Well... I don't have a bag yet. I have everything in the boxes they came in except for my o.g Blackmagic and it's cage.
I'm almost done with my first setup. 2 things remain... a wide angle lens (10mm to 12mm) and ND filters... a mic also but I'm using my phone for now.

I’d love to see a video on switching to the iPad for everything! I use mine for all my Lightroom editing, but from my experience the iPad version of photoshop kinda sucks… I also can’t get external storage to work properly. I’d love to see how you manage to work with everything though

My camera bag contains a Sony A7iii with Tamron 28-75, a Tamron 70-180, neck strap, Rode Videomic pro, 2 gorillapods, USB-C cable (to use the A7iii as a way overpriced webcam), Zoom H4n, 2 Rode Wireless GO mics (a black one and a white one), 2 XLR-trs connectors (to connect the Wireless GO to the Zoom H4n), an X-rite ColorChecker Passport Video, 2 sets of earbuds, a Godox LED36 (for now, new lights are on their way), a Zhiyun tripod, a small powerbank, 3 extra batteries for the A7iii (so always 4 with me, just like you), AA-batteries and some loose cables. There's a set of magnetic filters on their way. Oh, and there's a bunch of blank quitclaims and a notebook as well.

You brought up something I thought was very cool - the idea of replacing a laptop with an Ipad. It seems like this has one big con - lack of a traditional video editor like FCP, Premiere, or DaVinci. So, I would love to hear what you would use to edit if you switched right now. Also, would the lack of FCP / Premiere / DaVinci keep you from switching?

Would absolutely love a video on the Rf 50 1.2!! I've been mulling over whether or not I want to buy it for a few months, and would love to see how you use it. I rented it while traveling (generally what I do professionally for photography), and it was kind of a tricky focal length to integrate, but it seems like it would be a dream for more product-type shoots.

Hello. I wanted to share a success story with you. Mine. years ago I started as a detailer at a Harley-Davidson dealership. Bought a camera and started taken photos of motorcycles. Wasn't very good so I started to search UA-cam for tips and tricks. This is where I found your videos. To make a very long story short, I now run and do all of the dealerships photos for the website, all UA-cam video walk-throughs of the bikes and sit at the management table weekly discussions about product photography and videos. I have also now been published in 2 motorcycle magazines and made the cover both times. I truly would like to thank you for all of your amazing tutorials. They have been a huge help and inspiration for me and have helped me achieve great things thru photos and videos. Thank you my friend.

Restrictions finally loosening and Pete breaks his fingers for 8 weeks, by which time it'll be winter in Canada again. Man can't catch a break 😭

Finally just got a new bag, myself lol Also just finished packing it so I have spots for everything. Right now I have: canon M50 with kit lens, 22mm lens for the same camera, vlog tripod (one I've never seen anyone else talk about that was $70 on amazon and is metal and has tripod legs and is a BEAST for how small it is) which is in the same spot as a gorilla pod and a Rode VideoMic Go, 2 Micro USB & 2 USB C charge cables with 3 slim power banks, 2 extra M50 batteries & charger, and last the DJI Ronin-SC gimbal. Even better is that this is a rolling camera bag, the only one on amazon that wasn't over $100, and it's a backpack that slips onto a wheeled..thing..It's kinda like what's on rolling luggage. But the backpack is slightly loose on it, so I can nestle the gimbal in between the extendable rolling handle and the bag, and it won't fall out. There's a tripod strap on the side, but the gimbal is WAY too heavy and tips the bag over when using that.

About to buy a r6 or eos r and want to get killer glass. Not sure on direction yet... Also curious on your thoughts of usm and stm as far as buying my first rf mount camera. Probably going usm 24-105. But it's been interesting researching it.

If you do, try going all iPad, definitely be using the ios16 beta and LumaFusion is surprisingly awesome. Very powerful, color grading interface is awesome and fast

WOW! Fire video man and sorry about the fingers... that sucks. I'm currently using the Canon RP with a 24-105mm but would love to buy the 15-35 in the future. Also using Joby gorillapod, Rode videomicro and gopro hero 7 white. Probably the most annoying thing is definitly not getting good audio of yourself when pointing the camera away from you.
