I dont think it's every been actually confirmed that Derek took his own life, Ronnie revealed that he died of a subdural hematoma. But it is true that he was Ronnie's best friend and band mate, he was the rhythm guitarist in the first video. Derek was the one to pick Ronnie up from prison when he was released.

I'm in the industry and it's not a very well kept secret. But at the same time, not many people go out of their way to address it. out of respect.

Found your channel today. I love your reaction. I am a big Falling In Reverse fan. I see you've also reacted to Ren. I'll watch all of these in the next day. One band I will highly recommend is Twenty One Pilots. They are Mad talented! Tyler, (the lead singer, writer, keyboard, composer, ukelele, bass, all self taught) and Josh Dun drummer extraordinaire ( also self taught and compared to Travis Barker all the time) started in Ohio. Their self titled album has religious intonation but everything he writes he leaves a way for everyone to interpret their own way. I would suggest Ode to Sleep and Migraine to start. Everyone has heard Stressed Out, Ride and Heathens even if you dont know it. The Clique is a fan base who is loyal to reactors too.

I know, as an instrumentalist, that some keys are easier than others to play on certain instruments so I’d have to assume that it has something to do with that. The arrangement of the revamped version was written by Sean Rooney. Speaking of horizontal high cymbals, did you watch Child in Time by Deep Purple? Ian Paice's used that setup already in 1971 :)
I'm fairly new to the Falling in Reverse scene. Just found them 2....MAYBE 3 years ago. I don't know how I missed them. The original of this song is EXACTLY the kind of music I listened to 12 years ago. Guess that's the downside to the only FM rock station available here is the Classic Rock station
I remember seeing a skit on Palchalbels Canon in D sometime ago. Green Day used it a lot. Many bands use the same chord progression as well because he went through maybe 10 of the most popular 80’s and 90’s song playing the same chord progression in D that follows the Canon. It may be a pop thing or it may just be easy. I don’t think that this is in the same key though as I’d assume the Canon is in D major, considering the songs mentioned are more poppy and the graduation song, of course, while boring as fucking hell, is major.

I could be wrong on that but my brother was a music performance major at the time so naturally he found it hilarious. I tried that route, realized I didn’t like 20 hour days between my classes and ensembles so I backed out lol.
@@teckreactions I couldn’t teach. I was wanting to double major in performance on French horn and composition. I was an All-State player in high school and probably played four brass instruments at at least an All-District level. I wasn’t as versed in writing going in but figured that would be simple enough. I changed after my first semester to those majors, my advisor asked me if I wanted to catch up to the 1st semester people, I stupidly said yes. After calculating ensemble hours, I was at like 24 credit hours for the semester and that killed me. Three ensembles, recital, music history, theory, piano, psychology, algebra, some science class… Anyway, it was a lot. Music Teachers, or band directors, also don’t get nearly enough credit. There is next to no funding, you’re working pretty much 24/7 in one way or another, you’re writing marching programs, trying to get good educational opportunities for players, etc. It’s criminal.

Wouldn't dare to call you slow at all. I'm an avid reactions watcher and I really like almost all of them (and really enjoying your breakdowns, as you did with Jinjer or Nightwish, especially on the rhythm and drums). Really loved that. Now, the thing with FIR is (just as with Ren): They are evolving, especially in their retakes (Ren) or reimaginings (FIR) - so it's really okay to have questions but hold them back until you are finished with the songs. They will explain themselves in time. No criticism regarding your style of reacting at all (maybe more rewinding but that's it). You're doing very well but to those familiar with the songs, some of the questions may seem ... just a bit early. That's all. Wouldn't dare to call you slow at all. I'm an avid reactions watcher and I really like almost all of them (and really enjoying your breakdowns, as you did with Jinjer or Nightwish, especially on the rhythm and drums). Really loved that. Now, the thing with FIR is (just as with Ren): They are evolving, especially in their retakes (Ren) or reimaginings (FIR) - so it's really okay to have questions but hold them back until you are finished with the songs. They will explain themselves in time. No criticism regarding your style of reacting at all (maybe more rewinding but that's it). You're doing very well but to those familiar with the songs, some of the questions may seem ... just a bit early. That's all. Sorry for the broken English as well, it's not my native language but I'm trying to help out as good as I can. Keep up the great work!
