음악 듣기 방식을 앨범 구입만 특정 곡만 취향대로 또 쉽게 소비되는 방식이 싫어서 꼭 사서 대체로 풀 앨범을 가능하난 반복해서 들어보고 아무튼 나름의 고집과 취향으로. 그런 고집이 잊혀지고 음악에 할애하는 시간도 옅어졌어요. 긴 시간 그렇게 보냈네요. 최근에 다시 음악을 자연스럽게 가까이 하면서 유튜브 플레이목록을 엄청 찾았어요 음악을 더이상 솔풀하게 듣지 않고 가볍게 소비하는 저의 바뀐 습관덕입니다. 다시 듣자하니 가장 익숙해진 방식으로 접근은 했지만 예전의 영혼이 집중했던(솔풀) 음악을 원하더군요.. 그렇게 플레이리스트를 찾았습니다 꽤 많은 시간과 에너지.. 집중력으로요. 좀 괜찮아보여도.. 어떤 부분에서 상업 플레이리스트의 한계인가 싶을만큼. 만족감을 갖기 어려웠습니다. 이 곳은 정말 좋네요… 음악을 포함한 예술은 고급과 저급을 얘기하는 풍조가 현대는 아니지만 진짜와 진짜를 흉내낸다 정도는 말할 수 있을 것 같습니다 이곳은 진짜입니다 저에게 ‘진실한 날 것’으로의 음악 듣기를 다시 시작하게 해주셔서 감사한 마음에 적습니다 여기 음악 찐이다 너무 좋다’ 란 얘기를 감사한 마음에 앞 뒤 스토리를 다 풀었어요 마스터피스에 대한 정성 담은 서사노력입니다 좋은 앨범을 선택하고 담아 주셔서 다시한번 감사드립니다
My parents purchased this in 1965. I was 9 years old. I relish every note of this album. Got to see Oscar twice…at the London House with Ray Brown and Ed Thigpen, in Chicago at the age of 10 and in Indianapolis with Joe Pass and Ella Fitzgerald, age 14. My deep appreciation for all music comes from hearing all the great jazz singers and musicians, since birth. Just celebrated my 67th birthday with another great album, Oscars West Side Story. Thanks for sharing this!
