Paul Tollett personally flew down to South Korea and personally invited them to perform at Coachella 2019! BlackPink hadn’t even set foot in the U.S.! And then he told BlackPink their first performance would be televised in Time Square! And then UA-cam wanted a piece of the action and together with Coachella set up 3 UA-cam channels for people to choose different performances! And in 2023 they opened up all six venues! And of course BlackPinks first Coachella show was broadcast around the world
For free! And I can’t wait for BABYMONSTERS to be old enough to be able to perform at Coachella which is really their Dream!🖤🌸🙏🏻

I don't think people relize how intelligent BABYMONSTERS are! BlackPink were from the school of hard knox and BABYMONSTER are from a more educational aspect! And you are right they will learn to adjust to the ways of K-POP but they will still have BlackPink for moral support as well!

There is no comparison. Le Sserafin were bad!! Every show or group was better then them. BP are legendary, and it is insulting to compare them.
It's really different because BLACKPINK was invited to Headline in 2023. Due to the demand after Blackpink performed in 2019, and it waa a success.

BP got invited personally after years of being the top GG, slaes, awards, concerts & they gave proven so many times why they are global stars… meanwhile 4th gen came rushing to be the “next big thing” in fashion & music. Now Kpopies sending half baked idols on big stage just because they are big companies? Kudos to YG for producing 5th gen group and not rushing their debut coz they have high quality vocals. You can say what you want about YG and they do legitimately deserve many criticisms. However, it not all bad. YG has demonstrated that they are exceptional at girl group talent selection, group formation, and training. And, they are also exceptional at staging high quality productions. Let’s try to get these comparisons with other girl groups right. First, BlackPink makes their first Coachella appearance and puts themselves on the Global map and blows audiences away. Coachella now has their eyes on BlackPink for the future. BlackPink goes on a World Tour for approx 18 months - selling out all dates - setting the world on fire. Within that, BlackPink is invited to headline Coachella for two performances. After making adjustments to improve on the first performance, BlackPink’s second show is now recognized as one of their best performances ever. Jennie said it best when she said “we are giving you everything we’ve got”. And if that was not enough, the Pinks headline Hyde Park in London, followed by a special invitation from the First Lady of France for an encore performance. And then, to cap it all off, receiving recognition from King Charles of Great Britain. Maybe you have forgotten all of this or since this is the “Highest” form of Global recognition you have chosen to overlook it. No disrespect to the other girl groups, but show me any girl groups in Gen 4 or 5 that can demonstrate accomplishments even close to this. I don’t understand how you can objectively initiate a discussion comparing AESPA or Lesarafim to BlackPink. The good news is that BlackPink has set a very very high standard. These other groups need to realize that they will need to work hard and long to achieve a level of performance that is worthy of comparison. No one will give you the recognition of being as good as or better than BlackPink - you will need to continue to earn that recognition through your dedicated efforts. And remember, hard work alone does not mean quality performance. As far as BlackPink goes, I wish them well on their solo activities and I hope they tour again in the future - 2025 and beyond. I truly believe the best is yet to come for the Pinks! Finally, look out for Babymon7ter - a group where all 7 members can actually sing live - go figure!!!

The biggest difference between those two groups is that YG trained BP for 4-6 years to be ready for a big stage like Coachella. LE SSERAFIM seems to have performed well, but Knetz are not happy with their vocals and are saying that companies are rushing GG's out too soon and without enough training.
Nope their intro and transitions of songs were so lame , even outro it feels like hybe didn't put any efforts in that performance. Bp Coachella intro , outro , transitions were so smooth and good it was a perfect thing.

I love Blackpink, I love Babymonster. But.... I think Babymonster is very new to the music scene, hence not much in their discography, maybe in 2-3 years they will have more songs and perform at Coachella. So being he lone outsider in the comments I would like to see (G) I-dle perform in 2025. I believe they are very talented group, they have an amazing discography, they have great vocalists, they have an amazing rapper in Soyeun, they also have stage presence!!@!!! The only thing they would be lacking is English speaker. I know Minnie speaks a little and Yuqi says she speaks English. So they lack English conversation skills thats about all. But they are 8/10 in all other categories.
Idle is one of my top groups, so I agree. Yes the lack of English would be a problem, but, I think, not one that they couldn't overcome. However, here's one out of left field: Baby Metal. Their live performances are legendary. Just a thought. ;)

No doubt blackpink is uncomparable since they had set the highest standard for k-pop. Strange thing is Le Serafim's were bashed by korean nets even though they are greatly loved in their home country. I thought they would happily support their beloved artists, but then the opposite comes true, the international fans loved LSE and Korean actually the one hated them the most.. strange .. 😂😂.. For a 2nd. generation it's considered the highest honor for them to present their music in Coachella.. main thing they have fun, the audience also have fun and enjoy the music.. don't care about vocal.. it's a LIVE event for goodness sake 😂 and for sure they a very very nervous since korean audience and international audience is very very different. This can make LSE learn their lesson and definitely will give their best performance after coachella.. though they definitely can't compare to bkackpink and I think nothing can compare to blackpink ever. Le Sserafim was not ready to perform there. They needed more experience. They should’ve invited a group like G-idle or Mamamoo. Heck they could have had Jessi go and it would’ve been great. They shouldn’t rush new groups to the coachcella stage before they’re ready. They’ll either be ill-prepared popularity and discography wise like Aespa, vocally wise like le seraphim or stage presence wise. They should wait until they’ve had one live tour at least. That’s how music companies do it here. They normally have artists do a lot of small live performances before they hit big stages. That’s why they’re a lot more stable vocally.
