I must say you are a very talented pattern designer. I just found your channel and was impressed with how simple it looks. I like the fabric choices too. Very nice.
This could be a beautiful Christmas quilt making the flowers as poinsettias with the leaves (no butterflies) with a silver and white background or shades of golds
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this quilt pattern is just so incredibly pretty! I was thinking of the new Tilda line Bloomsville would look fabulous xxxxxxxxx
Hi Connie, Thank you! The Flutterby Frolic kit is still available. You can find it here: www.kristamoser.com/product-page/flutterby-frolic-fabric-kit-with-free-pattern. (Admin).
Sa usual, I just love this quilt! As I was watching this, I was wondering... how can I shrink this down to baby quilt size??? Then I took a peek at the pattern description, and found that you had already thought of this! Thank you! I'll definitely be ordering it soon! Such a simple, elegant pattern to get this little baby girl off to a beautiful start!
Another UNIQUELY ADORABLE pattern! I love ❤ it!! What a talent you have. I have really gotten into Gnomes lately, that would be a good idea for another new pattern….😉.
I have seen some of the cutest gnome quilts out there! I doubt I could do anything as cute as Ive seen :) But I'll think about it cause I love them too!
It is like a puzzle! But no Y seams or anything crazy :) I wish I was teaching this one at Road... I am teaching five others and who knows, now that this one is out maybe they will want to swap something. Or there's always next years classes.
I was just thinking this would be a fun sew along! But I have a super busy next few months and the patterns I have in mind for later in the year would also make a great sew along! I need more time in my days!!
You bet Rita! Just make extra background blocks and put them in where the butterflies are. You'll need a total of twelve background triangles to do that swap :)
I really like this pattern. Those definitely aren't my colors though. I'm going to order the pattern but just wonder if the striped hexagons are "jelly roll" friendly? I want to use low volume whites and creams.
I love that idea! You could use jelly roll strips, but you will have to cut them down a little. Low volume is really nice, I did the wall size with light blue and cream strips and that turned out pretty too.
I think so! You get a strip 6" to cut down to a 4 1/2". The bigger background pieces have even more room, more like 4-5". Is that enough for your process?
Beautiful quilts, great designs and you are a very talented teacher.
Thank you so much Janice!

They are easy! And they make the most impressive blocks :)
Beautiful 🤩. I'd go with the grey background since I'm not a fan of 💚🍏. Great video.....thanks 😊👍💕

Love your teaching methods. So easy for a beginner to understand.
Yes! I love making things that look hard suddenly become doable in people's minds :)
Beautiful quilt! Thank you for showing the partial seam
You bet Marcia! It really opens up so many different quilt ideas when you know how to do those seams!
Saw you pop up and dropped everything! This quilt is darling!! Adding it to list of quilts for my daughter ❤

Whatever you do next it’ll be special. Always is. 😊😊
Love this quilt, Krista! It’s like a puzzle😊Will you be teaching this at Road 2 CA in Jan. 2024?
It is like a puzzle! But no Y seams or anything crazy :) I wish I was teaching this one at Road... I am teaching five others and who knows, now that this one is out maybe they will want to swap something. Or there's always next years classes.
Well, you have done it again! Just beautiful. Going to be on my "to make" list. Your videos really help! Any chance for a sew along?
I was just thinking this would be a fun sew along! But I have a super busy next few months and the patterns I have in mind for later in the year would also make a great sew along! I need more time in my days!!
Omg … I need to figure out if Biggy would fit in this quilt too.
The small bees will fit! The ones from Bumblebee Blossoms.
I absolutely love this design! I think I'm going to make this quilt using Hawaiian prints. Thank you for sharing, aloha!🌺
Ooooooh!! I love this idea!! Gosh I wanna see pics when you are done!
Hi Krista, is it possible to omit the butterfly? I love this quilt and your color choices! I’m ordering the kit.
You bet Rita! Just make extra background blocks and put them in where the butterflies are. You'll need a total of twelve background triangles to do that swap :)
Sounds like a plan, thank you!
Can the butterfly block be interchangeable with the bumblebee or ladybug and use any of these 3 combinations in either quilt pattern?
Yes! They all finish at the same size, so they would be interchangeable!
Are the kits generous enough to starch or allow a little stink age with pre-starching. I’m interested in the kit.
I think so! You get a strip 6" to cut down to a 4 1/2". The bigger background pieces have even more room, more like 4-5". Is that enough for your process?
Is this pattern available in the uk or available digitally?
Yes it is! Both options are linked in the description box above!
