Dick Grayson taking over Superman title would be interesting, I would add that his suit is made by John Henry Irons who for whatever story reason can no longer use his Steel suit.
I think the entire Bat family ( considering all the impossible things they do now) could use a superpowers story arc but it has to be a unique ability to them, should fit thier style and not change to much. That's why I think Shadow Powers would be good for them. They already work in the dark, disappear like teleporting, never seem to run out of weapons, etc.
Another fun like an annual, Bruce gets really tired and says "I need a week off" and asks the league to sub in. The narrative device is something akin to the episode Almost Got Him, villains talking saying they ran into Batman and they're like "since when could he [do something a JL member does]" and it helps keep the mythic nature of the bat
I had a similar Idea with Tim Drake. He still stayed Robin but he partners with Mr. Terrific to create his own business and provide old and new heros jobs through it. Just so we could see more characters. But would love him as Blue Beetle.
That's a good idea. Have Nightwing being a big supporter along with it to have Tim and Dick's brotherly bond shine through every few issues... Or even have them headquartered in BludHaven and see actual improvement
A fun pitch i've had in my brain for a while is 'Lex Luthor decides to take over gothem's underground while Batman is a while is away (doing JL stuff or off-world for some reason) and the villains say "hey fuck off this is ours"' and you have the bat-villains vs lex luthor.
You could also mix all of the Robin ones at once in like a Batman Beyond era. Nightwing as Superman, Jason's still Redhood but hes mellowed out some, Tim as Blue Beetle, and something happens to the League of Shadows heads so they're like Damien is next in line so he leads them and reforms them into a force for good. So we see Bruce retire in peace seeing his sons become better men than he could've ever hoped
one of my favorite moment in comics comes from Zdarsky run where Matt confesses to his superhero friends that he accidentally killed someone and they say it's not big deal and they've killed too. Matt realises they don't want to acknowledge his guilt because that would mean they are guilty too. Matt deals with it in a horrible way but he isn't completely wrong. I like it because it makes me think of when sometimes men look for accountability and want to be better, but their actions gets invalidated by closest friends who say those actions were not so bad. Because to address that toxic behaviour would mean acknowledging their own.,

The Riddler figures out how to contact Mxyzptlk and makes a deal with him. Mxyzptlk chooses 5 villains to put Nigma's consciousness but gives him amnesia. If he can remember who he is while living each villains life for a week Mxyzptlk will grant him one wish/favour. Edited to add the word favour.

What if Wonder Woman, Vixen and Black Canary switched bodies? Diana with Vixen, Vixen with Black Canary, and Black Canary with Wonder Woman. Diana has to take on Vixen's schedule as a model and animal activist, going to West Africa and stopping poachers. Mari has to go on patrol with Green Arrow and learns to fight and be agile without her totem. Dinah deals with some Olympian and Amazon business, plus diplomatic work, and understanding the newfound strength. A great Slice of Life, day in the life type series.
The only idea I have that I think has major legs is J’son captures the guardians and works with Moonstone to make Captain Marvel hated, so Carol becomes Star-Lord to stop them both.

