I loved Singapore! I was their in 2007. I stayed at a hotel on Bencoolen Street. I was very surprised how modern and up to date it was!?! It reminded me a lot of NYC, where I’m from but cleaner. Enjoy your life in the most beautiful country in the world.

Haha, it's a separate tub and shower stall. That's why there was no shower curtains. Unlike in Canada, where most homes, and hotel have the tub and shower combo, with the shower head over the tub, but at slightly above a person's height.

No shower curtain due to it is supposed to be used as a tub. ..lol
Yah....i thought it funny when she said there was no shower curtains. It is a bathtub for you to soak yourself in. But being Canadian, i know why she was confused. Most homes and hotels in Canada have shower cum tub combo..which in that case, you would need a shower curtain. The shower head would be over the tub, but at a person's height, not low as in that hotel she's staying.
Some likes to shower instead of using the tub. The curtain will tuck into the tub itself so that the floor can be kept dry
Oh and I noted that there is a separate shower cubicle. So you are right.

As a man, I often think that the caning that is imposed in Singapore as a deterrent to sex crime (and other crimes as well) is probably a very effective way of promoting safety and respect for women. Lol.. Every country has their own good and bad points. As the comment above me mentioned, neither country is perfect but both Singapore and Canada are equally great countries. I think you should visit the world more to see how privileged people are in Singapore.
