I'm so glad you show us how to do stuff like this. The concept maybe be easy but doing it may not. I knew you could do it. But showing us gives the rest of us, hope that we can do it.😊

Great job Adelina! I fixed my breakfast and coffee in preparation to be able to sit down and watch my Sunday special with Adelina and Sophie!
Great job on the "tree trimming!"
Just a little FYI, safety goggles and a hard hat might be very beneficial. I know that it was just smaller stuff that you were cutting, but from that height, if something fell, it could do some damage to an eye...you are always safety conscious, I just thought I'd
" throw that out there" lol
Thanks for sharing and I hope that you have a blessed week! 🥰

Are you able to be on the roof? I wondered if you could get up there from the other end, which is lower, and used clippers. Your purchase will probably come in very handy with your location and all the trees. I hope you sleep better now that the branch is gone. 🙂I would start asking friends and neighbors about recommendations for mechanics to find your new favorite. I know it can be hard.

    Breakfast looks delicious.
Played it safe and did a good job. You might contact Fiskars and inquire if they have any rebates. Be sure and fill out the product review. State why you purchased and the ease of use, etc. Let them know you would have purchased the $$ battery one if you had a rebate for the battery!!! hint hint. Companies read those reviews.
Home Depot should honored after the purchase with a gift card.
One chore down. More to follow. Have a great week.

Adelina , when you want your ladder
to be level just put some wood under
the feet! My husband has small blocks
that he says-"don't throw these out"!I
need them for the ladder! So,there you
go,for next time! Don't forget there are
"odd job guys!" that love to help out
people in need!😊. We have a group in
our town that are very obliging -some
jobs are free and some cost a reason-
able price! Keep well and don't forget
to talk to the locals for useful tidbits!

Once it sees it eliminates it - therefore DON’T FORGET is translated as DO FORGET. I would like to suggest positive reinforcement use REMEMBER to Subscribe. I often; say to my spouse Remember your keys. Remember your sunglasses. Remember your wallet. And it works! You get the idea. Use it as a test run! Make sure if they rotate your tires they tighten the lug nuts. I had CT do mine and I had a wheel almost fall off on the highway 😮 Go back in a week and have them recheck the nuts as recommended by a tire guy. I use Kal Tire shop not CT. They seem to be good and fairly priced.

Kaltire now pretorques (I think that's the term they used) the tires, so one doesn't need to return to have them retorqued. I just had mine done at Kaltire a couple of days ago, but haven't had to get them retorqued for I think three seasonal swaps now.

Would have been cheaper to go to a store that you can rent equipment whether it's a ladder or a tree trimming device like you purchased it would have been cheaper probably would have been cheaper just to hire somebody to come out and trim any branches hanging over your roof or even asked the neighbor if they had a ladder Heck if I had been daring enough stood on the roof of my van but I always go to a store where I can rent equipment first cheaper and then I don't have to store the equipment I spent a lot of money on and only need once or twice a year

@@barbarab202 I said what I said it would have been cheaper to hire somebody to trim a few trees or asking a neighbor to borrow a ladder and trim them yourself. And it would have saved a lot of money because it was expensive to buy that trimmer which will not be used very often could have gone to a rental store and rented the piece of equipment for probably 20 bucks for a full 24 hours instead of now having to store the equipment in your tiny house. I didn't say anything about doing it or not doing it for yourself I gave suggestions that would have been a lot cheaper and easier. Hi! Nope, I felt nothing here. In fact until your message I didn't even know there had been one 🤷🏻‍♀️😊.
Apparently they are fairly common and there is no tsunami expected. According to the news "Earthquakes happen fairly regularly off the BC coast, thanks to the Juan de Fuca tectonic plate meeting the Pacific tectonic plates, and they are rarely large enough to be felt or noticed by humans."

Adelina, I've been a subscriber for a long time now. I feel i always comment positively....
Could you answer a question for me? I ask it in the most respectful way...why do vegans cook with pretend meat? I mean isn't the point of veganism to avoid meat in their diet? So why do they need a 'visual' of meat-like or a texture that tries to mimic meat? Why the veggie sausages, tofu, egg substitute, etc.? I just don't understand this and have wondered this forever. Your explanation is greatly appreciated.
It's like vegans work so hard at replacing something they took away from themselves in the first place. The only scenario that would make sense is a vegan who wants meat but their body, immune system, or digestive system can't handle it.
    Thank you kindly! 🌸

    • @myBIGtinyhouselife
      @myBIGtinyhouselife  2 місяці тому +4

I'm happy to answer your question for myself, I can't speak for others. Since you asked sincerely I'll tell you exactly. Trigger warning.
I grew up eating meat and went vegan because of the animals. I learned of the horrible conditions they endure and could no longer allow my taste buds to be more important than another creatures life. So I find ways to replicate the foods and tastes from my past in a more humane way. Most vegans don't give up bacon because they don't like the taste. They do it because a pig is as smart as a 4 year old child and they suffer terribly in factory farm conditions. And even 'pastured' cows still end up at the same slaughter houses, terrified, getting a bolt through their brains so they can be immobilized, and hung upside down to have their throat slit and blood drained. Usually the bolt doesn't kill them so they die hanging there. Chickens, even 'free range' live in such horrible conditions that they are fed antibiotics with their feed to keep disease down. They are bred to grow so fast their little legs often can't hold them up. They live in squalor and die in terror. Once I did the research for myself I could no longer put that in my body.
I normally keep my thoughts to myself and let others make their own choices. However you asked me for my honest thoughts so there you go. I find easy ways to replicate foods without hurting anyone, including animals.