Always found the Black Widow and Daredevil relationship weird because Nat's way above Matt's pay grade. She's an Avenger/international-tier. If she took the mantle she'd solve Hell's Kitchen's problems in a day.
Here is my pitch. A random time traveler steps out of time which leads to the death of Louis who is pregnant. Superman kills Clark and becomes the insane murder happy dictator of earth. Superman goes full superboy prime. Absolutely everyone teams up to stop him. Everyone comes together in Gotham to stop superman. While he could destroy gotham instantly he wants to kill all hope of resistance so there is an epic fight, bruce wants to protect his sons so he locks them in the bat cave. The fight begins with superman throwing lex into a wall leaving him for dead. Next everyone dies. It's just batman left when the robins come out of nowhere and kill superman but all die in the process. final panel of the first issue is batman holding the corpses of his dead children. Second issue is Bruce rebuilding gotham while lex who somehow survived but with a broken back steps into the shoes of superman using a mechanical suit. The issue ends with bruce suffering from severe PTSD and walking away from the cape locking himself in his manner. (Also batman chops up supermans body into little tiny pieces launching them into space in every different direction so he cannot come back). Lex builds a statue in honor of Clark Kent who was superman's first victim. Keeps a copy on his desk. Third issue relaunches the Beyondverse. Terry (16) becomes batman with the next series focusing on the fallout A.S. issues 3-5 deal with Terry becoming batman and the beginning of his conflict with the jokerz. Issues 6-15 fleshout the main cast telling personal stories with the batman story focusing on dealing with people with superpowers but who lack (and can never develop) the ability to control them. Insert Lex now a good guy who helps subdue these individuals and his son 16 year old Connor Luther. Arc ends with the discover of the Cadmus re-genesis project. Cadmus carried out a Eugenic project to make better superhero's using the DNA of both hero's and villains. (with a single exception no direct cloning). Issue 16-28 Connor and Terry becomes friends. Bruce hates Lex. Connor becomes Nightwing and acts as Batman's foil. The two try to finish high school while at the same time tracking down the successors to the various mantels. Spin off comic series. Issue 24-28 Connor's jump jets get damaged in an earlier issue and now Bruce has taken over the bat suit and is trying to murderize (yes that is the official term) Connor after finding out he is Louis and Clarks son. He is stopped but his and terry's relationship is damaged. Lex reveals the truth about how he revived Connor then kept him frozen for years in the fortress of solitude in order to hide him from Bruce. Took him back on occasion without him knowing it to keep him de-powered. Connor has much weaker versions of superman's powers. Connor remains Nightwing. While that is going on Matt (terry's brother now 14) discovers his brother is batman and decides to become Robin. Nightwing takes over the duties in Metropolis while Robin is doing the superhero thing in secret to try and be able to prove himself to Terry. Terry and Bruce's relationship mends some after Terry finds out about Matt and Bruce tells him basically that "Robin is gonna robin. Either embrace it and do your best to keep the idiot safe, or try and stop him and drive him into continuing in secret and not having backup." Next Arc introduces Terry to college and the court of the owls. Because actions have consequences on occasion new Cadmus experiments crop up as to supers who cannot control their powers. The court doesn't directly control anything but pulls strings behind the scenes. They only have one single solitary purpose to maintain power for the sake of power. Their individual members have personal motives but the group has one goal. With the introduction of Matt we also have Beyond Teen Titans in which Matt assembles his team from the Cadmus experiments. Matt reminds Bruce of each of the robins in various ways. The first Teen Titan's he recuses a clone of Garfield Logan but doesn't know it's either a clone or beast boy as the clone only remains in wolf form for like the first 14 issues. Matt develops a relationship with the new Miss Martin and slowly rehabilitates the wolf who is a lot smarter than it looks. Sort summary beast boy is Damien wayne meets Jason Todd as redhood. Becomes extremely violent if someone tries to read his mind. We are talking really F*ing traumatized. Super religious fundamentalist "parents" before he developed his powers and is gay. After he started to develop his powers he became a poorly treated lab animal. Now hates physical contact. Matt and Garfield eventually become a thing. Matt is basically Garfield's kryptonite and the only reason he doesn't become a murder hobo. This causes conflict between the two as Garfield's attachment in the begin is extremely unhealthy. They break up and see other people even though in the future they end up together it's a long journey there. Through it all though they remain friends even when Garfield is a complete ass. Rule #1 of the universe actions have consequences. Rule 2 characters actually age over time. Rule 3 no one is the mantel forever unless they have an explicit immortality power. Rule 4 and 5 actions have consequences. Which means when people die they stay dead. Anyway that is the highlight of the story I have worked out. Needless to say I have much more. Been thinking about this universe for years. Head canon is awesome.

The Hawkeye freefall run was right during COVID and was put to online only till the last two issues and ruined it but it was a great run when ronin was revealed to be..Ronin!
In a lot of these 'what if xyz' episodes the idea of redeeming mantles (either bc it originally belonged to a villain or generally lame character) is brought up a lot and it'd look kinda weird to make another white guy captain america not very long after falcon & winter soldier aired, so I think it'd be fun to see Flash Thompson as U.S. Agent since he's already an agent of the U.S. government. You could keep the chest stripes and just add on Flash's lenses, armor, etc. but if you need even bigger differences you can make Flash's U.S. Agent costume flip the black and white. The other side of that coin is that you use Cletus Kassidy's symbiote to turn John Walker into Agent Carnage. He doesn't even need to change his color scheme, you can just turn him into a patriotic monster man like the Chainsaw Man author's Captain America drawing (twitter.com/nagayama_koharu/status/1336857131249590277?s=20) (but with black in the place of the blue parts) Another one is to retcon The Gray Ghost from BTAS into Bruce's childhood and let Tim Drake use that as the inspiration for a new identity. He's touted as The Smart Robin already and he seems like the most quiet of the bunch so it'd make sense to turn him into an independent investigator. Also if I could fully have my way I would make Tim put his own spin on the identity by turning into The /Green/ Ghost since one of his most notable accomplishments is adding green pants to the Robin suit but that design would probably get DC in legal trouble with the people who publish Green Hornet. The last one I have is Johnny Blaze's Ghost Rider becoming Daredevil to either resolve or fuel the beef the two have about the name, to see a hilariously over the top Daredevil redesign probably involving a huge collar & 14 chain belts and to see the also ridiculous image of Daredevil breathing fire. He has no real qualifications for the role from any point of view but it's the kind of chaotic thing I could see as a pitstop in a "wow look at how weird the future is" kind of story.
batman who laughs being stuck in the limbo would eb a good story because dc is despereately rrying to forget him but batman always wins so bwl should be able to escape the limbo and wreak more havok that should be the story

