- Disney evidently thinks Star Wars is still alive, because I'm told that yesterday they held a meeting about how to save Star Wars. My Hollywood spies tell me one key idea came out of that meeting, and if this is true, it is absolutely PATHETIC! Check out their Baldrick-esque cunning plan to fix Star Wars! #disney #starwars #lucasfilm

The people that killed star wars cannot save star wars
Lol right.
@@jabrockobiden9434 This is objectively true.
that's a fact!
Too bad Disney only believes in "their truth" which is fantasy when they think it and lies when they communicate it.
"No problem was ever resolved by those who created it."
Imagine the stupidity of discussing "how to fix" Star Wars with the people who...destroyed Star Wars. Asinine.
Agreed. That must have been an interesting conversation. How do you get KK to admit Star Wars needs fixing?
Bingo.
170 like keep 69 dude
Same situation with the shareholder vote: Disney board claimed to be able to fix it, when they are the ones who broke it in the first place!
I’m sure this meeting didn’t even happen . This channel is so unreliable.
Step 1: FIRE Kathleen Kennedy .
Step 0: Use time machine to prevent Lucas from making the prequels. Er...no...prevent Lucas from putting the Ewoks in ROTJ. 🤣🤣
Already failed at step 1. KK can't be fired because she knows who went to that Island some years back.
Maybe she was there too@@sygmarvexarion7891
Step One: Hoping the Trial finds something illegal from KK email correspondence. Then you can fire her ass.
Wrong. Step 1 is fire Bob Iger.
As an Ex-Employee, Bob Iger surrounded himself with loyal syncophants. HR fired everyone that was creative and didn't support his DEI dreams. I saw this at every level of management. Toxic work environment doesn't begin to describe what Bob Iger has done to this company. As long as he dictates with an iron fist, nothing will ever change.
Bob this is just my stepping stone into politics Iger
could shareholders sue for breach of fiduciary duty by making content that doesn't sell?
Creativity dies with a thunderous applaus...
Good that you got away. If you're not with them...then you are the enemy. Sounds like any 'ism'. It will lead to bankruptcy.
They can and they should@@dermie52
This rings true. The rot shown in Star Wars is also shown in most other Disney franchises. That means the source of the rot is not a person like KK. Nor could KK have done what she has done without strong support from top management.
And I even doubt Iger is the source of the rot. He still has the support from the big investors, it seems -- the people whose job it is to fire a CEO who is sinking a company into the ground, to protect their investments.
As long as KK is in charge, there is no hope for Starwars. As long as Disney owns Starwars, there is very little hope.
so what you're saying is....SW be fukked? lolz
Elon Musk..., Plz 🙏 Purchase 💰 Star ⭐⚔ Wars!!
Solution....
1. Fire Kathleen Kennedy.
2. Fire Lettuce Licker Headland.
3. Hell, fire everyone and hire genuine, talented writers and directors.
4. ummm, nah - they're screwed regardless.
By now? Yes. Most are no longer boycotting because they are bad. They are boycotting because disney.
Solution no:5 sell the franchise to the WB and HBO max already. They are our only hope to save Star wars ip.

Unless they uncanonized the Disney Star Wars and completely start over with the original and prequel there's no way to saving the franchise
And if they wanna recoup revenue, just slap the OG trilogy back in theaters for a week or two.

I do agree with you though.
What a waste of Carrie and the OGs time together.

Nothing coming out of Disney excites me... except Deadpool 3... a bit... and I'm still NOT going to go see it.
As for LucasFilm... I've been done with them since shortly after TLJ came out.
Ya, I’m over it at this point. Sad bc I still love OG Star Wars, just not the fanfic it’s become.

Straight White Men made that franchise and are what kept it going. You can’t fix it without us. Best wishes.
Creativity comes in all colors.
@Sephiroth1550 I thought it was all the creative people that gave life to GLs childish vision. Hmmm were they all white and straight?? I'm sure there were a few gays in that bunch. In fact there are a lot of gays in the creative arts and entertainment field hmmmm.
_TALENTED_ people made that franchise. Their gender and color was completely irrelevant unless Disney suddenly started hiring based on nothing but those traits. Which they did.
@@m.gittens882 Perhaps it does, but there are levels to creativity. Historically speaking, if white people didn't make it, they then improved on it and made it better. We are the most diverse group of humans on this planet and we are also the real minority.

