My father was Dutch so I tried to learn the language I struggled with the pronunciation as you must use your mouth and throat more , some said it would be easy for an English speaker but English is more diverse than what people think. I soon found I could have a conversation in Afrikaans also.

The easiest are Mandarin Chinese because of the interesting characters, and Russian because of the exotic Cyrillic alphabet.

German? No, not an easy language to learn at all. Maybe only for English speakers it can be easy.
