My favorite was the crocheted blanket (afghan). I really like those and just the idea that someone spent the time and patience to make them is amazing to me. I'm so glad you rescued it.
That small basket which is tiered n has holes at the bottom is called Bamboo steamer. That one is a mini version. It comes in so many different sizes. Great for steaming dumplings ,paus ,or even fish. Very handy in Asian kitchen.
The "hedgehog" is a wreath - the feet or ears are the loops or tails (depending upon how you like to arrange your cookies) of the bow you'd create while decorating.
SO many favorite things ! The little wooden 'picks' are markers for plants...I use them all the time. I saw the lid for the 3rd part of the flower basket canisters. It made we wonder if the bottom part was hiding somewhere. (I just can't get behind the crochet stuff. I lived during the time it was popular in the 70's, and I didn't like it then either 😂😂) Anyways...GREAT HAUL !
The pig in the pillow cracked me up. I wasn’t expecting that either. I have that heart pan. I use it on Valentine's day for decor. And we have melted red wax and use jute twine and made heart ornaments with it. Glad you saved the Bible’s and the afghan. You found great cookie cutters and I loved the tapestry pillow too. I can’t believe all that for $35.
Oh my goodness, I loved some of the things you left behind. The cookie cutter that you thought was a hedgehog was actually a wreath with the bow at the top. You sure found some good stuff! We don’t have The Bins near us so I’ve never been to one, but it would be fun to go!
Julie I liked the cookie cutters the best. Please, the crochet items are simply a waste of your money in which we all must abide by RIGHT? Ha Ha, Love your taking us with you today.
Julie, I was at my local bins today and found a beautiful crocheted blanket. I crochet so I like to rescue them. Well, a worker came up to me as I was holding it up and told me that I couldn’t buy it because they aren’t allowed to sell blankets or sheets at the bins anymore! She said it was a new thing but it has to do with hygiene and being in with all of the clothes. She said the regular Goodwills can sell them because they are hung up there. It makes zero sense to me and I’m not a fan of this new rule. They were removing blankets from people at the check out. I mean, we already expect to have to thoroughly wash and clean anything from there so I can’t understand it. 🤷🏻♀️
That’s really a weird new rule. What difference does it make if it’s with the clothes? Do the clothes have cooties? Like you said, you’re going to wash everything anyway. Someone thought up a really stupid idea!
Thank you so much for letting me know that they were two different channels. I don’t know how I lost that channel but I used to watch designs and signs all the time.
I think the heart pan is from Wilton which makes mixed metal serve ware pieces. (I think a mix of pewter and aluminum, very durable stuff. But whatever you do , do not put it in the dish washer.
In the 1950's my granny would make one of the crocheted characters for new babies in the church.. nobody would hurt her feelings about how creepy they were.😊
The crewel embroidery was special. In the 1970’s crewel embroidery was a favorite hobby for many of us.
I just love it when you say “I need that”
My aunt used to say “it’s so ugly, it’s cute”😂 I think that saying applies to some of the homemade dolls.
I love the tea engraved tea tin
The tiny little jewelry box is adorable!! ❤❤❤
The little 'bamboo' thing is a mini steamer.
Fav - tapestry pillow ❤
Cookie cutters look good on an evergreen wreath for Christmas
Oooh what a cute idea😊
The Christmas M&M can is my fav. Brings back warm memories.
Love the tapestry pillow, the sunflower crewel, the tea tin, and the crochet afghan! All of that would be added to my decor.
One man’s trash is another’s treasure for sure. I would have loved that greenery. 😊
My favorite was the crocheted blanket (afghan). I really like those and just the idea that someone spent the time and patience to make them is amazing to me. I'm so glad you rescued it.
The artwork is Yosemite Valley! Well done !
The landscape art, and tapestry
The heart pan is Wilton Armetale…heavy pewter, nice expensive stiff

❤ I APPRECIATE THAT YOU STREAMLINE YOUR CHOICES THROUGHOUT THE PAST YEAR!
This may be my favorite video of yours! You got great kooky & kitchy stuff! Thanks Julie.
The cream and white I believe is longaberger pottery.

