Mr. Squire references Victor Borge’s interruptions during Shep’s bit on The Tonight Show, which is much like an uncomfortable interview he did on a local TV show (on UA-cam but I don’t recall where). Shep was plugging a book or PBS show or something, and he was unwilling or unable to handle the typical Q and A of an interview.