It's probably why he bought Knighthood. he's trying to compensate himself for all of these failures so that he can flash something and laugh, even though he BOUGHT Knighthood, not earned it.
That's like me buying a trophy and putting it on my shelf to show people. but Iger doesn't care. why? he still has it. that's good enough for him.
I can't believe they're spending more money on Star Wars. They should've sold it after the sequel trilogy.
Try daily emergency meetings. We only hear about the weekly ones

Haha. Good comment 😅
They are arming the wrong question. The question is how can they save Disney. They have no pulse on Disney fans. They have lost trust.
1. Fire KK, and the rest of the woke managers and writers
2. Hire competent people
3. Delete the "Star Wars" Disney has made so far and start over.

Even if you delete Star Wars, Carrie Fisher is dead, Harrison Ford isn’t interested in Star Wars and no AI voice is ever gonna bring Carrie back. The only way is to correct the lore through a book that’s not only canon but it’s what fans love more than that succubus Kathleen Kennedy and Bob Iger made. For anyone who hates the prequels and Rogue One saying that they’re not good or that they’re woke, they are lying to themselves and are crybabies. The sequels and the Acolyte are dog💩.
They’ll never admit that there DEI SHOWS is the problem, aren’t they?
That would be admitted the Agenda isn't working/is facing resistance.
Too busy looking for more DEI actors that can complain about supposed death threats and racist comments, since that's the only thing close to positive hype Star Wars can get now "actor sympathy".
Not in public they won't. Behind closed doors Iger probably will, but then again he does have a massive ego, so he will never do what needs to be done. Decanonization of EVERYTHING Disney has released since 2012, admit failure, put the IP on ice for a decade and maybe then start anew from where George left it in 2012. His ego will NEVER allow him to do it.
How to save Star Wars? That's easy. Take it away from Disney.
Exactly sell Lucasfilm to Elon Musk and he’ll license rights to several studios like A24 Universal Toho etc
Sell it to Elon Musk.
If you want it to grow. Otherwise, just enjoy the good from the past and ignore disney SW fanfic. I'm happy for them to throw away more money on the IP though, those coffers need draining.
How did they think this would succeed? We all know that Leslie has zero talent and Kennedy has even less.
They’re just stuffing their pockets as they head for the exits at this point
The people in charge of Disney live in another dimension of delusion altogether. Their thinking, perception of reality and worldview does not share the same dimension we live in.
Some people make great coffee and know secrets that need to be kept in the ark under lock and key.
Others work great when collaborating with great, creative people.
With Headland and Kennedy, I honestly think they both have the same traits that I mention! I'm sure they both know such secrets that Hollywood thinks, "Keep your friends close, and keep your enemies even closer and employed."
@@BenFrankartsEither that or they know where the bodies are buried.
Disney knows that they won’t make hardly any money from these woke movies, but as long as the biden admin keeps subsidizing them to promote their political agenda , they don’t care
Definition of insanity, doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.
Step 5. REMOVE Bob Iger. Step 6. REMOVE the Disney board. Step 7. REMOVE all female and woke directors and actor actresses, writers, and producers. Step 8. BURN all the non-canon Star Wars footage. Step 9. Apologize to all the Star Wars fans for defying their demands.
Absolutely spot on 💯 %.
Black Rock: Nuh-uh.
This is literally that boardroom meeting meme where they throw out the one guy with a good idea lol
They've been doing it continually for years now. It's how they got pretty much everything they did. (Somehow Rogue One slipped through it seems.)
@Sorain1 who ever said Rogue One was a good idea? Sure it may be the one Star Wars movie made by Disney that sucked the least, but that doesn't mean it was good
@@riftshredder5438
I want to say it was a bad idea with great execution. Probably the least interesting and most unnecessary premise for a Star Wars movie on paper, but IMO they did the whole “sacrifice in the face of inevitable doom” in a way that was enjoyable to watch. I didn’t have high hopes going into the theatre, but I left it feeling good; which is more than I can say for any of the sequel trilogy movies.
If they still don't know that Kennedy is the problem and they need to replace her, then there is no hope for such a clueless company.
The problem isnt them not knowing its her, its them not being willing or able to get rid of her.
The root of the problem resides higher than KK. KK is a useful and very effective stooge. Hence her not being fired, or forced to take accountability... at least not until it becomes convenient that she do so.
Iger is a total idiot too. Good job bringing him back in to guide whats left of this trash heap into the ground
The rot spreads far beyond her. And even if you cut out all the cancer, there's really no healthy tissue left. Anyone of talent has long since been chased out, and that takes years to cultivate. Decades for the institutional knowledge.
Breaking: "Disney declares creative bankruptcy. Fiscal bankruptcy date remains T.B.D."

