Honestly ever since I downsized to the Tamron 35-150 f2-2.8 and got rid of my primes, I’ve created more and more without overthinking. I only have one major lens besides my vlogging lens of 17-28! Condensing has been great for me so I’m glad it has for you!

I have the larger travel version of the bag, I love it. I plan on picking up this one soon as it will be more convenient when I decide to just go out for a walk around town or a hike with the family.
I bet that Bag was claimed by somebody who lives like, 1 minute from that place. Congrats to everybody who got something! Thanks for doing this Peter! Even though I'm in the South of the the USA, it seems like other countries hardly get a chance to win something, so this is pretty cool

I’ve only recently realised this with having drones for 5 plus years and hardly using them. Now with the mini 3 I use it all the time cause it’s just so convenient, same as your camera setup. Great vid 🤙

Totally agree on the drone. Bought one in all the hype (partially of which you caused) but ended up using it about 10 times and left now un cupboard. Too much hassle carrying around.
This made so much sense, I made the same mistake where filming was too much of a hassle because i had to pull everyting out of the bag and connect it. Im gonna try the same technique, thanks for the idea Peter :)

I use a Sling bag by Hex Ranger. It's perfect for street photography and any vlogging. It fits just enough without needing more. For a bigger bag I use the Osprey 36L with a camera insert as a multi purpose bag.
I use the PM x Nomatic travel backpack every time I travel and it is still so amazing all these years later.
For $400 it better last

The fact that Canon users put up with that wobble in video still amazes me to this day.
I have a similar setup, but I leave the ladder system in (expanded) and just drop a small cube down into the top access section. This creates a nice "seal" along the sides and everything stays in place. In the bottom access section, I use the large divider set configured to carry a grip'd or ungrip'd body with attached lens (no reconfig needed) plus accessories - small drone, speedlight, etc.
It's the most versatile bag I've ever had, love it 😎👍🏻

Ahhhh, this is so relatable "What if" is my enemy sometimes, especially in travel scenerios. I have gotten much better but I still need to catch myself from time to time.
I Watch peter for 2 years now and at the start i tought (this guy is too much) but video after video i start too know the man a little bit more and more ! And naw i was wrong peter have this sparkle and after two years of struggle of personnal moment my mind start too think man be more confident and try it ! And now i try photos and videos for others and they love it !! Just want to thanks Peter to be this little inspiration without knowing !

But that wobble is so bad! I only noticed when you were sitting still and holding the camera. There’s has to be a solution in premiere. I know when I edit video (which is part of job) we put warp stabilizer on most clips, and I’ll turn it 1% instead 50% that is default and it works. But I’m not sure if it would work for what you do. Your stuff is much more intense than mine.
Grabbed my passport and hopped on my bike when this was posted. Went to fill up for a full tank for the ride from Buffalo, did my ArriveCan, got to the gas station and saw that it was gonna already. What a bummer. Congrats to the speedy winner

I get it! I’m on my 4th camera bag, most recently a Lowepro that in theory has great storage but after using it a few months I always feel like it’s not right? The struggle is real 😂 Always appreciate your tips. Cheers

I’ve JUST gone through how I carry, I came to the same conclusion…can’t open the back, I have two R5’s and they need to be available immediately. You gotta have the peak design holster too, literally a life saver especially when I’m shooting with my kids with me.

Pete you just need a smaller bag where a camera fits with all bells and whistles and couple of batteries + card wallet + basic cleaning kit (blower, pen, microfiber). That's it! If you plan to go for a two day + trip - grab large bag and with all extra stuff. I was carrying too much stuff as well but now I'm good with a small size backpack (not a camera bag) or Manfrotto messenger bag.
I live in colorado. I doubt I'd even be close to scoring that bag. But chill video. Congrats to whoever gets there first
