Saw the trio in Berlin in 65. Amazing. His last piece was when you wish upon a star. I had tears poring down my cheeks it was so beautiful done. Love his Canadian suite .so beautiful. That treo is the best.
I saw Ray Brown at the HK Jazz club in/or around 2005. He was utterly dominant - sonically, musically and personally. He filled the room - with magnificent tone, magical flowing endlessly inventive lines and, well, with sheer professorial arrogance. He was THAT good! The standing ovation as he walked out thru the crowd was met with a very quiet, self satisfied smile only....evidently, you have to be cool as a cucumber to play with Oscar!
Masterful gem...thanks WOJ. This was the time when I first got to hear OP with Ed and Ray, I'll always thing of that combo as the best. I'd love to hear others' opinions.
Outstanding, breathtaking, amazing...
Sorry English is not my mother tongue, I'm running out of words.
Brilliant! Imaginative! Unlimited virtuosity!
First tune called Reunion Blues, goes until 01:00, then comes Someday My Prince

Merci World of Jazz via Osca Peterson Trio Concert 1965 🎼💖╰⊰✿🎼🎵
So clean, so smooth, yet so powerful. Unmistakebly Oscar Peterson. Wonder if this concert exists on CD (definitely missing in my collection) ?
I like that relaxed blues they played at the end after "Golden Striker"!!
