Knight collab! I completed the event, it even included a Boss fight!
Played this one a fair bit; Eventually the value of souls kinda overtakes the gold coins, and you 'gotta' farm a bunch of different monsters in different areas for materials and achievements, and you get upgrades that allow you to get the buff effects stacking so active play is still better than just afk'ing - I think that's about the short of it :)
Day 7 of waiting for Matt to upload Mindustry Part 3. FFOTD: The robot units in the game have the colour yellow, red, green, and blue, you're probably wondering: "Why though?", well it's because thats the classes of the units, yellow is units from the core (for example, the units you control that come from the core), red is assault (commonly used to attack a base), green is for support (supports your base or other units), and blue is specialist (for example, the Crawler, they explode to deal damage, thats why its a specialist, because its "special").
C'mon Matt, you didn't noticed the tiny wall braces in the bridge (very efficient but trimmed down to be as cheap as possible). It deserves more than a 3.7/10
@@DARKredDOLLAR There's a couple of new bits, added very recently. There's a new mini-game past the mountain, and there's a slot machine in the casino.
One of my longest playing idle games... so much fun. Gotta say though... the fact you don't jump while checking the upgrades bugs me. You're missing so much stuff. :D (also, no point in bringing any equipment above 500 unless you're hunting a specific achievement)
I've played this game like 2 years ago or something like that, i saw this video and decided to download it again. Luckily i remembered which email i used to login before and guess what, for those past two years or so it has been making idle money. I logged in and had sixtillions of coins and thousands of achievements, all from idle work 😂
It's not a novel realization, but this game, about watching numbers go bigger, lets you pay with real money to skip having to play more of it, and to watch numbers grow even faster. There are countless games that can be bought very cheaply, that respect your time, and money, and provide you with an experience that you won't want to pay to skip.
This one's actually not that bad. There's a realistic way to slowly grind up premium currency and you can play it without watching billions of ads or spending a lot of real cash. Even better, there are no compulsory ads - you always get something for viewing them. If all mobile games had this system, I'd be very much content.
i'm jealous of the devs, i wish i could make art as good as that, the art in this game is great, the animations are on point, everything about the look of the game is great, it's a shame it's being wasted on an idle game.
Matt, if engineers like whole numbers why is it that mostly all your bridge reviews have decimal places?🤔 point proven: you rated the bridge 3.7 even in this video
Oh man i used to be completely obsessed with this game, from constantly playing it even during work, making my own remix of one of it's songs (that i never released because its kinda cringe), and even buying that Makeship Benvolio plush who watches over my bedroom from atop my dresser. Don't play it much anymore because after a few Ultra Ascensions and getting billions of Soul Points the progression gets incredibly slow unless you use certain strategies that im too lazy to set up.
So I've been playing this on mobile since it came out. To maximize your income, upgrade gear in increments of +50 at 50 levels difference between the next gear until level 300 max (increase this accordingly). Then you focus on the newest gear at +1-10 (whichever you can afford) levels each. Always prioritize upgrades over leveling gear. New upgrades will be available every 50 gear levels until level 500 +. At which it will be every 100 + levels. Plan your ascensions ahead of time and ascend when you meet your goal. Most quests will complete passively even while away from the game and do carry over when ascending.
Day 112 of asking Matt to add the Second Narrows Bridge, Ironworkers Memorial to the Wheel of Bridgetune It is a cantilevered truss bridge, carrying 6 lanes of traffic from Vancouver to North Vancouver in B.C. across the second narrowing of the Burrard Inlet. It's name comes from the fact that it collapsed twice during construction, which unalived 23 people in total (Hence the name, ironworkers memorial).

I feel like RCE doesn't understand the fundamental progression of idle games. However, I wonder if he would be interested in playing Decision Problem, aka Universal Paperclips. Especially if he likes numbers go up gameplay.
@@anthonynorman7545 Number go up, but also, when you buy upgrades, usually the most expensive currently available option is significantly better than the next cheapest option, often by an order of magnitude. Then, they are, of course, idle games, intended to be left accumulating numbers when you're not playing, either by being closed and using a time counter, or running in the background. When you come back after a week you have enough money to make a brief jump forwards in progress. Eventually you reach a plateau where further progress is generally quite difficult, and you have to use the game's reset feature to gain a number of permanent buffs that can dramatically increase the speed to the next plateau, but only if you accumulate enough of these buffs before you perform the reset. They aren't good for trying to knock out in one streaming session/video because they're too slow. I know a lot of editing goes into these videos but idle games are kind of asking for it due to the hurry up and wait "gameplay". In this video it seems like RCE immediately clicks on the shiny he can afford *now* rather than waiting a few seconds to buy the really expensive thing that will at least double his rate, opting instead for a bunch of things that only marginally improve his overall progress. Those lower tier upgrades are the last thing you buy when they are so cheap as to be rounding errors, once you can purchase the most expensive shiny thing.
Fun demonstration of the vulnerability of the human mind to 'numbers get bigger'. Enjoyable to watch.... right up until 'pay real money to make numbers get bigger faster'.