Nightwing takes over the duties in Metropolis while Robin is doing the superhero thing in secret to try and be able to prove himself to Terry. Terry and Bruce's relationship mends some after Terry finds out about Matt and Bruce tells him basically that "Robin is gonna robin. Either embrace it and do your best to keep the idiot safe, or try and stop him and drive him into continuing in secret and not having backup."
Next Arc introduces Terry to college and the court of the owls. Because actions have consequences on occasion new Cadmus experiments crop up as to supers who cannot control their powers. The court doesn't directly control anything but pulls strings behind the scenes. They only have one single solitary purpose to maintain power for the sake of power. Their individual members have personal motives but the group has one goal.
With the introduction of Matt we also have Beyond Teen Titans in which Matt assembles his team from the Cadmus experiments. Matt reminds Bruce of each of the robins in various ways. The first Teen Titan's he recuses a clone of Garfield Logan but doesn't know it's either a clone or beast boy as the clone only remains in wolf form for like the first 14 issues. Matt develops a relationship with the new Miss Martin and slowly rehabilitates the wolf who is a lot smarter than it looks. Sort summary beast boy is Damien wayne meets Jason Todd as redhood. Becomes extremely violent if someone tries to read his mind. We are talking really F*ing traumatized. Super religious fundamentalist "parents" before he developed his powers and is gay. After he started to develop his powers he became a poorly treated lab animal. Now hates physical contact.
Matt and Garfield eventually become a thing. Matt is basically Garfield's kryptonite and the only reason he doesn't become a murder hobo. This causes conflict between the two as Garfield's attachment in the begin is extremely unhealthy. They break up and see other people even though in the future they end up together it's a long journey there. Through it all though they remain friends even when Garfield is a complete ass.
Rule #1 of the universe actions have consequences.
Rule 2 characters actually age over time.
Rule 3 no one is the mantel forever unless they have an explicit immortality power.
Rule 4 and 5 actions have consequences. Which means when people die they stay dead.
Anyway that is the highlight of the story I have worked out. Needless to say I have much more. Been thinking about this universe for years. Head canon is awesome.

Wow I want to see that tim drake blue beetle book
In a lot of these 'what if xyz' episodes the idea of redeeming mantles (either bc it originally belonged to a villain or generally lame character) is brought up a lot and it'd look kinda weird to make another white guy captain america not very long after falcon & winter soldier aired, so I think it'd be fun to see Flash Thompson as U.S. Agent since he's already an agent of the U.S. government. You could keep the chest stripes and just add on Flash's lenses, armor, etc. but if you need even bigger differences you can make Flash's U.S. Agent costume flip the black and white.
The other side of that coin is that you use Cletus Kassidy's symbiote to turn John Walker into Agent Carnage. He doesn't even need to change his color scheme, you can just turn him into a patriotic monster man like the Chainsaw Man author's Captain America drawing (twitter.com/nagayama_koharu/status/1336857131249590277?s=20) (but with black in the place of the blue parts)
Another one is to retcon The Gray Ghost from BTAS into Bruce's childhood and let Tim Drake use that as the inspiration for a new identity. He's touted as The Smart Robin already and he seems like the most quiet of the bunch so it'd make sense to turn him into an independent investigator. Also if I could fully have my way I would make Tim put his own spin on the identity by turning into The /Green/ Ghost since one of his most notable accomplishments is adding green pants to the Robin suit but that design would probably get DC in legal trouble with the people who publish Green Hornet.
The last one I have is Johnny Blaze's Ghost Rider becoming Daredevil to either resolve or fuel the beef the two have about the name, to see a hilariously over the top Daredevil redesign probably involving a huge collar & 14 chain belts and to see the also ridiculous image of Daredevil breathing fire. He has no real qualifications for the role from any point of view but it's the kind of chaotic thing I could see as a pitstop in a "wow look at how weird the future is" kind of story.
