I am purchasing this SUV tomorrow. One thing I noticed is the wood trim is real on the side doors but hard plastic over the glove compartment. I dont know why they decided to cut such a corner on one of the premium versions of the vehicle. The Platinum version has real on the glove compartment.
A console could be ordered through your local Parts Department and maybe the Body Shop could put it in, it would need to be drilled and bolted into the floor. It is much easier to get it from the factory.
I have a question that I can't find an answer to anywhere. Can you fold the outside power mirrors forward manually without damaging them? Are they meant to do that without damaging them? I know you can safely fold them back, but can they be bumped forward without hurting them? I have a 2017 Explorer Platinum. Thanks in advance.
Standard engine is the 2.3L Ecoboost with a optional 3.5L Ti-VCT V6 Engine (none ecoboost). 3.5L Ecoboost would be available on the Sport or the Platinum, not available on the Limited.
We tend to stay away from that, Ford doesn't like us to sell our vehicles outside of the United States. We would not be able to give you rebates or free shipping. We could help get it to a port on the coast and you would have to arrange the rest of the shipping from there.
