I read the book, Fourth Thousand Weeks:Time Management for Mortals, and i think his lessons apply to money as well. We have to say no to thing, even things we want to do. And focus on the ones that are most important. He talks about feeling a sense of grief and accepting that, because we cant say yes to everything. Kinda reminds me of the quote "you can have everything, just not all at once "
Same! I had to give my whole emergency fund (that I just completed), to the IRS. It’s great I no longer owe, and I had the funds to pay, but it was bittersweet.

So helpful. We just had to dip into our emergency fund and it felt like we were starting all over.
