I watched this show when I was young and I wanted to remember all about it, but with this videos I am learning things that I never realized!!

Hey mate, I've decided to donate some cash as a way of honouring your cat's death. I just recently found out about my grandfather's passing and it's the HARDEST hit I've taken in life so far. I loved my grandfather & I wasn't even able to go to his funeral due to the fact I now have GCSES. I get that the death of your cat & my grandfather's isn't the same in terms of grief but it's still crap either way and all we can really do is try to move on. Cheers for the video man and all the best as well 🫡

@@Flaynustheflayedanus4815 I watched it before I was old enough to understand a lot of the things that were happening. I didn't want to rewatch the whole show tho because I already know many of the big twists and it has so many hours of content.

Ekko's death was... theres no other word for it- codswallop. They wrote out a great character
He wanted out of the show due a personal tragic loss back home in England. I understand why he left the show and I feel they did the best they could with a difficult situation
It sucked seeing him leave, but honestly I do still think it was a good death. Sets stuff up nicely for later seasons and overall just acts as good shock value

Just wanna say thanks for introducing me to Lost. Without your season one and two recaps, I never would've watched this show, or really even cared about watching it as I had heard bad things about the ending. But your videos made me binge watch the rest of the seasons, and I'm glad to have finished it. Can't wait for the rest of your recaps

@@Flaynustheflayedanus4815 It was alright, I wouldn't really call it good or bad. It didn't catch me off guard because I somewhat predicted that it would end the way it did. But I can understand why people would be left feeling pissed off

Echo also played adabisi in the show OZ, and I also really liked him in that. He wasn't the greatest man, but he was soft-spoken most of the time, and when he wasn't plotting the death of someone, he was really funny.

I missed this upload but you don't know how happy I got when I saw it. Lost is probably my favorite series of all time and I love your re-telling of the story of the first 2 seasons and Breaking bad.

You should've mentioned the detail that John was shot at the same spot where his donated kidney to his dad was, which basically saved his life.
I didn't think it worth mentioning as this island has miraculous healing abilities anyway that have benefited John from day 1
@@Howesenberg Yeah, but the viewer might get confused and think people are immortal if the island wants them to be. Which is not quite the case. John is just very lucky after the plane crash, a polar opposite to his life prior where he was in a series of misfortunes.
Also the hatch imploding and everyone teleporting out and staying alive is one of the mysteries of the show, so maybe the island can keep someone alive even when they are suppose to be dead.
The problem is it's hard to explain certain things without spoiling later reveals.
Most of this makes sense when you factor in the idea of time being something that can be manipulated. That's all I'll say without giving anything super specific away.
With John I would argue is has nothing to do with luck and everything to do with the powers of the island.

The coolest thing about the flash-forwards is that we didn’t know it was a flash-forward until we see Kate, it’s kept as a really sick reveal.

Yessssssssss, I have to figure out why tf my mom liked this show so much
A dozen or so minutes left to watch, but man I'm so C O N F U S E D . I think if I had tried watching this again myself, I would've tapped out early into season 3 lol. It feels like they answer 1 question, and give you 100 more. Even if stuff does eventually get explained, it almost feels like padding as you watch it. It feels less like foreshadowing, and more like they made up whatever they wanted as they went along. In having all of these ongoing mysteries, it feels easy to get L O S T, and even if certain things do make sense, it feels easy to forget why they would.
A lot of little easter eggs in this one. I Enjoyed the "simp" title card, the fallout brotherhood mention and the little mgs 2 thing .
I feel ya, there's so much strange random crap BUT I will do my best to make it all make sense at the end of the recaps
1:00:39 Mate, you f'ed up explaining that this is a Flash-forward and that Jack left the island. As a first-time viewer, almost nobody expected them to leave the island at any point, and thought this was another Flashback
That wouldn't have made any sense though, he didn't meet Kate until they crashed on the island

The Season 3 finale had the most obvious twist of the series. Otherwise, it was pretty good.
