Hiii!! I feel like these braids are everywhere right now! I love it :) I have seen a bunch of requests ever since I posted a pic a few weeks ago. It's so funny because I used to be one of those people who didn't understand how someone could braid their own hair. After trying a bunch of times.. it finally came to me!! discussing what I do to keep my hair healthy. I I french braid my hair after every shower. If I am lazy - a regular braid will do. I love doing this because it allows it to air dry in soft waves. It also creates less frizz then if I were to air dry. Thanks to my keratin of course. As much as I love the Keratin treatments i've gotten the past few years, I feel like it may be one of the reasons for my eczema. I have been on a crazy mission to figure out how and when it all started. I'm not saying definitely but it could be one of the factors. My skin is so sensitive so I am looking into it further. I feel so bad for ppl in the comments, so I'm gonna try and help.
The first thing you do is start a normal braid. Then, you take a strand of hair from the right and combine it with your rightmost part. Then you braid it once, then take a strand of hair from the left and combine with your leftmost part. Keep doing this until you can't get any more hair from your hairline. After that you just finish off with a normal braid.
Keynote: Remember to braid going underneath, not over like a normal braid.

Christine Snow You can add any amount theres not like a specific amount but I usually add a few strands. I feel the less hair you add the harder it is, so you can start by adding more and then go a little less.

This is my life story😂
I've made it!!!!! I finally learned this, and I can do this with my extensions, and it looks just like hers! It takes only about 5 mins when you braid it, so good. Now I have always pretty hair in work, couple of co-workers compliment "your hair is gorgeous". Just keep practising, you learn it someday too. Im just so excited cause this was my dreamhair for so long a.d now I have it to myself too ❤

+Shanwey Belle Francia it kind of does because you are not using heat on you hair by blow drying it. if your hair is healthy you don't have to cut it as much and it will grow faster

I have never been able to French braid my hair and was determined this time to not give up until i could find a way to do it. Your tutorial was so incredibly helpful. It take like 10-15 minutes for me to do myself. I have really thick, coarse hair so I have to moisturize it and condition and detangle and brush my hair down before I do it. Afterwards, I lay my edges

I often go to sleep with damp hair, I never have any issue. I try not to in winter because it is cold, also if it's tied up it sometimes won't dry near your scalp.
Viruses cause illness, not wet hair, it's an old wives tale
+Amber Roberts not all illness is causes by viruses. Lots of people carry pathogens, if your immune system is compromised then they will affect you. If your body is using all energy to stay warm you could compromise your immune system. I've experienced it before, not from wet hair but it is possible if it was cold enough

I have always been able to Dutch and French braid other people's hair well, and I can also D/F braid my own hair on the side, but not the top like you show. Great video! I understand it but I cant do this phisically OR MENTALLY!! You lost me at parting 3 pieces of hair and here is a list of things I accomplished personally:
- Gigantic knots in my hair
- Hitting my head on the wall of my bathroom from my mental breakdown
- Crying for about 15 minutes
- A broken $25 brush I just bought a week and a half ago
- A messy sink of the hair that was yanked out of my head from doing this COMPLETELY wrong
- More crying
- A little more crying
- Last but cerainly not least, giving up completely and watching Liza Koshy while I eat ice cream (Oh, while still sobbing so basically, I had a tear or two in my ice cream... Yum?

Valentina Arcila thats cs blood isnt able to flow idk thats what i heard when u raise your hands in the air :p
Because the blood isn't circulating properly. Make sure you rest if your arms start to hurt, or ache, or go numb. My friend BeBe used to braid her own hair.. she would spend hours doing it. She ended up with a blood clot close to her heart. So, if you find yourself struggling, have a rest and get that blood flowing back in your arms :)
