This was so informative and great details. The phone and computers are terrific tools for organization, however, I prefer writing things in a notebook. I still make photo albums rather than keep photos only on the computer.
Very interesting! Thanks for sharing. Last year was when I first learned about keeping a garden diary. I just wrote things down (when I remembered to) in a spiral notebook. Don't think that was very organized but considering it was my first attempt it wasn't too bad. I'll know better about that when I look at it for reference this year. I like your idea of using a regular diary like you do and will try that this year. I do have a small separate calendar I've used to keep the high/low temps, weather and # of sun hours in. I'm more the pen and paper type instead of using the computer and phone. I'll be starting my Winter Sowing around the middle of this month.
It sounds like your were pretty organized to me. At least you didn't throw it out! lol. Good luck with your winter sowing. I'm going to try some in the middle of the month using my little greenhouse (I don't have milk jugs). Good luck!
@@theladysgardenandhome I learned how to Winter Sow from Esther's Gardening Adventure videos. One section talks about the different containers you can use for it. They don't have to be milk jugs, just something clear enough to get sunlight onto the plants. With the girls drinking a lot of milk, I get my milk jugs from my daughter. A 2 liter water or juice bottle will also work. Esther has an interesting series of gardening videos you might enjoy watching.
Here are videos I made on how I sow Onions: ua-cam.com/video/GkDDiy41e44/v-deo.htmlsi=Jb96YycXVUjXhFYB and Peppers: ua-cam.com/video/TSSY5M_fuXI/v-deo.htmlsi=WgKn57_oMZKoEJNJ
Ty!!!
I like this setup. I’ve been struggling to find a method that I will stick with. Gonna try similar to this.
Thank you! I hope this works for you!
I like the time and date website- I will certainly check that out. I use notebooks but I like your weekly planner idea !
Thanks, I thought the time and date website was very eye opening!

Thanks, Diana. It's whatever works for you that matters!

What seeds have you started already? (I’m on li - and beginner)
I’ve started some lettuce, spinach, onions and peppers so far. That’s it. I’m starting more mid-Feb.
