4:10 You can narrow down even more that final list. Titi, marmoset and tamarin monkeys are among the smallest monkeys species (squirrel size) , so that bones are waaaaay to big for one of those.
First thought primate based on the hands + tail. Thought it would be a Lemur at first because they didn't include the skull as that would immediately distinguish it from any other type of primates.
hey, so currently I’m studying a bachelor of science and I’m majoring in wildlife biology hoping to be a zoologist or ecologist. What is your particular profession? I find this extremely interesting and was curious what field you are in? Thankyou!
1:43 That's the thing.. If you look at human skeletons like a NORMAL HUMAN SKELETON! The feet looks exactly like a hand, our toe bones are REALLY long and are covered by flesh and skin, if the "toe bones" as I call it shown it's actual length our foot would probably a little ball of flesh and skin with SUPER long toes.
As soon as I saw the bones I was like "oh yeah that's a monkey" and I was specifically thinking of the Americas when I said that too. So hey. Not half bad.
I thought it was a lemur at first glance of that tail. Then I thought spider monkey when ((you showed a picture of a lemur)) we got a close look at the hand. Wouldn’t have guessed wooly monkey, because I’ve actually never heard of them!!😅 Congrats on teaching me a new animal! That’s extremely rare lol! Been going to zoos and museums and consuming animal content my whole life and I’m in my 30s. I get most of the speed runs too lol. But, hey, I’m in Los Angeles. I’ll ask a round and see if they’ll send you the skull 😂❤
Yeeaaaaahhhh I guessed it too. I thought it was too big to be a geico 😂 The leg looked like a leg to me from the getgo cuz of how my leg looks like 😂 And of course the tail gave it away 🤭🤭
The fact that guessed either wooly monkey or howler monkey just from the tail and limbs alone is crazy! My thought process was just "it has hands so it's a primate, it has a curly tail so it's a spider monkey, howler monkey, or wooly monkey, and it's limbs aren't lanky enough to be a spider monkey, so it must be a howler monkey or a wooly monkey." My final guess was howler monkey, but I was super close for someone who knows basically nothing about primates!
Looking at the tail and foot I immediately realised it was some kind of small mammal that likes to hang out in trees and uses the feet and tail to hang onto branches.
I knew it was a type of monkey when i saw the tail, hand feet, and the general size. I didnt know what old or new world monkeys were but i do now, and i was thinking of new world monkeys and things similar to that.
as soon as i saw the tail i thought spider monkey or something like that, cause it was long and looked like it was ment for grabbing/holding branches. also too big to be a lemur and has 5 grabbing fingers.

It was pretty ovbious that it was some kind of primate, but the fact that you could narrow it down to a New World monkey was very impressive
I'm thinking he went to school or studied things like this, obviously

I am using your channel for my homeschool, please and thank you!! Excellent and interesting!!
Im pretty proud of guessing spider monkey just based off the tail and leg. I love how you broke it down (pun intended) bone by bone though.
From the tail and foot I immediately guessed a monkey, had no clue what kind though
“If you thought of primate, you were correct!”
Me: It’s a moonkeeeehh!!!!
Dang! You're good...I figured it was a monkey when I saw the tail, but I thought that it was a Prosimian.
At first I guessed a Chameleon due to the tail looking thingy, but then when you said a primate I guessed a Brazilian Marmoset!
Yeeaaaaahhhh I guessed it too. I thought it was too big to be a geico 😂
The leg looked like a leg to me from the getgo cuz of how my leg looks like 😂

Ugh, my guess as soon as I saw it was a lemur

It's also from 1940, which is pretty old lol
My D&D necromancer just got a whole lot more interesting.
I instantly knew it was a monkey, the ribs and tail gave it away for me
1st guess was Lemur because the tail
Definitely a chamleon because it has long swirly tail
I guess Capuchin Monkey in 30seconds, close enough 😂

At first I thought it was an aye aye
Darn, I hoped for a fish
Whenever you unboxed it I thought it was a monkey because of the way of the tail and the prime I like body it had
Fish for sure.
Good video man :)
Did you get to keep it??
Oh, i thought it's a chameleon. 😅

I knew it was a type of monkey when i saw the tail, hand feet, and the general size. I didnt know what old or new world monkeys were but i do now, and i was thinking of new world monkeys and things similar to that.
I guessed spider monkey immediately when I saw the tail. So close…
"Great apes"
Dragonball fans: *gasp* That's me.
It's gotta be a chameleon
I was hoping that somebody was having fun at your expense by putting the skull in that box. 😅
Knew it was a primate instantly, and once you ruled out prosimian, I immediately landed on new world monkey. Definitely didn’t get the species though
Can you do a mistery dpeedrun with a primate next time?
as soon as i saw the tail i thought spider monkey or something like that, cause it was long and looked like it was ment for grabbing/holding branches. also too big to be a lemur and has 5 grabbing fingers.
I ACTUALLY GOT THE SPECIES AND THE PHYLUM RIGHT!
Wait....... Did I Identify The Phylum?
Is it a mini spider monkey? Or chameleon? Cuz that’s what I’m thinking rn
That looks like a human 😳
chameleon because of arms and tail (maybe)
Before watching while video: Chameleon?
After: oh I was way off
for a sec i thought it was a lizard then i realised it was a monkey lmao.
I thought It was a rat-
At first I though it was a fish, then looking at the skull I thought it was a bird, then I realized it was the pelvic bone and not a skull
when i instantly saw it i thought chamelion
There are 5 primates. Great apes, Prosiminians, Old World and New World, and HUMANS.
I thought that it was a lemur or lemoor(idk)🤣
As soon as I saw the tail I guessed that it was a monkey.
I guessed Howler monkey from the thumbnail.
I thought of a monkey when i first saf that tail 😂

Could be a fish…
Thought it was a capuchin from the thumbnail.
The first 30 secs, I knew it was a monkey. But I can’t narrow it down that much, cuz I’m an accountant and I’m not used to this.
Thought it was a frilled lizard
