I found so many socks on Amazon already with the fur trim on them. I've made 1 already and it turned out so adorable. I'm asking so many people if they like gnomes. Whoever likes them will get 1. These little guys are like potatoe chips...Can't eat just 1. Can't make just 1!!!! Thx so very much for the clear and easy instructions!!
Patti I can’t believe how cute he is. I love the fur. This is the easiest sock gnome I’ve ever seen. Thank You for sharing your talents with us. Still trying to organize my craft room. If anyone wants to share their ideas , including you Patti please do. Georgene
well i bought all of the things I need to make the gnomes only thing I forgot was the pipe cleaners. oh well but I cant wait to get into it. thanks again for making such an easy way to make it.
Really like the fluffy trim on the hat. Also your videos are the best. Quick and to the point. My first gnome that I just made was built using a st Patrick themed footett. I just couldn't find a taller sock for that holiday. It turned out but now I'm going to add that amazing trim thank you!
Definitely like the fur. I accidentally touched a rubber band I had attached with my glue gun. Melted right through. Needless to say I tie my string over it right away now. 😅 I like this version of making gnomes. Can’t wait to do it this way.
WITH the fur for me, adds that special little something. If we can't find printed festive socks we can always use holiday colors and glue miniature holiday decorations such as felt or balsa wood found in craft stores.
@@PattiJGood Thank you and I just thought of an idea if you'd like to use it and share with others. Stores like Hobby Lobby and Michael's sell the most darling buttons. Many are already holiday specific while others can be perfect. For example: patriotic gnomes around the world can use buttons of flag colors as well as button figures that represent the country like tulips for Holland🥰
Wow Patti! This one is so quick and easy. Zip, zip, zip, and he's finished! I love them both ways. I think depending on the design on your sock, I might try them both with and without the trim. The "snowbirds" are starting to come back so I'm starting to get very busy again with work so these little cuties are perfect for me and my free time. Thank you so much. Talk to you Thursday. Have a great week. Pattie
Thanks Pattie, these are super easy. I'm making them for Christmas gifts. Sorry you are so busy, I hope that you get some down time. Have a great week.
love your Ideas
Thank you! 😊
