Pretty much every song they did live at Royal Albert Hall was incredible. I recommend checking out It Never Ends live at Royal Albert Hall or their newest song, Kool Aid.

The Royal Albert Hall is THE Venue to play at in London, if you are an orchestra or classical musician. Built to commemorate Prince Albert (Queen Victoria's husband) - it's where the PROMS concerts happen in summer, Remembrance Sunday etc amongst many other things - BMTH admitted to feeling honoured to be asked to play there and were awed by it. |The acoustics are freaking amazing in there! I am a classically trained violinist and percussionist who has played in many orchestras and BMTH are my favourite band, so this concert was a dream come true for me - my favourite two worlds collide!
You can see the whole concert here on UA-cam and it will give you the background to the concert (to raise money for Teenage Cancer) = that's why there are lots of volunteer younger musicians (many are also BMTH fans). The conductor wrote the classical intros to each song. (A friend of the band). The guys are English, from Sheffield in the midlands. They started out in their teens as a death metal band and have grown so much and now do anything they want - and it all sounds amazing - love love love them!
This concert covers the tracks on what was their new album at the time 'That's the spirit' - one of their more mainstream accessible albums too - so please take a listen - I think you'll love it.

I believe there is a BTS video about putting this concert together. The orchestra is a group that mostly does alternative, modern music. The band members worked with the conductor to pull together the orchestra members, the chorus members, and the additional orchestral elements to the songs. Side note, the woman leading the chorus is the wife of the keyboard player of Bring Me, Jordan Fish. He just left the band this year.

This whole concert has a special place in my heart. And having played in symphonic bands/orchestras myself, your reaction and appreciation of this was so cool to see.
I think you would really like their song "Can You Feel My Heart"
There's an official music video & also the Royal Albert Hall version. ❤

Being one of the people that begged(in my mind) that you'd do Bring Me The Horizon(BMTH), this made my day! 😊❤
Copyright blocks are a problem, I think maybe show that disclaimer right before showing the video or kinda blurring, pausing more helps keep them at a minimum.
Do the original video version of 'Can You Feel My Heart'
    or
    'Shadow Moses "
    (" Sand-pit 🐢" lol)
But, yes. This whole concert was top-tier and at the time earned much widespread respect to the band, still resonates to this day.
Lead singer is Oliver Sykes(Oli) and he is an incredible vocalist, lyricists and and almost in every other way, it's his vision and ideas. He's genius. The other band members have been there from the beginning (have had 3 others come and go) but those currently are founding members and all best friends. They've had an interesting journey.
    Sempiternal
    Post-Human:Survival Horror
    Both non-skippers imho
Glad you're going down BMTH rabbit-hole
    React to 'Kingslayer'
    (its in the lyrics)
    ✌️😇🤟

hey man! i'm a huge massive bmth fan so super hyped you reacted to this! if your instrument is primarily drums i would LOVE for you to react to sleep token! their sound deffo isn't for everyone but if you want to just appreciate some INCREDIBLE drum work you need to check out their drummer II !! (they're an anonymous band so his name is literally just two) but he won drumeos drummer of the year last year and he is honestly such an artist with the drums! also i think your perspective on it will super unique because you'll definitely be able to hear the gospel/worship/jazz/funk influences in his playing!! thanks for another great reaction!

The concert was brought together for a children's cancer trust. The entire concert is insane. they used some orchestra elements in the original album. That's the spirit. Not every song. Think it was a Collab on every level. But amazing. You can see they both enjoyed it muchly. This band never sounds the same,so it's impossible to say,hey this is what the band soinds like. You could do a couple of songs from each album. Deathcore to now. Every genre of rock/metal pop. They did a song with ed Sheeran too. Think I'll subscribe to see where you take this. Bad omens are great too. Just seen them pkay together a few months ago. EPIC. This eas a suprise for the bring me fans, theybhad no clue they were getting the orchestra until they came in stage. Imagine. Wish I'd veen here. British band, from Yorkshire. You can hear his accent in other songs from this gig. Its unmistakable. Yorkshire lass myself 😊

Sheet music was not composed by the band themselves, but whats really cool is this concert was a charity event one of which was for cancer as oli the lead singers childhood friend at this point had just overcome bone cancer, that would sadly not be the end of that story, Aiden his friend would eventually come to pass due to cancer, and the song titled "I dont know what to say" was a tribute to him. But that being said all the orchestra and choir, as well as the band were not being paid. Everyone was there to support which makes this all the more beautiful, and now years after listening to this concert more than a lot of the studio versions, i've just overcome cancer myself, and this concert and the song "i dont know what to say" were all big inspirations to me!

Also, if you enjoyed BMTH here, check out 'One day the only butterflies.....' by BMTH featuring Amy Lee (from Evanescence) - a beautiful ballad with a piano background (reminiscent of Ramin Djawadi / Game of Thrones Season 7) Hauntingly beautiful.

Love Bring Me the Horizon. I've seen this concert series many times and still get goosebumps every time. Since you are a worship drummer, you need to check out Sleep Token. Their drummer is heavily influenced by gospel drumming along with many other genre type. I suggest starting with either songs, The Summoning or Granite. Thanks for the reaction.

I don’t know why you have such a small number of views on this one, I don’t know much about BMTH- I practically watched this video a few years ago and was blown away just like you, I checked out Parasite Eve during the Covid pandemic and was blown away by the fact that it came out before the pandemic 😅. After that I became obsessed with Falling in reverse and now Ren. I know I didn’t keep track, but I thought they have a bigger following. Btw- I agree with you on the Metallica thing 😅

Here are a couple symphonic pieces to consider:
      - Symphonie Fantastique by Hector Berlioz
      - Symphony No. 1 in D Major by Gustav Mahler (specifically the 3rd movement)
      - Danse Macabre by Camille Saint-Saens (sounds like rattling of skeleton bones)
      - The Firebird by Igor Stravinsky

Actually this is way different that the studio version and the orchestra parts were written by someone cooperating with the band. This whole concert was in order to donate for cancer and the artists were not paid! Also Bring Me is from England and not just heavy, there first albums went from deathcore to metalcore. Sempiternal is there most famous Album, which includes Can You Feel My Heart (you most probably know that song), bust That’s The Spirit (which doomed is from) and Amo are more kind of a soft pop/rock. Nowadays they are more going back to the heavier stuff, but with EDM.
And to Bad Omens, there earlier stuff sounds similar to Sempiternal (of Bring Me) and they were called a rip off. There music is very great and has many layers, they (also) have now some EDM stuff in there as well as chuggy chords and great drums. The singer is very talented in singing and screaming and also produces there own music.
Fun Fact: The singer of bad omens actually joined Bring me on a concert earlier this year

This concert is perfection, I honestly didn’t like them years ago with their heavy stuff then got into them with the sempiternal and that’s the spirit albums as I could understand what Ollie was saying and saw myself and my life in the lyrics of the songs with being an ex heroin addict and Ollie used to be addicted to ketamine and both us going through depression and relationship breakdowns they’ve now became one of my 2 favourite bands ( along with electric callboy ), I saw bring me the horizon in their hometown Sheffield in England a couple years ago gone September and they were amazing live, I even got Ollie’s high five hand palm tattoo and BMTH on me fingers with some song and album symbols under the initials, they’ve just became my band now, been clean 21 years gone December with a full time job for 9 years and a 10 year old daughter, turned my life round and these and the fans help keep me on the right path knowing other people have gone through the same and came out the other side for the better, absolutely love this band