Literally the only thing Disney could do is completely clean house at Lucasfilm and retcon everything they have made since they obtained the franchise.
Ya unfortunately they’d never retcon the third trilogy. Their direction has had more to do with subverting the franchise, so why would they revert those deliberate changes?
With the exception of Rogue One and Andor, yeah.
Keep the Mandalorian too, maybe just seasons 1-2 canon as I think they've done a third season now and it didn't go over well?

Disney's idea is always to quadruple down on what didn't work before and then blame the fans when it sucks.
Then end up hiring new people eventually when they realize they're in trouble 5+ years down the road. They're just really stubborn about keeping most people on board for Star Wars because they're likely afraid nobody outside of the original connected projects can do anything good with it when it sounds like the reverse is true.
Bizarre how the new business model is delivering a crap product then blaming the customer as though they are entitled to success.
I believe you misheard the reason for the meeting. It was probably 'How do we MILK Star Wars for the rest of our 4 Billion', because that is what they use live action remakes for. Also, with cost overruns so great, I really doubt they could make any money actually doing all the special effects that a live action remake would require.
A live-action rehash of Clone Wars? Oh, I'm sure they'll make "improvements", like gender and color-flipping every single damned character. Mark my words.
How would they even do that, considering the clones are of a guy who's much too old to play the role?

Like Doctor Who took a 19 year break, it's time for Star Wars to go on an extended break.
Preferably forever, the story it wanted to tell has been told and it's up to us to tell the next one. Create greatness as if your enemies don't exist.
that can literally not happen. the cost was too great to buy it to let it languish. Add to that the theme parks spending a crap-ton of money on the Galaxys Edge additions.. Doctor Who going into a break was after a few years of low-ish ratings (for the time) and actors quitting the role or whatever.
They can meet until Atlantis rise up from the depths of the sea. Star Wars under Disney and Kennedy is DEAD. Disney cannot accept this failure due to their hubris, agenda, and incompetency.
But hey, keep blaming the fans, call them names, all while trying to switch and bait them back with 'member-berries. Because that's been working out perfectly. 🙄

Live action clone wars remake MIGHT have worked if they had tried it 7 or 8 years ago, you know... BEFORE they malignantly told the entire fan base to get fucked... but now? Far too little... far too late.
Yes, and it would be very expensive to do. Not only that but they are going to need a younger Haden, a younger McGregor and a younger Sam Jackson etc, they will have to recast them which will be hard as McGregor as Kenobi was iconic in that role and the same with Jackson. Any old plank would do as Amidala and Anakin etc but they would all be different from the films and from the Tv series, they would be able to use Dawson as Ahsoka either.
@@Simon-xc5oy not to mention look at how Dave Filoni managed the Ahsoka show.

@@overlordsombra5495 Yes. I was thinking this morning that it would be nice to see a live action Clone Wars. I watched some of the Clone Wars then left it and the went back and watched the rest for completist reasons. I cant say I was ever a huge fan of Ahsoka. And the idea that a volatile Padawan, who the council are wary of and mistrust and do not really want to train, ends up with a learner of his own. It felt a bit ridiculous to me. And she was put there to fill out the Clone Wars characters and give Anakin more to do, more depth to him etc...which I can understand, but still....
Anyway after all the utter garbage from Disney Star Wars, do you really trust KK to let a good version of the Clone Wars in live action happen? Then it might be worth doing...
@@merafirewing6591 I know. They would have to find the right looking cast to play the leads for a start. All the Clone Wars cartoon characters were voiced by other people pretending to be the McGregor Kenobi etc...they would have to find and cast the right actors. And as you say after Ahsoka I dont think Filoni could do it. And I dont trust Disney either they would mess it up. It could work if they did stories that were not in the cartoons I suppose but I doubt they would get it even close to right after seeing Kenobi and Fett series etc...I think a Clone Wars live action is pie in the sky at the moment. It would end up costing more than Acolyte as well. With multiple locations etc. Unless they set it all on one planet and did a series about a platoon of clones stationed there week by week and kept locations limited. But we have seen all of that sort of thing in the cartoon and Bad Batch etc...
