OMG Lorrie these are too cute....I love that little bow...what a fab idea. You always come up with coolest most cleverest ideas. Thanks for your Brilliant & Terrific Tips, Tricks & Techniques. You granddaughter is a living doll!! YOU so ROCK!! Joan Smith
I have been wanting to make my baby girl some bows because we cannot afford to buy expensive bows and I came across this video and absolutely love them!!! It’s amazing how wonderful they look! #CricutLove
I'm new to cricut and so far only cut card and vinyl. thanks for your easy to understand tutorial. I'm going to give it a try this weekend. sorry to read you took the file down because of haters. always ignore the trolls. x
Love this so so so much! Thanks for sharing! I just got all the supplies to make my own and I'm SO sad to see the svg file has been removed due to rude comments. You rock, those people suck!
You could also use strips of a recycled t-shirt for the band. We learned that in a class about cutting up old ones. It's nice if you braid the strips too. Then you can either sew them together or hot glue them.
This is my favorite video of yours right now!!! Was attempting to make felt bows, and was about to give up with frustration! But this was the first video I found for help ♥️ I have been making bows ever since (Wednesday lol) thank you for making this video #Cricutlove
I would recommend checking out the fold over elastic for the hairbands too. It comes in lots of colors and some has designs on it. Then you could coordinate the bow (or whatever) to the design and color of the fold over elastic.
Hey there Lorrie, this is a great project! I didn't have any felt when I saw this video, so I decided to make them out of the Cricut craft foam sheets. A-Maz-Ing! Also, for young girls I decided to use fabric covered rigid head bands from the dollar store.
Lorrie~I love your tutorials!! I'm so sorry that there are people out there that don't have any respect for your time and creativity and it's sad you felt you had to remove the svg file. Those trolls don't have to watch or even make your project~simply move on so the rest of us CAN. Would you please re-post your svg file; I want to make these so badly? Thank you, Lorrie for your videos!
Kim Gottlieb there are lots of bows in design space that work perfectly fine. The reason I took it down is it was being posted in other videos and groups as a freebie and for sale without my permission and without any credit. It was being presented as a file made by the posters.
Unbelievable, I don't understand some people-honestly. Thank you, Lorrie, I've tried a couple in CDS; however, I'm a novice and they don't look as good as your bow. I'll keep playing with them.
What a great tutorial! Makes it easy for beginners like myself to figure out how to use the cricut. I was also wondering how to download the SVG file? I just keep getting an error message unless it's unable to be downloaded from a mobile device which is what I'm currently using. Thank you!
Yashica Warner i prefer the heat bond for a couple of reasons. One it does make the material cut better and two it doesn’t leave fuzzies all over my mat and 3 it helps the bow hold its shape better
@@Catboi698 This is gonna sound really dumb but...I'm curious to know what happens when someone is outside and the bow gets hot while wearing..Won't that be a sticky mess???
Okay thanks :-* I used the same felt you used in this video. Do you think it should be okay? I'm just afraid if I used the deep cut blade that it will cut through my mat :-/
Have you ever tried Freezer paper to cut out felt with your cricut? I do not want to use the heat and bond since I make flowers for headbands and cannot have the sticky stuff on there after they are cut. I'm trying to figure out a way to cut felt with my cricut air. Thanks in advance!
Hi Lorrie, thanks for the tutorial. I am curious what the heat and bond is actually for? I've used it in the past to adhere fabric appliques to shirts, but not sure why it's being used on the bows. Thanks so much!!!
I cannot find it either. In the video you say in comments from your dropbox. I read all the comments and I don find it. :( Would appreciate the link. Thank you!
Hi Lorrie, where did you get your anchor images in your design space? I happened to see them when you were showing the bows. My son is in the Navy and I love the anchor with the banner.
hi there! I see in your image library you have a little girl "siloutte" image below your bow. Would you mind sharing that with me? I'm new to this and trying to make a first communion banner! Would appreciate any help and ideas on where your find these svg images??? Thank you!
Was just wondering as I do have the lite because I use it in quilting and wondered if it had to the the ultra. Thanks for sharing the vie and u have a cute grand baby.
This is such a great tutorial! Thank you for sharing! Is there any chance there's still a way to get the SVG file? I'd be happy to give you my email address.
Thank you for actually including links! So many people don’t! Also thank you for clear instructions with no music! ❤️

I'm new to Cricut and have thoroughly enjoyed your videos. I cannot sew but I see the possibilities!
You are a wonderful grandmother. The bows are beautiful. I love watching your channel. I am thinking about getting the Cricut Maker.
Your granddaughter is absolutely precious.
Kathie Condon thank you!
An adorable felt bow with excellent step-by-step instructions. Thank you!

I love this bow! So much more than the one I just used in design space. I would love the SVG!

hersheyqueen Lisa great tip
great idea

I'd like to borrow this idea and practice using my Cricut to make some projects using felt and faux leather. Looks rather fun!
Love this idea I wish I had made these when my daughter was small but no cricut back then. 🙁
I would recommend checking out the fold over elastic for the hairbands too. It comes in lots of colors and some has designs on it. Then you could coordinate the bow (or whatever) to the design and color of the fold over elastic.
joannesminis I'm not familiar with "fold over elastic"

Super cute! Tfs, love your channel. Cheers, Laurie in Fl.
Thanks for the video!! Excited to make these for my daughter (she's 6 months old her name is Evelyn but we call her Evie also 😍)
Thank you for your great tutorial .
Super cute.

