For the same price (49$) I prefer the Travel Kit 2 with the hook and the external pocket for the toothbrush. I just ordered the Dopp Kit 2 (bigger in a rectangular shape) at 39 $ ! 😊
@@AllenMarkel I've had mine for a few months and taken it on 4 or 5 trips. If you're someone that packs heavy with toiletries it's able to fit everything in a fairly compact form factor. I personally would recommend small humangear gotoobs and gotubbs. Once I repackaged everything I was able to fit 1 Facial Soap 1 Facial Ointment Toothpaste 4 types of pills A Philip 1Blade A large electric toothbrush 2 hair Products Deodorant A collapsible hair brush Hope this helps.
I used aer slim pouch as dopp kit but the organization is not for that purpose. So I'd like to have this one! I wish it had a grab handle like that of slim pouch though.
They got rid of my favorite feature (that upright loop for your toothbrush or razor that’s in the Dopp kit 2). It’s nice that it’s smaller than the 2 though. I love the 2 because you can just live out of it like you would a drawer at home. You can set it on the counter, use everything you need to, then move it out of the hotel bathroom. But it’s so huge I only end up filling half of it I feel like. Still better IMO then something like the gravl or bellroy where you have to dump everything out to get to your stuff.
A snall Hero Clip would work great for this bag for hanging it. For me and the way I travel I use two bags because our travels are to and from cruises so this would work great as my carry kit. In my smaller carry kit I keep just what I need to freshen up like face wash, toothbrush, toothpaste, mouthwash, body powder, sunscreen, deodorant, facial moisturizer, and a small brush.
I have the Dopp Kit 2 and I think it’s a great size, I’m surprised AER made the Dopp Kit 3 a smaller capacity bag. The Dopp Kit 2 seems to be no longer sold either so I’m glad I bought it when I did a couple months ago.
So, no hook or other solution to hang it up. That alone just makes it a pass for me. Too many toilets that don't have a sink with room to put a toiletry bag, or a sink that is just too filthy.
@AllenMarkel the size/style of a dopp kit depends entirely on style of pack.. if you're trying to pack in a personal item for Ryanair, Wizz, Air Baltic, etc having a large dopp kit like this takes up a 1/3 of your space.. that's why brands like Peak Design, Nomatic, Gravel all have slim versions.. it's nice to have options
@honigbaer maybe it's just the perspective of the video, but the kit compared to the presenter just looks huge on camera... like the PD wash pouch is way too big and wide for how I like to pack, but their smaller version is nice. I like the Nomatic slim, but AER is a brand I like, so I'm just curious if they'll come out with a slimmer version of this is all
I think if your looking for smaller take a look at the one from gravl. That’s about as small as it gets but somehow holds a lot. Downside to smaller dopps is you have to “unpack” once you arrive. If it’s crammed there is no operating out of it. I find it worthwhile to go a little bigger like this kit and you just put it on the counter, live out of it, and then zip in closed and throw in a hotel drawer or hang it from a towel hook. Especially if you don’t have much counter space. Check out gravl though for tiny Dopp kit that holds a lot. I use it when my bag can’t support a full sized Dopp.

Also it's like 40% larger! More compartments. I think it's a much better buy! Especially at $39😎
how's the travel kit 2? planning to grab the xpac version
@@nekkomr I can’t tell you I’ve just ordered the Dopp Kit 2

Is that the normal size or the X-Pac?
Thank for the demo!

I can't find this on Amazon.

Do they have a slim iteration coming out as well? This dopp kit looks humongous and will take up too much space in a minimal pack
This is smaller than their previous Dopp kit. Why even buy a Dopp kit if this is too big for you?

How minimal do you want to go? This is 1.8 L, so not really getting your point..
