I just made these 5 minutes ago. Love the crunch! I forgot to rinse the pork nuggets so will definitely do that next time! Note to self, do not taste these after the first microwave session It was horrible LOL. They have to do the full-time just like the recipe says😂
😂🤣😂 not to mention they will break your teeth!!! I am releasing a regular pork rind one hopefully tomorrow and it’s much easier🎉 Thanks so much for the feedback CC😁
@@cheffatgrams it's nice to have something that is truly crunchy that is something that I miss when I did keto and I still miss it being more on the carnivore side of things. I can make crunchy bacon and things like that but it is not quite the same thing. I've made a few keto cheese crackers with powdered cheese and almond flour and stuff like that and they were pretty good but you have to eat them all right away because they lose that crisp within a few hours and they get gummy. I think with your Cheetos recipe they could even be dusted in powdered cheese I don't think they would lose that crunch!
@@cheffatgrams yeah I don't know what the hell I was thinking when I took that bite I was like oh no lol. They were like little cement bricks and the flavor was questionable but I'm like settle down finish the recipe once I did that it was a game changer 😁 One thing that's really nice with these surprisingly is they're very filling I made one batch like your recipe amounts call for I've only eaten half of them and I'm full so that is another plus for me.
Chef, you ARE the ORIGINAL creator of the most delicious CHEAT-o recipe on the UA-cam space . I Will 💯 % will be making batches of these for the Holidays to "healthify" my friends & family. You Sir, are a Carnivore culinary chef perfectionist & we your loyal followers THANK YOU for all your hard work & talent!❤🤍💙
thanks so much Geri😊🤗 Yeah, you know I just dabble in carnivore😂🤣😂 I’d call myself ketovore😜 Some people have more strength than me. I can’t give up my veggies and sweets. Hope you’re having a wonderful day.
It’s me again! I tried again, this time doing a coarser chop (but still using the Nutribullet milling blade). It only took like 4 brief pulses. The main difference this time was that I followed your directions better about the slit size on the piping bag. Before I used a bag that had a precut hole of about 0.4-0.5 inch. So they were big puffs. This time the piped strings were much smaller, and they came out perfect. Thanks for the recipe!
awesome, thanks so much for the update. I did say in the video I deleted, the hole needed to be a quarter of an inch (.25) I’m assuming that’s about the size you cut it the second time😊 this is great information for those who haven’t tried it yet😜 hope you have a blessed day.
Is there any alternative to lowreys microwavable pork rinds?....too much crap in them, including maltodextrin, which has a higher glycemic index than pure sugar and glucose.
I never got back to it, but this recipe could be modified to make perfect chili cheese Fritos. ua-cam.com/video/qKdGdD4NQyI/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared maybe it’s time to revisit it😜
Thanks for re-uploading. I hope this will work in my blender that has a glass container. I was going to try using my coffee grinder, but it is also made out of plastic.
Richard no problem my ninja is already scratched up its old and very used but i will soften the Rinds first. Lol😂 thanks for the update. Im buying some to make these when I get paid.
Since there’s many different kinds of Lowery‘s pork rinds, I need to ask. Are they the regular ones or are they the curls or are they the chicharrones ?
Thank you for remaking the video. Question: if you put chocolate or food dye and make small dots instead of short lines -> will it be a good cereal substitute ?
@@cheffatgrams do you think powdered peanut butter might work for the cereal version without making it too dry? Use the powdered peanut butter instead of the egg white powder?
Hey Chef, I'm struggling with this recipe for some reason. My cheetos are coming out incredibly hard and dense. I feel like I must be missing something. Hoping you might know what I'm doing wrong.
Are you using the lowerys microwavable nuggets? If so it may need more cook time depending on the microwave. If the pork nuggets are not cooked long enough it will be like eating raw macaroni pasta.
I have a little Ikea microwave ..... And it was useless for the viral cottage cheese chips.... I have a suspicion that it will not be ideal for these either. 😢 Chef have you tried this in the air fryer during your experiments?
You make them, bag them and sell them...I will buy them!! I can't flow all of this...and not gonna buy equipment to make cheetos...but SERIOUSLY...make them, without all the added junk...they'll sell...give a link to order.
I'm considering that that’s why I put the disclaimer on the video😊 The next recipe is better plus I have three more in the finalizing stages 😂🤣😂 I did, however, have an honorable mention fail this evening when testing it🥲
I’m not familiar with pork nuggets, are they significantly different than simply using already ground pork rind crumbs? For those of us that don’t have a mill and already have a container of the crumbs?
Pork rinds are made in three stages boiled dried then fried. The pork nuggets are just the dried pork rinds before frying that's why they work in the microwave.😊
@@sheryltomlinson8382 sorry Cheryl but it will not. I do however, have a very old video with regular pork rinds that is very good. ua-cam.com/video/Ltc1s0CpsXA/v-deo.html I hope it doesn’t make you fall asleep if you watch it😂🤣
I tried with the Mac Cracklin and they didn’t work. There is one made by turkey Creek called Cracklin strips and I have found success with them. That is the only one I found, but the Lowery’s can be found at Walmart and a lot of feed stores that’s why I use them for the video😊

Thank you for doing the science to bring us this recipe and for the update. I like the grinder mill attachment idea.
Thanks, it was fun making this one😁 but I’m aware most people do not have this equipment. I will be releasing a simple version soon.😊
Another great recipe, thanks!
thank you, Beverly😊

this is the brand I usually use, but the Lowries are usually at Walmart so that’s why I put them in a video a.co/d/imblwP6
This is amazing Chef. I love that you we get to see the process and how you got there in the end. Say what...Kitchenaid has a gender attachment? 😂

@@cheffatgrams most definitely
Cool. But I dont have that grinder. Would it work if you cook the pork rinds first? Love the idea of keto friendly crunchy snacks
I’m working on an experiment, I’ll let you know when I finish it. 😁
Since there’s many different kinds of Lowery‘s pork rinds, I need to ask. Are they the regular ones or are they the curls or are they the chicharrones ?
I’ve never seen the curly microwavable ones, but they have to be the microwavable ones because those are not formed yet. 😊
Thank you for remaking the video.
Question: if you put chocolate or food dye and make small dots instead of short lines -> will it be a good cereal substitute ?
Kind of that’s why I put cereal as one of the things I was working on in the community post😁 you will have to use a neutral cheese like provolone
Also, I have an edited version coming out using regular pork rinds because of so many requests😜
@@cheffatgrams do you think powdered peanut butter might work for the cereal version without making it too dry? Use the powdered peanut butter instead of the egg white powder?
@thecarnivorecollective It would take some tweaking but I think it would work CC. I love Eustace idea for chocolate too😁🎉

Thanks. I'll try more cook time and the pork panko version. Thanks for the recipes!
Did you try air frying the pork pellets first then pulsing in your bullet then using in recipe?
No that's what makes it successful and why the equipment needs to be able to handle it 😉