The pillow is amazing
Love the little footed brass and glass box ✨
Isn’t that called a cricket box?
@@lisaroberts1729 i think a cricket box is all brass with perforations
You hit the jackpot girl. I love everything you picked up and agree with what you left behind.
The pillow is my favorite!!

You always find such fun things. While some people see junk, some of us see the potential!!!

I would love to buy the squirrel ! ❤🐿️
My favoriye piece is the crewel picture you found. I love it!
That 70s afghan! Those things do have a market niche.
Would love to have a couch using the same tapestry of the pillow
Not every body thinks clowns are creepy those little clowns on the mobile are cute and happyn
I agree about the cuteness. I crochet, so I know the time it took to make that. I don't know what the issue is with clowns anyway.
@@marlahanks7278
People probably think about the movie “IT” that has a paranormal killer clown. 🤡
The 2 creamy pieces with dots are Longaberger pottery I am pretty sure.
Stunning tapestry sewing fabric
The squirrel is bronze . From 60’s and 70’s.
You found lots of fun things 😊
That framed art looks like antique art though I guess it’s a reproduction. Love the tea tin!
I laughed so hard at this video when the clowns popped up! 😂😂😂😂😂 Other great finds though!
Crewel embroidered pillow & the copper squirrel are my favorites.
My favorites are the crochet dolls. So cute.
Omg superhaul!
The creamer/sugar bowl would look good in my collection!
Handmade always gets me so I do pick those up 💕💕💕💕 love your videos
I literally have the SAME PRINT on my mantle 😂
Since the painting will be in the boys bathroom, be careful with moisture. It can destroy the piece.
That Afghan is absolutely retro 70s...and that piggy doll.....Miss Piggy
Loved the artwork
Really good finds today!!
Was the framed print by Ansel Adams...a picture from Yosemite??? He's awesome!!!! He made photographs in the 1920s!! Very collectible!!
O didn’t get a good look at the artwork but it may be Yosemite Valley on CA.
Although I truly enjoy your Thrifting shopping trips, I would love to see more DIY’s with what you purchase. They give me such inspiration.
Hey, I actually have a whole nother channel for that!! go subscribe to @juliesdesignsandsigns I have a new one coming out tomorrow!
Thank you so much for letting me know that they were two different channels. I don’t know how I lost that channel but I used to watch designs and signs all the time.

The dolls were scary 😨. Good haul girl
The framed artwork❣️
Great finds❤
Love the pivture and the pillow the most I'd have to say no to the clowns lol
Maybe the heavy squirrel is a paper weight?? Good finds!
You could make those wooden tags into cash register key lookalikes
Could you flip the riser over and use the broken piece under the flat riser? Then the bottom would be unbroken.
Yes girl get the good first!!!
Love the print!
That picture was a score
Love the brass pieces ❤️ what did the Owl do (once plugged in) ?
The crouched
Is this in hernando?
Put the cookie cutters in your Christmas bag
Its blue willow i have a big set.
Look for the 3 guys in a boat, that is a clue it's blue willow
I think it's 3??
❤
I love the lil cookie cutters
The art is a picture of El Capitan at Yosemite National Park
How can you purchase those creepy face dolls? I would have nightmares they would come to life and bite me.😮
In the 1950's my granny would make one of the crocheted characters for new babies in the church.. nobody would hurt her feelings about how creepy they were.😊
The eyes on the crocheted bear are closed. The eyelashes are below the blue circle.
I thought he was especially cute 👍
The crocheted dolls are creepy 😳
Le tableau qu'elle tristesse et que de kitsch, vous nous aviez habitué à beaucoup beaucoup mieux.
Sorry, but that clown is creepy AH. It would give me nightmares. 🤡😳
Not a hedgehog. It's a christmas wreath. I have one.
Can't get into the crocheted dolls, clowns etc. Creepy!
They would fit well in a Twilight Zone episode. Yes. Really creepy. Can you imagine looking at those things when you can't sleep?
It's a shame that clowns are so scary to people simply because of a movie and a serial killer. Those two events do not depict all clowns.
Yes do not toss bibles...ministries will use them. Some ship to overseas English speaking countries...
Amen! It's too precious!
Amen I agree no trashing God's Word. ☺️🙌🏼
My goodwill bins do not charge for Bibles ❤
Amen so many people could use the Bible to read and study
