So great! I made myself a perpetual garden planner from a regular weekly/monthly planner on sale this summer. It had a pretty botanical look. All I did was white out all the year and days, leaving only the numerical dates. Then I could see every month and write out key plantings, frost dates, projects… also having the daily pages to write lots of notes while in the garden. This way over a few years I can build up a record of things like when the first fig ripened, mistakes, successes, and improvements. I’m loving having this record.
That is such a smart idea taking a dated planner and adding in what you do/notice in the garden. I definitely want to track something like that next year because I for sure missed out on the small things this year by starting the planner late!! Hopefully I can get a good record going like you have planned too 🥰🥰
THESE ARE SUCH GREAT IDEAS 😍 I have zero knowledge for gardening but this one was definitely a fun video to watch. I really love the alternating tabs, such a nice and subtle way to add contrast 🌱
Awe thanks Nadia!! That was literally me a few months ago and then found this channel Acre Homestead and have been obsessed with her garden and food videos... now I am full in garden making 🥰🥰
Yay I'm glad you found this helpful!! I have loved starting a garden and would 100% recommend it to anyone 🥰🥰 The spreads are for sure beginner friendly so if you do decide to start one hopefully this is a good starting place!!
I love this, need to redo my garden planner, that has fallen asleep since autumn. Btw. I really love your channel, just found you and there're so much helpful videos about the BuJo. Really like your spreads a lot, was surprised, that you have so few subscribers. All the best for you for 2023!
Yay I’m so glad you found the channel and liked watching it too!! I need to get on creating my 2023 garden planner soon to be prepped for planting in march… still trying to figure out what to plant because I want to try everything 😂😂 What is a must have for your garden??
@@createwithcait Tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, salat, egg plant, melons (honeydew and water) and herbs. If I don't have those, I'm missing a lot.The rest are just nice to have, but I'm best at planting the above veggies. We won't plan chilies and pepper anymore. Just takes to much time and was too spicy last year for us.
I think melons would be so much fun to grow I just wouldn’t have enough space in the backyard for them!! I will say that I wish I did better with my herbs last year (they were a bit of a fail) because I loved making salsa from the tomatoes that grew
I have LOVED starting my first garden this year and am excited to start tracking the progress!! Any tips for a garden newbie?? 🍀🍀
Thank you so much for all your ideas! Your planner is so inspiring and easy to do.
Yay I’m so happy you liked the video and it was easy to follow!! ☺️☺️

🍃 Love your garden planner
I am very inspired by your garden journal. I grew a little last year and I am taking on more this year. This will help me a lot. Thanks.
This is a great layout, TFS :)
