I brought a ceramic rabbit at my local thrift store. The women wrapped it in paper and as she turned back towards me, she hit the side of the counter with the rabbit. We unwrapped and the ear was broken off. It was a clean break. She felt awful. I said, don’t worry, I’ll just glue it back on. I did and to camouflage it even more, I made a small wreath of flowers and glued it around the rabbits head. It looked adorable and you couldn’t tell the ear had been glued back on!
Love the green jadeite set. Don't make the mistake of scaping/removing the vintage ladies...especially if you are going to put them on your site for resale and not for your own use. Keep the character and allow them to be "themselves". They add value to the set and, in a world of plain and bland, they would make the right person very happy indeed :)
I found a ceremic bird with it's tail broken off.....beautiful teal color to match my bedroom decor.....I brought it home and glued the tail on and you can never tell it was broken. I would have had that rabbit with the broken off ear.....so easy to repair.
Yes, it's needlepoint! I know it might be old fashioned, but I have several. I started making a few, my mom saw them & went to town making them as well. I lost her in '18, but have all the ones she made 💗💗
When you see chipping it’s so easy to take spackle and build it back up. Especially if it’s not something that is vintage expensive if it’s just cute, you can restore those so easy.
When you use florals in that dog, you wont even see that chip. You can sand it down some. Try using straight acetone to get the girls off. I loved those green shakers.
I like the salt and pepper shakers just how they are! That’s what makes them cool. Lol But I like eclectic stuff and also I’m a sucker for salt and pepper shakers. Ha
I bought a tooth ornament for my son a few years back. I started a tradition when he was born for Christmas, I buy him a new glass ornament that symbolizes something he has done or achieved. The tooth ornament was given to him after he lost his 1st tooth. I make sure to write the year on the ornament. Last year, I bought him a chess ornament, the knight piece because he joined the chess club at school. He learned how to play all on his own at just 9. One day, he will have his life story in ornaments that he can put on his own tree one day. I have started to write down what each ornament symbolizes so that he will know the story behind each one. Your comment about a dentist wanting the tooth ornament made me laugh.
I have sometimes used air dry clay to fix a chip on something. It usually works pretty good on wood items. Then I just paint it to match with acrylic paint and a small paint brush. Perhaps that would work on the ceramic doggy vase. You could form the piece, glue it on with E6000 and paint it.
I was yelling at my screen telling you to take the dog planter!! Lol i'm a vintage kitsch reseller. My heart was beating so fast! Ahhhhh don't get rid of the pinups on the jadeite shakers 😢
When you have pieces that are moving to much there is a bracket in the shape of a triangle that you can use. It will set together the sides of the wood. You put them under the tables or chair legs. The bracket are good for wood and metal.
Don't remove the pinup girls from the jadeite set! They are unique and can be expensive! Also, the funky cardboard thingy you saw in the beginning is a cat scratcher toy.
Love the pin up salt and pepper as is!!! just my opinion, but consider leaving the graphics and displaying it rotated… if not an option… acetone and a flat edge blade would probably work.
I would take a razor and remove the stickers off or use soap to hell to get it off without damaging the glass. But i did see that there worth more with it on! Good luck
Those salt and pepper shakers are from the 50s I think. I looked them up and they’re going from $15 to $30 depending on who’s selling them. Don’t take the decals off. I think it would ruin their value.

I think the cardboard thing was a cat toy.☺️
Plastic canvas tissue boxes-kind of needlepoint.
Yup, it’s a cat toy.

I would have snatched up that wicker chair for $3.99 in a heartbeat!!! it can go on a porch with a plant sitting in it!
Poor bunny, that was my favorite.
I'd leave the jadiet s & p the way they are
I think I like the salt and pepper shakers the best. Great color!
The blue pottery I believe is a butter dish. I have one very similar

Julie, I can’t believe it, I think somehow I was not subscribed!!! I know I was subscribed!!! Loved the cream and pink tea pot. ♥️
Dog planter was so sweet. 😊

The house picture was awesome find

Hopefully she reads through the comments because someone else in here said they are selling for $49.99 for the pair on Etsy.
I don’t think she reads many of the comments
Love the salt and pepper shakers. Pin ups are unusual are they for sale?
I would love to buy the pin up salt and pepper shakers if you sale them as they are.

I would not take the girls off of the salt and paper shakers. Many people love retro, they will sell
Yeah looked like the style of WW2 nose art on the airplanes.
@@chccooperider1377 yesssss, you are right!
I agree! Not everything has to be taken off or transferred over. If you don't like them that direction, turn them around!
Thanks for rescuing the puppy.😉
Puppy planter was my favorite
I would try acatone on the s& p shakers!!🥰
I’ve used acetone to remove stuff from glass and it works!
Jadeite was my favorite.
I would try a heat gun on the salt and pepper shakers. They are beautiful either way!
Love the jadite salt and pepper shakers!!!
I like your thrift stuffs, the ceramic salt and pepper, the ceramic flower pattern tea pot. 👍💯😃
The salt and pepper shakers, you could try finger nail polish remover.
All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth!😆
The green salt and pepper shakers go for about $26 plus shipping
OMGoodness those cows!!
Don't remove the pinup girls from the jadeite set! They are unique and can be expensive! Also, the funky cardboard thingy you saw in the beginning is a cat scratcher toy.

The little kitty cat😢 lol
I would have painted him black as I have 3 black cats
The blue pottery piece is a butter dish.
What I thought also ,butter dish
Wow! lol I though5 it was a oil. Lamp! Lol, from the ole days
When they put the pictures on the salt and pepper, it makes me wonder if they’re really vintage, or “retro”.
They are definitely reproduction but still sell for good money
Was that a McCoy planter! Oh no!
The paper thing is a cat toy, they chase the little ball that's on the side
I think the pottery tray was incense burner
I think maybe and old slide tray
I thought it looked more like a dirty air filter
It's a cat toy 🤣
I would take a razor and remove the stickers off or use soap to hell to get it off without damaging the glass. But i did see that there worth more with it on! Good luck
The jadite S&P shakers are reproductions… but still very pretty, I too would take off the pinup pics
Razorblade might scrape off that girl & guy from S/P shakers, with a little Goof Off! Love the doggie planter!
Try acetone nail polish remover
I guess is that that round thing is some sort of filter
Collectible liquor decanter
❤
Butter dish
Tri acetone to get off the picture on the JD
All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth?
😂
Heat gun maybe
The liquor decanters, originally had Elephant and Donkey heads, so a political symbol for the two parties.
Those are crab apples
At first I thought that thing was a filter for something but it looks like it may be a cat scratching toy.
Watch you don’t lose those rings in the bins. 🙁💍
magic eraser with hand sanitizer get the pictures off the salt and pepper shakers. I've done it before for a vase. doesn't leave scratch marks either.

Pin up sells - don't take girls off!