Kayla Fox I'm not sure what the problem might be. It's been downloaded many times by others. Perhaps a security block or something.
#cricutlove winning a cricut would let me make these for all my nicu babies! ❤️
Thank you for your video. It was super helpful.
I love this tutorial! Any way to get that SVG file?
It is in her description box below her video.(:
Thanks so much for this Tutorial! What is the heat press that you referred to? My craft room does not have space for an ironing board.
these are awesome i will be making these
This was such a helpful tutorial, I went out today and bought supplies, any way I can get this SVG file?
I've only cut paper with my Cricut. Do you need the heat and bond just to stick the fabric to the mat? Thank you for all the GREAT videos Lorrie!!!
Linda Kaufman basically, yes. The Hearn bond hold the fabric together and also allows you to put it on the mat and remove it
would the backing help make cutting the felt with scissors easier?
This is a super cute project! Can you give more insight as to why the Heat n Bond on the back? Is it for stability?
Yashica Warner i prefer the heat bond for a couple of reasons. One it does make the material cut better and two it doesn’t leave fuzzies all over my mat and 3 it helps the bow hold its shape better
So cute thank you
Love the bows! It's sad you had to remove the svg file. TFS.
Good Morning!!! Why do you use the heat bond?
I was wondering the same thing. Is it used to stabilize the felt?
I think maybe so the felt sticks real good to the mat.
@@Catboi698 This is gonna sound really dumb but...I'm curious to know what happens when someone is outside and the bow gets hot while wearing..Won't that be a sticky mess???
Great idea Lorrie! Would have never thought of this. Do you know if the thinlets will cut felt? Tfs!
Sharin' Sherri yes they will
Super cute thank u I enjoyed this ♥️
I love this video too
Hi Lorrie Nunemaker, thank you so much for sharing your bow svg! :-) I was wondering if you have to use the deep cut blade for cutting felt?
Alma Bradley I did use the deep blade but I know some who didn't. It really depends on your felt
Okay thanks :-* I used the same felt you used in this video. Do you think it should be okay? I'm just afraid if I used the deep cut blade that it will cut through my mat :-/
Alma Bradley I used the deep blade. I'd suggest making a small square box for a test cut. Start with the regular blade and see if it will cut
Thanks Lorrie Nunemaker! I tried using the regular blade and it worked great! :-D It didn't cut all the way through this time Thank you!
This is a fantastic tutorial! How do we get the SVG file? I would totally buy it if you sold it on Etsy!!!
Lorrie, which glue gun is your favourite? Mine always leaks.
Thank you for sharing - cute idea! Where do I find the SVG you used?
THANK U FOR BOW TOOO!!!:O)

Patti Bailey because it holds the felt together for the cricit to cut it and adhere it to the mat without tearing it up when. Removing
I have try it couple of times, all of the felt has the heat bond but my felt just get fuzzy at the top, do you have any suggestions? TIA
Your so smart.. love I... making these.....
Lorrie, sorry but I am having trouble finding the bow SGV could you please post the link again? Love your tutorials Anne
Anne Moss it's been downloaded at least five times today from the link posted. Not sure what you mean?
I cannot find it either. In the video you say in comments from your dropbox. I read all the comments and I don find it. :( Would appreciate the link. Thank you!
I know you mentioned the strong version of heat and bond. What is the difference between the red package and purple?
Ashley Burdick red is ultra hold and purple is lite as indicated in the package
Hi Lorrie, where did you get your anchor images in your design space? I happened to see them when you were showing the bows. My son is in the Navy and I love the anchor with the banner.
L Greene was not a design space image. It was actually an image from silhouette store that I converted in design space
Hello. Thank you for your video. Plase can you tell me the exact referece of the cutting blade did you used?
Cayita61 I used the deep cut blade for the cricut Explore
What kind of clips are you using to hold until glued?
great video thank you
Hello ma'am, what kind of blade do I need to cut felt or glitter canvas? Thank you!
Tita ParSa it depends which machine you’re using and what type of felt. Design space will guide you based on what type of felt you choose.
@@LorrieNunemaker, thank you so much. I am very new on this. I just git the cricut maker as a gift for mother's day. 😊 I will look into it.
Can you share where you got your spool images? I love making needle books and they would be beautiful in them.
Irene Cortez I made them and used the Cricut print then cut
Thank you so much Lorrie

Tiffany Frambes that's an Audrey Hepburn file I made
Ok this might be a dumb question, but do I have to use the heat and bond? Can't we make it with just felt?
Lena Fntnd I was thinking the same thing. There wasn't really an explanation as to why we need to use the heat and bond.
Can I use any kind of felt?
Very cute
That is so CUTEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
What kind of blade did you use?
This is neat
I can't imagine you getting unfavorable comments on the tutorial. Sorry you had to remove the SVG file.
Hi, did you use the regular blade?
she mentions she uses a deep blade around 5:10
Did you use the ultra hold for a specific reason.
Tammy J it's what I grabbed first. I do have he lite version but have not tried it
Was just wondering as I do have the lite because I use it in quilting and wondered if it had to the the ultra. Thanks for sharing the vie and u have a cute grand baby.
I tried the lite version, it really needs the extra hold. Two flowers were torn in the Cricut machine and two survived.
Tammy J as stated in the video I just used what I had on hand. I have not tried the lite hold
This is such a great tutorial! Thank you for sharing! Is there any chance there's still a way to get the SVG file? I'd be happy to give you my email address.
Erin Wojcicki as
Stated in the video it's in the video description
Oh, my apologies. I read other comments below, that it had been removed. So I assumed. Sorry about that. Thank you!
Can I just felt glue instead?
Aisha Zee I can only speak for what I did. I didn't try felt glue
😍💗✨
SO WOULD IF THE PERSON DOESN'T HAVE A CIRCUT IS ANY OTHER WAY BESIDES THIS
Darlene .Lisa. Owens I’ve seen people just cut the felt using a blade pen and a stencil x
OKAY THANK YOU
