I genuinly teared up watching, I always thought she seemed quite sad when she talked about her streaming, like she didn't enjoy it but she continued to do it for her love for horses and ranch dream. Knowing after the fact that she was basically forced to do everything and was being emotionally blackmailed, it just makes so much sense but at the same time is just too heartbreaking. I am now an Amouranth fan. I always knew of her, I remember once she liked a pic my wife posted of us gaming together years ago, it was what brought her to my radar. But on a human level, I was immediately in support of her. What a LOT of people don't remember is it was slipped that she had a husband YEARS ago but it got swept under the rug, likely due to this psycho using her as a work horse. Hearing her sighs of relief about getting to just be a human again was so sad, but happy for her. The Dobby reference was funny but also heart breaking. I really hope she is able to heal from this and really enjoy living her life. Safe from that abuser.

I'm a bit concerned fact she mentioned how hearing himself on the phone was a wake up call for her husband. I watched that stream, mainly because my own husband and kid, and myself as well, were worried about her. She looked so at peace, relieved, and hurt as well. I honestly dont think she wants to do the onlyfans stuff anymore. I think she just wants to be her and to have fun. And now she can without that ball and chain. I wish her nothing but the best in her endeavors.
Before i have people come after me for having my kid aware of things like this: only reason my kid knows of her is because of this coming out, and us explaining to her that yes, this type of abuse does take place. Explaining difficult things to your child and sometimes showing examples are necessary. We're able to have some adult conversations with her regarding situations that arise in life. To me it's no different than warning her about weirdos in vans claiming they have puppies. The more we educate our children on the difficult topics, the better. And we also did show her things from the jd ah trial too, and also had discussions on that.
Good parenting. If they're old enough to ask a question about something in the real world, they're old enough to be given an honest answer. It's adults' responsibility to understand ethical issues & our own values enough to be able to communicate complex things to different age levels. Love your style, keep up the good work!

full respect. if your child is old enough to understand the situation, i see no issue with it. difficult situations will always arise and it’s usually best to inform your child regardless of how difficult the discussion may be, because this world can be a cruel one and it is up to us to teach our children and not perpetuate this cycle. you’re allowing your child to form their own opinion with guidance from you and your partner(?), if your child so requests it, and those are probably the best possible circumstances.

While this specific topic hasn‘t been addressed as detailed, my kids‘ aunt knows men only through violence. Bad men make a woman pregnant so she cannot run away. Said „woman“ was 15. But it‘s an important lesson. I just hope my girls will have better luck.
