Hey all! I know what those of you who have seen my review of Monark may be thinking; however, regardless of my personal opinions on the game, many will not feel the same and/or will still want to give it a try. And since it is a game I have beaten and obtained the True Ending for, I'd like to help out those who dive into Monark as best I can so that their experience is as enjoyable as possible.
I found that it could be beneficial to also to get Sloth early as well for the boosts or getting Wrath. Fullside and Optimize Crit is just godsend against various bosses. Wrath gets the benefit of Attack and Def up skills as well as getting buffs while being attacked, and this can be passed over to other characters as well. They also gain Rebuke, which allows you to hit a character. This also enables you to get Awakened if you don’t want to defer and get them into madness by accident. (Been there done that.) I do see the benefit for Lust. I will definitely test out that method and see for myself. I just keep on getting wrath and sloth, so I never get lust until mid to late. Managing Madness can also helpful to quickly enlighten other characters (ESPECIALLY SHINYA, AS HE CANNOT USE SKILLS TO RAISE MADNESS WITHOUT RESONANCE OR DEFERS TO HIM) and use their powers to get some nice damage. I do agree with not buying a single thing from Vanitas, just use them as the dismantle bot. But skill resets could be useful if you need to, I did do so and by the time it hits there, I already have plenty of skill points from Fertile Grounds to just… return to the previous level. But yeah. Skill Leveling is important. I do press that you should get MC up as high as possible. Animakinesis scales off luck. Envy benefits from not being high leveled due to Law of the Jungle. You can make a whole gimmick around Law of the Jungle through Skill Point resets, Party Resonance and just Envy being there. I did a test with a level 1 legion using Law of the Jungle against a level 71 legion and the normal damage without buffs was 1,168, 1,185 with just one crit up. But I do agree with your points, and will be subscribed to your channel for your great content.
I just got this recently, and found it impossible to play. My highest level character is only level 10, while all the enemies I’m facing are 12-15, and they can kill me with two hits. It probably doesn’t help that I got the Sloth fiend instead of Lust (in fact, my initial Lust score was 0)…
Yeah, I made tips videos for those who do enjoy it but personally I hated this game; only reason I finished it was so I could make accurate content. One of my biggest gripes is that Monark forces grinding -- the level disparity as you progress gets worse as you move on and just doing main story stuff won't provide enough experience.
Thanks for these tips. I approached this game with a very conservative playstyle already, calling the phone number immediately and going back to the nurse repeatedly. You aren't the first person to recommend Lust for the ranged attacks, but you are definitely the first to warn against resetting a member's SP for 80%. That always sounded fishy to me, and I'll take your word for it. Can't wait to play when NISA decides to ship the dang LE's already!
Yeah the order you get them in is dependent on your highest morality parameter at the time a Fiend would be given to you, so getting those first is entirely possible.
@@Exeonnecroz Uh, reset every single battle you do in which either Lust/Greed isn't the highest until it is. Honestly it's not worth it as it's close to impossible.
From the evaluations can you raise your lust then? Also I have a pretty high pride just from playing through and picking whatever answer I wanted, is that legion useful?
Fiends are given as specific times: prologue, after Nozomi's section, after all 3 of the other character's sections are done, after the final section in part 1, after completing one section in part 2, after completing 2 sections in part 2, and after completing 3 sections in part 2. As for which fiend you get, that is determined entirely based on which fiend's you already have and your Ego parameter. The only one that you can realistically control though is the very first one.
@@RozalinGaming thank you so much! I really thought I was cutting corners while playing the game. I really appreciate your help and look forward to future videos on monark
"Fertile Grounds" have huge Spirit payouts. Once you have Lust, Purgatorial Furnace and excessive abuse of defer can render entire zones of enemies trivial.

You're a great guy for doing so, really. Your videos are really enjoyable even when they're about games I'm not personally playing
Great content, always appreciate your videos

Thanks for the tips. Playing the full game so far has been pretty good 🔥
Gracias, about to start this game
The awkward moment when I naturally got Lust 👀
Well damn, i got Wrath due to not knowing instead of Lust. Oh well, i'll gain access to that eventually.
Got lust the first time. Just answered honestly 🥴

Me: *factory reset the first three human members* uh...uhoh
Thanks
Funny Greed and Lust are the only fiends i have at the moment im only on the second pact bearer
Yeah the order you get them in is dependent on your highest morality parameter at the time a Fiend would be given to you, so getting those first is entirely possible.
How exactly can I get both Lust and Greed in the beginning of possible?
It's not impossible, but pretty close to guarantee the second fiend you get.
@@RozalinGaming how can I archive such power?
@@Exeonnecroz Uh, reset every single battle you do in which either Lust/Greed isn't the highest until it is. Honestly it's not worth it as it's close to impossible.
@@RozalinGaming I can see how time consuming that would be.
Thank you
This game seems so unfair...i am in the end and enemies are 50++++ where to farm easily;;;

I just started playing monark, and defeated sin of envy but his fiend didn't drop. When do I get the other fiends
Fiends are given as specific times: prologue, after Nozomi's section, after all 3 of the other character's sections are done, after the final section in part 1, after completing one section in part 2, after completing 2 sections in part 2, and after completing 3 sections in part 2. I would definitely love a grinding tutorial! Is it cheating if I looked up the phone numbers?
Nah, it's not cheating. In fact, if you choose to get the True Ending, the game has a tutorial recommending you do just that.

Question is there romance in the game?
Nope.
